Chapter 7 Divorce Agreement

It was obvious Anna had ratted him out, but she didn't feel guilty. She hadn't done anything wrong, so what was there to worry about?

"Yeah, I went, but..." Emma started to say.

"Emma, you're so cruel!" George's angry words cut through Emma like shards of glass, spreading pain instantly.

"Did you tell Anna that even if you died, you'd still cling to me and never let her into the Russell family?" George yelled.

Emma wanted to explain, but before she could, George threw her onto the bed again.

He ripped her clothes off roughly and pounded into her. The agony shot through her body as he pounded into her with a savage brutality. Right now, George was nothing but a brutal abuser, and Emma was terrified, fearing for the baby inside her.

She couldn't understand why George had to humiliate her like this.

The overwhelming shame and excruciating pain soon made Emma pass out.

When she woke up, she was in the hospital. As her blurry vision cleared, the figure beside her made her heart tighten.

"You're awake?" Anna sat by her bed with a cold smile, her eyes full of jealousy and sarcasm. "You really are something, ending up in the hospital for this."

George had been so rough that Emma had passed out and was sent to the hospital.

"What are you doing here?" Emma asked quietly, trying to suppress a sense of dread.

"I'm here to see you, dear sister." Anna's lips curled into a sinister smile. "I heard you fainted. How pitiful. Seems like George really doesn't care about you at all."

Emma felt a sharp pain in her heart and asked, holding back her emotions, "What exactly do you want to say?"

"I have a lot to say." Anna leaned in close, whispering with a malicious glint in her eyes. "First of all, George, he's with me, giving me all the love you can't have. You have no idea how much he enjoys being gentle with me! He spends every night with me, unlike you, just a woman he uses and discards!"

So every night George didn't come home, he was with Anna.

"What are you talking about?" Emma was shocked, unable to accept this sudden information.

"Did you really think he would continue to love a worthless woman like you?" Anna sneered, her face full of provocation. "To him, you're just a passerby!"

Emma felt a wave of helpless anger and stared at Anna. "I will never give up on George!"

"Then I'll show you what it means to love and not be loved!" Anna smiled sinisterly, pulling out a document from her bag and slamming it in front of Emma. "Divorce papers! Sign them and leave him while you still have some dignity!"

"What do you mean?" Emma's heart sank, a sense of despair washing over her. "I won't sign it!"

"Do you think you have a choice?" Anna laughed coldly.

"Even if I'm alone, I will never back down!" Emma's voice was filled with a determination born of pain. "I will never give up on George!"

"Poor Emma, your strength is all in vain." Anna's fingers traced the divorce papers as she spoke coldly. "Emma, look at yourself. George will never love a woman like you. He has told me more than once that you're the most disgusting, shameless woman he's ever met, and marrying you was the biggest mistake of his life!"

Emma's heart seethed with a tempest of anger and grievance as she faced Anna, her hands trembling uncontrollably. She had anticipated this day would come, but she didn't expect it to come so soon.

George loved Anna. In this chase for love, she was the loser, destined to lose everything.

Seeing Emma's face gradually turn pale, Anna laughed wildly.

Just as their argument was about to erupt again, a ruthless glint flashed in Anna's eyes, as if she was about to assault Emma.

"You're always so self-righteous. I'll show you what I'm capable of!" Anna's lips curled into a cold smile as she took a step closer.
