Chapter 5

“The man I love is with your fiancée, and if I marry you, don’t you think this is too dramatic?” Sarah could not describe her feelings at this moment. She only felt that this was too inconceivable!

“You only need to tell me your decision.” Christian retracted his gaze. A trace of firmness that he had never seen before slid across his eyes.

“I won’t marry you! I don’t love you at all. Why should I marry you?” Sarah said without thinking.

Sarah’s hands were tightly clasped together and her heart was in a mess! Logically speaking, she should have rejected it. But the words of this man just now had started to sway her!

“Can I really get a divorce at any time?”

“Let’s go back to the apartment!” Christian ordered Jayson with a dark face.

“Yes!” Jayson immediately started the car and drove towards Christian’s apartment.

“Shall we return to your apartment now?” Sarah turned her head and looked at him, not understanding what he meant.

“Do you think you can go home in your current state?” Christian looked at her and asked coldly.

Sarah immediately shook her head helplessly.

Even since her father passed away nine years ago, her mother had treated her as all the hope of her life. She was filled with longing for her to marry into the Cooper Family. If she went back today and told everything to her mother, she would not be able to bear this blow even more than she did!

She absolutely could not go back!

“Drive!” Seeing that she did not speak, Christian ordered Jayson in a deep voice.

The car started slowly and drove towards Christian’s apartment.

Sarah tightly gripped her bag, as if there was a big hole in her heart. It was empty! Before today, her life was still filled with happiness and sweetness. Before she walked into Julian’s office, she was still looking forward to whether he would propose to her today. She looked forward to wearing the wedding dress that she dreamed of in the near future. She hoped that she could become the happiest and most beautiful bride in the world and smile happily in front of everyone.

But now, everything was shattered into pieces!

So nine years was just a beautiful dream!
