Chapter 5 Meeting All Three Alphas
Blair's Pov
"Why wouldn't she like it? Do you know she's our maid?"
I turned to the person who spoke. He stood now fully clad and away from the lady he was shagging from the back.
"I am no maid," I said as I turned to the person who talked behind me. My mouth could hardly hold on to what it saw, tugging at me with my increasing heart rate.
He stood at almost six feet, with slanting eyes. His dark hair curled almost the same as the guy from the pool as he walked closer. I could see that he had buttoned his clothes this time as he came closer. His dark eyes and golden skin were almost like a match made in heaven.
"I did not know we had a new maid," the guy from the pool said as he walked closer to me.
I held my breath, trying to hold myself from the explosion of beauty around me. I had not expected the people I am to babysit to look this good, handsome to a fault. That was the right word to it, I thought as I raised my head to look at the man.
"I am no maid. I am a babysitter for the three of you in the house," I said after I let the air from my lungs. My answer was for Sinclair, as he was the bulk of my problems right from the moment I stepped into the house.
The pool guy was standing in front of me now, rubbing the towel over his face before his pale gray eyes found mine. "Never knew we needed a babysitter while we stayed here," he said after he finished scrutinizing me with his eyes.
"I never saw the need to babysit three grown-up men, too," I muttered to myself.
"Does that mean we will get a maid anytime soon?" he asked.
"Maid? She is the maid, Gabriel. She just calls herself a babysitter but she is doing all the duties of a maid," Sinclair said, as he turned his head in my direction.
"I'm sorry if I had startled you from the pool," he apologized.
"It's fine. It would not be the first time," I said as I offered him a smile, feeling my body jitter from the feeling of standing with both of them.
"My name is Gabriel," he said as he held out his hand in front of me.
"Gabriel." He nodded his head as I repeated the name, taking firm hold of my hand. He threw me a smile as he took the towel, placing it on his hair to dry it.
"Damn!" I muttered to myself as I stared at the men in front of me. The anger I had for Sinclair was fading away as I saw how beautiful he was. I could not tell what to do as I fiddled with my hands and the vacuum cleaner, stealing glances at their faces.
"What are you staring at?" He asked as turned towards me, catching me at one point. His hands were on his stomach, stroking it like a cat.
"Nothing," I answered as I turned away Gabriel, who was trying to dry his hair.
"I think I heard some voices talking right here."
We turned to see Caleb walking in from the corner. He stopped as he saw all of us looking at us. He looked behind and around to search if there was anyone behind him from the way we looked at him.
"Is anything wrong?" He asked as he put his hands into his pockets, walking stealthily towards us.
"Nothing," Sinclair said, turning to me with a smirk on his face. "We were talking to our new babysitter." He continued, pointing at me.
Caleb nodded his head in agreement as he walked towards us. I stood with them, holding the vacuum cleaner in my hands like it was some kind of weapon. Well, that was the feeling I had at the moment.
"Looks like you found the vacuum cleaner," Caleb said as he pointed to the thing in my hand.
I nodded my head as I stretched it to him, looking at it like I found it as he mentioned the name in our presence.
"You claim to be our babysitter and yet we know nothing about you," Sinclair said as he placed his hands into his pockets.
"True, but on another angle I know nothing about y'all as well. They gave me no prior information about you guys when they gave me my orders," I said as I looked at the boys.
"You already know me," Caleb said with a smile as he pointed to himself. "I'm Caleb." He continued as he offered me his hand for a handshake.
"I'm Sinclair. Sinclair Blackwood," Sinclair said, but he let his hands remain in his pocket. At least I knew where the ego came from, as his father was the one who offered me the job for a place among the members of his pack.
"And I am Gabriel, Gabriel Stone. The next alpha-to-be of Oakwood pack," Gabriel said as he took my hand in for a handshake.
"Was it necessary for you to tell her your position in your pack?" Caleb said with a chuckle.
"Show off," Sinclair said, as we all burst into laughter.
"I had to do that as I have introduced myself to her before," he said with a chuckle as he looked around. The others scoffed loudly, with grins appearing on their faces. "But we do not know our babysitter's name," Gabriel said, still holding to my hand like I would disappear from his sight.
"My name is Blair," I said, letting my hand cling to Gabriel's hand.
"Blair," they said simultaneously, looking around as if they waited for the name to digest.
"I hope we have a great time together," Gabriel said before he let go of my hand.
"I hope so, too," I said as I let my eyes roam over the boys. I really hoped it would end in the best of moments. If not for anything, at least my mother needs it to be.
I raised up my head to look at the blue sky, smiling as the boys dispersed from my side.
