Chapter 12 ESCAPE

RIEKA POV

A flicker my eyes open, to the body pain as always, I have become accustomed to pain. My head is banging and I feel as though I am going to faint any moment now.

I sit up right but then realize that my hands and feet have been bound to the bed, and I see Ralph pacing back and forth, that's when I recall what happened earlier.

I had decided to go see my lawyer concerning the sale of my company, but forgot an important document, by the time I returned.

.I saw Lifa and Ralph talking about how he got rid of our children and rendered me wombless.

It was then I realized that I was done with this toxic marriage, you know how you keep persevering with someone hoping that they would one day change, but guess what they never do, because the devil never bargain.

Well, I am not surprised that I am tied to the bed right now, I suppose I went a little over board with anger, I should have never confessed that I had feelings for him brother, I just really wanted to hurt him.

I knew he will never let me go.

' What am I going to do?' I think as I try to hold my head in pain.

"Babe you're ok"Ralph says as he strides towards me "Thank God"He says as he hugs me

"I am so sorry babe"He apologizes, I don't believe this jerk expects me to forgive him after what he did, what a delusional man.

Then a beautiful idea cross my mind and I decide to give it a try, knowing this idiot, I am sure he will fall for it.

"What are you sorry for?"I pretend to be confused.

"Are you ok?"He questions nonplussed, as he stares at me.

"I am fine. Why am I tied up love, last thing I remember is that we were getting married. Ahhh.."I say before I pretend to be in pain.

"You don't remember anything?"He ask uncertain.

"No, not at all. Why? what happened?"I play dumb.

"Oh God, thank you"He says as he hugs me.

"You are acting weird"I say and he laughs "Can you untie me now"I say.

"Sorry "He apologizes with a smile, before he unties me

"Can I get some water?"I ask

"Sure, I will get some from the fridge"He informs and tries to leave but I stop him.

"No, I don't want cold water, get me fresh water from the tap"I say and he starts moving towards the restroom.

"Where are you going to?"I ask confuse "I don't want to drink bathroom water"I complain

"You're right, I am sorry. I will go get the water"He says before walking out and that's when I take the opportunity to escape, I immediately descend from the bed and try to find my way out of the mansion, even though my legs were warbling on the floor.

I support myself on the wall and force myself to move, despite the banging sound in my head.

I slowly my struggle out of the room and when I was about to enter the room, I hear RALPH shout out my name.

I immediately take to my hills for fear that he might get his hands on me, only to run into Alpha Farkas at the door post.

"Pa help me"I beseech him.

"What are you talking about?"He questions confused.

"Help me pa, Ralph has been hurting me"I cry.

"I don't understand? what do you mean by Ralph has been hurting you?"He ask nonplussed.

"Ralph has been hi..."I say before Ralph comes striding in angrily.

"Rieka"He yells as he tries to grab hold of me, but I take shelter behind ALPHA FARKAS.

"Don't let him touch me pa"I beseech ALPHA FARKAS in tears.

"What is going on here? Son what's Rieka saying? Is it true, are you hurting her?"Pa questions angrily.
