♥ Chapter 10 ♥

Kael Darkmore.

After I left my brother's company, I went straight to work. As a judge, I always have piles of cases to review, decisions to make, and hearings to prepare for. Today, however, my mind is far from these duties. Despite being surrounded by important files and documents, I can't concentrate on anything but her. Yara Blake.

From the moment we met her, something changed. We've always had women in our beds, one after the other, but none of them aroused in us what Yara managed to do. Her submissive manner captivated us in a way I hadn't expected. There's something about her shyness—the way she lowers her head—that intrigues me. I find myself wondering if she's a virgin. Just because she's married doesn't mean she isn't. I've seen cases where women have sought divorce because their husbands haven't fulfilled their marital obligations. If Yara is a virgin, that would make it even more interesting.

As soon as I got to work yesterday, the first thing I did was ask my secretary to find out everything about Yara Blake. I'm still keeping the information under wraps, but I know my brothers well enough to know that they won't be able to control themselves for long. Magnus, with his obsession for control, and Damien, with his uncontrollable desire, are both as fascinated as I am. I might even consider myself the calmest among us, but I know that this calm is only superficial. I'm just as involved as they are, perhaps just a little more patient.

My work is important, but today it's hard to focus on anything other than Yara. She has become a kind of obsession, something I need to uncover and explore. And the more I think about her, the more eager I am to find out everything about her life, her past, and how she might fit into our plans. Because one thing's for sure: if she's caught our attention, we won't rest until she's ours.

15:00 '' Office. '' Eldoria.

Saturday.

I'm sitting at my desk, my mind still full of thoughts about Yara, when I hear a soft knock on my office door.

''Come in,'' I say, trying to clear away the distractions.

My secretary, an efficient and discreet man, enters with a folder in his hand.

''Here you are, sir,'' he says, handing me the folder. ''I've managed to gather this information so far.

I thank him with a nod and open the folder, curious to know more about the woman who has been occupying my thoughts so much. The name on the first page immediately catches my eye: Yara Blake. I continue reading the information, and my expression becomes more serious as the details are revealed.

Yara Blake is the wife of Ronan Blake. Ronan is a medium-sized businessman who owns a construction company that always seems to be struggling to stay afloat. An interesting detail is that Yara's father is a long-time friend of Ronan's father. The two of them, in an attempt to strengthen the ties between their families and, possibly, their companies, arranged Yara and Ronan's marriage. A marriage of convenience, like so many others I've seen.

I close the folder and lean back in my chair, thinking. So that's it? A marriage arranged for mutual benefit. It's no surprise that Yara has that submissive look and an obvious sadness in her eyes. I married not out of love, but because of a decision made by others. This only fuels my curiosity. Could there be something more behind this marriage? I wonder, does Ronan value her? Or does he just see her as an extension of his business?

''Is that all for now?'' I ask my secretary, although I already have a good idea of what kind of relationship I'm dealing with.

''Yes, sir. I will continue to investigate and gather more information if necessary.

I make a gesture of dismissal, and he leaves the office, leaving me alone with my thoughts. The pieces of the puzzle begin to fit together. Yara is yet another victim of a world of interests, used as a bargaining chip. This only increases the desire in me. She deserves more than this fate—more than being a trophy wife in a loveless marriage.

At the same time, however, the fact that she is married does nothing to diminish my obsession. On the contrary, it only makes it more interesting. The fact that she's trapped in an unhappy marriage only makes her more desirable. Because now, it's not just about wanting Yara. It's about getting her out of Ronan's clutches.

The thought of corrupting this purity, of freeing it from its invisible chains, makes my blood boil. If she has attracted the attention of the three of us, there is no turning back. Yara will be ours, no matter who tries to stop it. And if that means destroying Ronan and anyone else who stands in our way, then so be it.

After all, we always get what we want. And now, we want her.

So I decided to call Magnus. Dialing his number, I wait for him to answer, feeling an expectation grow inside me.

''Magnus, it's me. ''I say anxiously.

'' I know, I have your number. What is it?'' He asks, with a tone that mixes curiosity and formality.

“I've just received some interesting information about our Yara Blake.” I pause for him to absorb what I'm saying. I hear a faint murmur from the other side, as if Magnus is settling into his chair.

''Oh really?'' His voice becomes more attentive. ''And what did you find out?

'' She's married to Ronan Blake. '' I explain, emphasizing the revelation. '' Ronan is a construction entrepreneur, and their marriage was arranged by his parents to unite their companies and ensure mutual support. It's a strategic alliance.

'' Interesting. '' Magnus murmurs. I sense that he is reflecting on the information.

''Indeed, it is fascinating,'' I say with a smile. ''She's trapped in a loveless marriage and probably feels oppressed.

'' So that makes her even easier for us. '' Magnus says, a tone of satisfaction in his voice. ''Her lack of freedom, the control her husband exerts… All this just makes the idea more seductive.

'' Exactly. '' I agree, feeling a sense of anticipation.

''We'll continue with the plan. We'll take it slow, observe the situation, and see how she reacts. If she gives in to our advances, then there'll be no need to go slowly. '' Magnus pauses, as if visualizing what's to come next. '' Today is Saturday. Tomorrow night, we'll start the raids.

I feel a smile form on my lips as I think about the possibilities. The idea of seeing how she'll react to us, and how she'll give in to the inevitable attraction, is exciting.

''Tomorrow night, then. '' I confirm, already anticipating what's to come. ''Let's see how far she can resist.

'' That's right. '' Magnus replies, his voice laden with determination. ''It'll only be the beginning.

I hang up the phone, letting out a sigh of satisfaction. The anticipation grows inside me, like an electric current about to be released.

'' I'm sorry, Yara. You fell into the clutches of three crazy men.

I know it's not normal, no one gets so obsessed with someone so quickly. But obsession isn't something you can control. We've discussed it many times: if someone catches our eye and moves us, they become ours, right to the end.

Obsession is an uncontrollable force, something that goes beyond reason or logic. It's a flame that, once lit, can only be fed, never extinguished. Yara came into our lives like a gentle breeze, but quickly turned into a hurricane that shattered our tranquility.

We'll see how this relationship develops, whether it goes forward or backward. The only certainty I have is that we won't give up on her so easily. She's ours, even if she doesn't know it yet.

For now, we'll keep calm, watch, and see how she reacts to our advances. But deep down, I know that this calm is only temporary. Once she gives the first sign of surrender, there will be no turning back. And I can't wait to see how it all plays out.
