Nicole Salvatore is a news reporter and the little sister to José Salvatore, a police detective.

I watch her as I pull off my shirt. Her gaze cuts to me and she quickly averts it as soon as it locks on my body.

She is staring down at her hands when I fling the pillows she has placed between us to the floor.

She stares at me and gets off the bed. I reach her  and she steps back, her back hitting the wall.

I have her pressed against the wall, just an inch of space between us. I can hear her labored breathing as her lashes flutter up to meet my gaze. She swallows and my gaze hovers on her delicious lips.

"One," I start. "This is my bed. Don't f-cking test my patience by placing pillows between it. Two, you sleep on the bed and nowhere else.  And three, don't avert your gaze from me. I'm yours and you're f-cking mine."
