"If I ever have to get married to anyone, I swear on my life that it would not be you!" His index finger almost pushed into me as he pointed them at me and his eyes burned with the rage of hatred and anger.

"And let me make this clear to you Taylor, if—if at all you have your way with me being your husband...your mate," he corrected.

"I'd make sure I will be with other she-wolves and make sure you feel every pain of betrayal; I'll see to it that you feel how I felt when you killed my Odette," he said, walking closer to me. The back of my throat stung with tears that were already brimming.
