Chapter 7

Aurora

The hard part was over, I was in. Granville Prep College. Only for the richest in the country. I was dressed in disguise because I didn’t want to risk the men from my past to recognize me. My omega was whimpering in my mind. But since the surgery my sense of smell had gone. I didn’t understand what she was saying. Yeah, my body may have changed in the last six years, but my eyes have not, and neither has my height. My heart was stuck in my throat the entire time they followed behind me and my closest friend Lexi to the Deans office.

The secretary hands us our matching schedules as she eyes me suspiciously.

“You’ll need to straighten that tie and get pants that fit better than that if you want to fit into this college.” She snarls.

I roll my now brown eyes hidden behind contacts and glasses that didn’t have a prescription.

Lexi giggles as she holds on to my arm, her long nails digging into my arm. We set off to our classes. I had asked her to be by my side during this for as long as possible, not knowing if I could really do this. My long black hair hidden underneath the short red wig. My curves, thicker than Lexi’s was hidden behind the baggy clothes. There was no way I’d ever be able to wear form fitting clothes without revealing I was really a girl.

The first two classes of the day passed in a blur. Getting our prerequisites out of the way our Freshman year in order to later focus on what our end goals were. For me it was prelaw for Lexi, premed.

Lexi stayed latched to my arm as we entered the lunchroom. Grabbing a coffee from the nearest stand and two sandwiches we looked around for a place to sit.

“You have cock sucking lips.” His voice came from behind me. Knight Wolfe.

“I can't wait to feel them around me as I face fuck you.” He said as he slid up behind Lexi and I. Leaving me with no doubt in my mind that he was talking to her.

Without responding I swirled around and before I could even think I had grabbed Knight by the back of the neck threw him against the table and had his arm In a bar hold from behind. My knee digging his back.

He started grunting “What the fuck?” Trying to throw me off his back with his bulk. But I had trained for years to be able to take down men more than twice my size.

“You think that's a fucking compliment?” I growl to disguise my voice. The cafeteria had gone completely silent. All eyes on me. No one had ever dared to stand up to one of the Gravins. And here I had one at my mercy. I couldn’t help the grin that overtook my face.

“You think telling someone you don't know that your imagining fucking their face is a compliment. You are disgusting.” I pulled his am tighter as he continued to struggle to break free. I was stronger than he could have ever imagined.

I pulled his head back with my opposite hand and grinned as his neck strained from the pressure. The veins prominent. The glare he was shooting me with his bright blue eyes would have broken anyone else. But not me. I wasn't going to let some rich douches push me around.

I slammed his face down against the table satisfied when I heard the crunch of his nose breaking.

“Learn some fucking manners, Wolfe. Or next time it won't be just your nose that I break. Next time I'll take a knife and cut your balls off.”

Lexi was just standing there her big green eyes wide as she took me in. I don’t think either one of us was fully prepared for what I just did. Even with all my training I never would have believed I was strong enough to drop a Graven, on my first day.

“What the hell is going on here?” A deep voice says from behind me, and I grin. I released Knight. Stepping closer to Lexi as he brought his hands to his nose.

“Teaching your boy some manners seems you guys haven't been taught. It's not okay to sexualize a girl. For a rich kid he should know better. He's lucky she don't sue his ass.”

I pressed play on the phone I had recording in my pocket and replayed the entire interaction where everyone could hear. Lucians eyes narrowed as he glared down at me. I wanted to flip my hair over my shoulder but settled for smiling sweetly at him. “I'd hate for him to end up on the sex offender list but if it keeps him from sexualizing another girl, I'm all for it.”

Knight stood there cupping his nose as he glared at me his 'brother' stepping up to him. Assessing the damage I had inflicted. I couldn’t help but smile at what I had done.

“You just marked yourself.” He growled at me.

I smirked, “No I just proved I wasn't going to take your shit. You may be the kings of Granville. But I will bring you to your knees.”

I smiled as I turned and walked out of the cafeteria as if I didn't have a care in the world. In reality my heart was flying a mile a minute. My fear was only for me. I wasn't going to give them the satisfaction of scaring me. Or knowing I was terrified. The bell rang and I made my way to my next class of the day.

Lucian walked in behind me. He leaned over my desk, his scent instantly surrounding me. My anxiety amped up to ten as I quietly prayed he wouldn’t notice My contacts behind my glasses. I focused on his words instead of trying to take inventory of the tattoos I could see crawling up his neck and his hands.

“This isn’t over Montgomery” he growled.

I grinned; they had been asking about who we were already. Luckily finding the alias’ we had submitted to the school. I slammed my textbook down on top of his tattooed hand he cursed as he glared down at me.

“Oops.” I said in a harsh voice. “My book just slipped.”

“You motherfucker.” He growled.

“I'm so sorry Lucian” I said sweetly batting my eyelashes. “I didn't see your hand there. You shocked me. Bless your heart you’re going to need to see the nurse.” I exaggerated my southern twang.

He growled before leaning back over me. “I've got your number; you played your hand too soon. You may be new here, but everyone has to bow to us. You’ve chosen wrong and I’m going to enjoy breaking you. I will find out everything about you and I will make you pay for this. You don’t know what you just unleashed.”

He pushed back from the desk as I smiled up at him his brown eyes flashing.

I stood up pulling my switch blade from the pocket of my pants, I leaned forward smirking when his eyes locked on my lips, and I licked them. I press the blade between us hiding it from the rest of the room as I nicked him.

I grabbed his tie and pulled him closer when he went to pull back. I could hear the chatter from other students entering the room, but my focus was on Lucian.

“You can’t break someone who has nothing to lose.” I patted his cheek causing him to growl. “But bring it on.”

I pulled the knife back slowly and showed him the tip, biting my lip my whole-body trembling with excitement, “looks like I drew first blood. Whoops.” I wiped the blade on his tie before pushing into my pocket and sitting back down. I crossed my arms across my chest and grinned.

“You're going to regret ever coming here willingly Montgomery.”

I rolled my eyes and smirked as he stomped over to the seat beside me glaring at the kid seated there until he got up. Lucian plopped down angrily and stared at me through the rest of the class. I couldn't help but smirk as I took notes. Two out of three in the first week. Breaking the Gravins was going to be easier than I had hoped.

And they still didn’t know who I was and why they was about to meet their downfall. I bite my lip and wiggle in my seat as I focus on the teacher in front of me.
