Chapter 5 ~ August And Sein

“Mr. Luca, there's Mr. August waiting for you in the living room,” came Darish's voice from outside the door.

The call from outside gave Belinda, who had been on alert for Luca, a sense of relief.

"Is he this relaxed about bothering people?" Luca asked in the Ravis group's native tongue.

“Well, at least he's my savior god for now—from this gorilla out front,” Belinda mused.

“I'll come again!” said Luca as he got off the bed and walked towards the door, until his body disappeared behind it.

“Bye, Gorilla! Don't ever come back,” Belinda complained, holding up her middle finger in annoyance.

“Gosh, I really need to escape from here soon. If I don't, the ethereal entity might harm me, Belinda grumbled, hastily making her way down the bed.

With her heart pounding in her chest, Belinda walked slowly towards the large door, as if each step could shake the tranquillity of the night surrounding her. She took hold of the cold door knob, and she was quite surprised when she realized that it was actually unlocked.

Her heart leapt for joy, as if overcome by an unexpectedly adventurous spirit. Cautiously, she poked her head out of the door and glanced around. However, it was quiet, and there was not a single Ravis creature standing guard around the door to her room.

This made Belinda begin to think that perhaps tonight was a golden opportunity for her to venture outside the boundaries that had bound her. Images of freedom and adventure began to flash through her mind, encouraging her to go further than just the doorway.

“There's no one? Did he loosen the security because he knew there was no way I could escape from here?” muttered Belinda.

Belinda took the first step out of the room; her every movement was colored by caution and deep curiosity. Her slow steps led her into a quiet hallway, where the silence was only broken by the sound of her heartbeat, which seemed to further fuel her adventurous spirit.

With a vigilant gaze, she cast her eyes around, making sure that there were no lurking threats. When another figure passed by, his sharp reflexes led him to immediately hide behind the wall, adrenaline rushing through his body. However, her burning curiosity kept her glancing around expectantly.

At the end of the hallway, as his gaze pierced through the darkness, he saw something that stunned him—a beautiful garden that opened up. Shady trees and colorful flowers seemed to adorn every corner, creating a breathtaking panorama. However, what caught Belinda's attention the most was the bright blue light emanating from the top of the garden, making it seem as if it were wrapped in magical wonder.

Shimmering streams of water surrounded the area, sharpening the impression that this garden was not just a place but a natural work of art brought to life by magic, exuding an aura of serenity and indescribable beauty. In the stillness of the garden, Belinda felt the vibrations of positive energy that seemed to invite her deeper, piquing her curiosity to explore further and discover the secrets behind this stunning beauty.

"Outside, the color of the sky is obviously not as beautiful and gorgeous as this." Was this garden made with the situation on earth in mind?” murmured Belinda.

“Isn't it very pretty?” The exclamation startled Belinda greatly. She turned to the source of the voice and found one of Ravis' men standing nearby with a wide smile.

“Who are you?” she asked with a wary look.

“So you're the human Lucas brought?” The man inquired and appeared to speak human language fluently.

“You want to pull me back to the room? Or report me to your boss?” asked Belinda with a fierce look.

“Boss? Ah, you mean the lord?” He chuckled casually. “What do you think? It's not like you can't leave this place either,” he said, which really made sense.

Belinda sighed. “I'm bored. At least let me wander around.” Belinda finally said her wish.

“It would be very dangerous for you to wander around dressed like that. The other Ravis will think you're a human who infiltrated here, and you could be killed,” she said casually.

“I think you're right. I should change my appearance,” Belinda replied.

“Then postpone your escape,” he said.

“Hm, yes.” Belinda gave a small smile. There was no way she would run away if she was caught by the strange man in front of her.

“Oh, introduce my name, Sein.” The man smiled sweetly at Belinda in front of him.

“Me, Bel,” replied Belinda, who had no intention of introducing herself with her full name.

“Oh, Bel. It turns out you have a pretty eye color, huh?” Sein moved closer, surprising Belinda, and then stepped back.

"What are you doing, Sein?" a sharp voice boomed there, causing the two figures to turn their heads towards the source of the sound. It turned out that Luca was already standing nearby, his arms folded across his chest.

“Oh, Luca. "You have such an interesting and beautiful pet," Sein said with a smile that greatly annoyed Luca.

“Especially in the eye color department—isn't it beautiful?” Sein chuckled.

“Stay away from her, Sein!” scolded Luca in a possessive tone. He walked over to Belinda and pulled her by the arm to stand behind her.

“Wow, you really like your pet,” Sein teased, still chuckling.

“I don't think I invited you here. What are you doing here, Sein?” Luca asked with emphasis.

“Me? I just stopped by and joined August to say hello,” Sein replied casually.

“You know where the living room is, don't you? Why are you hanging around here?” He asked Luca with a sharp look in his eyes, and it was obvious that Luca didn't like Sein's impudence.

“Come on, Luca. Don't get upset over trivial things; I'm not bothering your pet anyway,” Sein replied. "We happened to meet here when your pet was trying to escape," Sein responded. Isn't that right, Bel?” Sein laughed there, making Belinda feel very upset. It turned out that Ravis' group also contained similar annoying creatures.

“Bel? Wow, you guys are even acquainted,” Luca quipped, feeling very annoyed.

“Sein, what are you doing there?” asked August, who was walking towards them.

Without saying anything, Luca immediately grabbed Belinda's hand and led her away from there in annoyance.

“Sein, did you offend Luca again?” August, who was already standing near Sein, questioned him.

“No, brother. I was just greeting him,” Sein replied with a sweet smile. “Is your business here done?” asked Sein.

“Yes, we're going back now.”

“Yes, okay,” Sein replied.

Before walking away, Sein turned his head back towards Luca and Belinda with a small smile.

“Interesting,” he said.
