My mother works as a maid in the Moonstone pack , she gets to see the Moonstone leader everyday and today i will be going with her. Im eighteen and this age makes it acceptable for whoever identifies me as his mate to take me with them. I cant have that happen to me cause in just two weeks I will attend the Shapeshifters Academy and oh god am i excited, i decided to work where my mother works to earn a few bucks. I am aware that working where you mother works can be considered to be lame but I love my mother and ill be spending some working time with her. My mother is very determined to hide me until the end of my days, i dont blame cause she's been through a lot. My mother is an orange Warefox , she used to live her days happily and enjoyed her freedom but it ended when a man claimed her as his mate. The rules are once identified as someone's mate you have to live with them for the rest of your life. Other shifters aren't oppressive , in fact they dont suffer or get forced to love someone like the warewolves . Whether you are a human, warecat, warefox, warebear if a warewolf claims you as his or her mate you cannot refuse. The warewolves are the one in power because they are the majority so it is impossible to stand against them. Mother doesn't want me to end up like her thats why she makes sure i hide myself thoroughly, ill only get my freedom once im in the academy cause there no mate nonsense us allowed.

I wore a long dress that made sure to cover my cheap sneakers, it also covered my arms in fact everything was covered except for my eyes. I smelled like what would attrack flies and i couldn't help but get angry , we have to live in fear and hiding because of their so called moon goddess. Why cant they just do mate stuff with themselves and their own kind. I sighed knowing no one can stand against them, if only there existed a sun god or goddess.

We arrived at the Moonstone pack and were given permission to enter the pack leader's home , it stood out like a moon in the sky. It was huge and just before mother was going to drive in a more expensive car went past her at an alarming speed. Just as our mouths stood agape a woman no a goddess walked out of the huge house . She had long black hair that looked shiny under the sun , her eyes were gold in colour and her skin looked like honey and she wore a beautiful white dress with silver high hills. Is she the luna ? Her beautiful face expressed anger towards the expensive car. The car open and this time a gorgeous young man got out of the car wearing sunglasses. " you're late!" shouted the goddess " im here and that's all that matters" said the boy who also had black hair, i shouldn't be saying boy cause he looked big. They argued a bit then went inside, thats the thing about high rank shifters they always get the good looks. Mother is also a high rank warefox so im also a high rank fox but that's fart compared to warewolves. its just frustrating.

"alright honey are you ready for your very first job" no mom im not , not after seeing such beautiful people but of course ill have to say " you know i am, let's go rock the cleaning!"...

The inside was even better than the outside, looking at the house and the car I've just seen it can feed an entire nation. " A very good morning to you Luna of the Moonstone pack, please allow my daughter and i to begin today's work" said mother with her head down towards the beautiful goddess. " please dont ask permission, quickly make breakfast for six then begin with your work" said the Luna and we both bowed our heads while saying " yes and thank you Luna " in unison. I felt a bit irritated having to bow like this.
