What is that smell?

The inside was even better than the outside, looking at the house and the car I've just seen it can feed an entire nation. " A very good morning to you Luna of the Moonstone pack, please allow my daughter and i to begin today's work" said mother with her head down towards the beautiful goddess. " please dont ask permission, quickly make breakfast for six then begin with your work" said the Luna and we both bowed our heads while saying " yes and thank you Luna " in unison. I felt a bit irritated having to bow like this.

Mother and I started preparing the table making sure it is very mouth watering because we're aware that there must be special guests. Looking at our work made my stomach grumble and mother gave me a very stern look, I just hope it doesn't make noise when they're here. " You better shut that dark hole of yours or else we'll get in trouble. " said mother and I pouted my lips, we heard footsteps which made me to tense up a little.

I had to keep my head down at all cost but I couldn't help but peak behind my very long lashes. Next to the goddess in white was a tall handsome man wearing a simple shirt and black pants but he looked like a respectable man with an overwhelming aura , his eyes demanded your soul to kneel before him. Their son who arrived with the red car also wore casual clothes , his eyes were green and his hair styled perfectly, no model I've seen could get the courage to stand near him, handsome like his father but he had a dangerous and mischievous aura. There was also another couple , a woman with perfect blonde hair, ocean blue eyes and spotless skin. She was wearing a black dress , there was also a man with an aura no weaker than the Moonstone pack leader. Finally last but not least, a girl my age with wavy blonde her, golden eyes and a perfect body. She looked like a princess constantly batting her butterfly lashes towards the boy . I lowered my head when mother pinched my arm reminding me to not look. " urgh what is that awful smell" asked the woman with blonde hair , immediately after that question eyes fell on me and I got nervous.

" is that the scent cancelling spray? , why would someone in this pack be mated with the maid's daughter" asked the luna " I am so sorry my Luna i meant no disrespect, i only wish to protect my daughter as these situations can be unforseen" my heart broke when seeing mother bow over and over again towards the luna. " it's ok, just make sure your daughter isnt near us because the smell is very unpleasant to our kind , it forcefully blocks one of our strong senses" mother bowed again towards the pack leader. I followed behind mother who made her way upstairs, while going up the stairs i felt eyes on my back and when looking who it was my heart pounded dangerously against my chest. His green eyes were almost filled with intensity and disdain at the same time. I went up the stairs faster afraid that something terrible might happen.

We cleaned and dusted all rooms including bedrooms, living areas and bathrooms. we cleaned and maintained expensive furnitures, antiques and delicate items. Doing laundry including washing, ironing and folding clothes. We got our break after watering all the plants, i am not a fan of cleaning cause what's next? washing cars. The pay is great if you ask me , in fact mother gets thrice the income of nurses , i guess those are the perks of working for the most powerful pack in the country. To be honest im very nervous about the Shapeshifters Academy cause unlike other shifters i attended human schools and it was great there. No one wanted to intimidate you because of your kind well maybe thats because they didn't know that im a warefox either way it was fun .

It was time for us to prepare lunch and gosh it was like i never got a break to eat with how my mouth watered and stomach grumbled non stop, mother had to make me a sandwich for appeasement. With the guests gone we were only going to make lunch for three, the beautiful couple arrived alone without their son and i don't know how but I was given the job to go and tell him that his parents wanted to eat lunch with him.
