What a first day

"When you step foot through the gates of the academy, be aware that nothing will change. You are expected to show respect and absolute obedience to the almighty werewolves. Just because you won't be claimed does not give you the freedom to behave however you like. This is not the shapeshifters academy; this is the werewolves' academy, where true power reigns supreme. You have been nothing before, and you will continue to be nothing. Disregard this warning at your own peril, because there will be dire consequences for those who dare to challenge the authority of the werewolves."

Those were the words he said, making those who were brave roar, snarl at him, showing more of their ware-form, but they didn't dare to attack, it was their way of showing displeasure. Their actions made the man laugh, then his eyes turned red, causing us to step back. Those are the eyes of his wolf, and they're terrifying. He led us to the academy and no one dared to make a single sound. Entering the grounds of the academy, we saw a woman standing in front of the doors of the academy. The expression that was on her face wasn't nice. In fact, she didn't have a nice face and there was something powerful and overbearing about her. So far we've been encountering scary people and I don't think it'll be nice staying at this Academy.

"Miss Vavlory told me that you threatened to gut her and feed her to the sharks if she did not allow you to do what I asked of her. I hope you made a mistake otherwise -" the man in black rudely interrupted her. " I also didn't want to waste my time attending these things, but I was ordered by the almighty warewolf leaders to tell them a very important message" after saying that with so much pride the woman walked towards him to stand in front of his face. "Otherwise Rodrous I'll have you out of my academy and I do not care what the wolves say because they don't have a say in my academy, interrupt me again and there will be consequences" she didn't care about what he said and feared no warewolves, she wanted her word to be final. I saw Rodrous nod his head. We all looked at her with shining eyes. Being able to stand up to a scary person like Rodrous is amazing. We all followed behind her as she gave us a tour of the academy. There was the cafeteria, library and more. The very same girl I sat next to on the train was my roommate. I'm just glad she is not a warewolf because, again, that would be a nightmare.

" Hi, my name is Dintle. Sorry if I offended you on the train. I was just being weird. I've never been surrounded by that many shape-shifters before. " I was so happy when I heard her ask "human school?" I nodded, replying. " Let me guess you're the type that even bothered to wear the scent canceling spray? " How did she know that? " Yeah, my mom is very over-protective of me. " She smiled and introduced herself her name is Sera, and she's a ware-cat which looks obvious. Sera went to a high school for shape-shifters and there is a lot of work compared to human schools because they don't just learn English, math. There are other subjects focusing on shape, shifting stuff, so they had a total of seventeen subjects. Shape-shifters live different lives from humans. For example, humans finish high school, it's college or work, but we're here to learn more about ourselves and our place in the current world.

There were two beds and I took one by the window. We had two separate drawers for our clothes, one near her bed and one near mine, each having a total of five lined up drawers. The walls were gray, and the windows were big, allowing those who wish for suicide to freely jump. On our beds though, there was a paper and when I picked it up I wondered which era it belonged to because it was brown, but it was actually my timetable.

Day timetable:

7:00am-8:00am: Breakfast

8:00am-9:00am: Shifting

9:00am-10:00am: communication

10:00am-10:30am:break

10:30am-11:30am: History

11:30am-12:30pm:study period

12:30pm-1:30pm: lunch break

1:30pm-2:30pm: shifting practice

2:30pm-3:30pm: communication

3:30pm-4:30pm: break

4:00pm-5:00pm: History

5:00pm-6:00pm: CANINE CLASS

6:15pm-7:00pm-dinner

9:00pm:Curfew

Sera was also checking hers and to be honest it's a lot. It looks so strict, and why are the breaks so short? One lesson is one hour? Also, something I don't understand is what a canine class is? I stopped stressing about it and began unpacking. I found the uniforms in one of the drawers. There was a small paper that said' if you are a boy, return the girl's uniform and if you are a girl, return the boy's uniform '. A black mid-thigh skirt, black see-through pantyhose and short socks that were white, meaning you can choose to wear the skirt with white socks or black pantyhose. There was also a long white sleeve and short sleeve shirt with a black tie and a black blazer. They sure liked black, but there was another one, a long white shirt, black pants and a blazer. I'm definitely aware that it's a uniform for boys, but I knew I was definitely going to wear it.

Next day...

It was morning. Normally I hate mornings, but not today. I was so excited that it felt like the encounter with that scary Rodrous guy never happened. I was definitely not going to allow a smelly dog, whether terrifying or not, to ruin my life here. Sera and I went to the dining hall to have breakfast and as we made our way there I saw how other bold students were creative with their uniforms and the teachers didn't seem to care. We arrived in the dining hall, and it was packed. It's very evident that the warewolves aren't the coolest when it comes to showing off their ware forms. We sat at a random table that had three other girls who looked like the world and life itself was a waster of time, so that's why we didn't bother to greet them. There was chatter and liveliness, but it died all of a sudden. I think it was an important person or teacher who walked in but when I looked at the entrance I froze, unable to believe who it was.
