First Time I

"He kissed you?" Peter asked, not at all surprised because he knew that that was where her story was headed.

"Yes, he did. It took me by surprise. I hadn't expected it at all because he was always so sweet with me but there's nothing sweet about the way he kissed me that night, the way he held me and he looked at me. I felt like I was in the clutches of a beast that wanted to devour me," Sharon answered.

"So, what did you do?" Peter wondered.

"I pushed him away. I didn't do it because I was disgusted by him or anything like that. I pushed him away by instinct. It felt wrong because he had known me since I was little and for many years, I looked at him like a father, you know? I never once imagined anything romantic or physical with him so I felt very uncomfortable.

"And after that, I ran off and abandoned my own birthday party," she finished.

Peter later took Sharon to the creek up the mountain that he had told her about. As soon as they got there and Sharon set her eyes on the pool of water, she was completely hypnotized by the beauty of it all.

The water was pure and transparent, revealing quite clearly the base of the creek. It was filled with corals and shells, with clean green colour emitting from the depths.

She quickly started taking off her clothes so she could go in but later stopped when she remembered that Peter was standing right next to her.

Colour quickly crept onto her cheeks and he made an excuse to look away so she could disrobe.

With his back turned, Peter heard the splash of water and finally turned around. Sharon was in the pool swimming around and she yelled at him to get in.

"I'm coming, I'm coming," Peter said and took off his clothes with his drawers the only piece of clothing left on.

He jumped in as well and they swam together. They splashed water on each other and laughed happily.

After a while, they stopped playing. Peter looked at her and she at him. He moved closer to her and touched her face.

He caressed her cheek with his fingers and this made her shudder. It didn't matter if he hadn't been with a woman since his wife's death, he couldn't deny his attraction to Sharon.

He hadn't let himself get close to anyone since but she made him feel things, wonderful things and now, he couldn't help, but let himself feel these things.

She floated, still and motionless, and let him play with her hair and bask in her beauty, soaking in the sweetest of her fragrance and the smoothness of her skin.

Peter didn't utter a word. He just kept looking at her. He leaned in for a kiss but as he got closer, he hesitated.

"Go on," Sharon said to him, giving him her approval.

Their lips locked and it sent chills through Peter's spine. She was as sweet as he had imagined.

He could feel his arousal harden, something he hadn't felt in a long time. This woman had truly awoken something within him; the desire for passion and the hunger for intimacy.

He explored her mouth with his tongue and she let him.

She was relishing this moment as much as he was. Never in her life had she felt so safe with a man and wanted him to kiss her. Her first kiss had been forcefully taken by a man she didn't love and wasn't attracted to but Peter was different.

She wasn't sure what she was feeling but she couldn't deny that it was strong and real.

Peter raised his hands and touched her waist and then grabbed it. He moved his hands higher to the base of her bosom. He didn't know if he was going too fast so he stopped and she noticed.

"It's okay, Peter. You can touch me if you want,"

"I do want to. It's just..."

"Nothing. There's nothing wrong with what's going on here. I want to and I know you want to," Sharon said.

"You just told me about how Addicus acted with you and how he forced himself on you and I just don't want to bring back those memories," Peter said.

"Wait, you don't think he raped me, do you?" She asked with a mocking smile.

"Didn't he?"

"He did try but I didn't let him and I didn't let anyone else...ever,"

"So, you are still..,"

"Yes, Peter. I'm still a virgin," she blushed as she admitted this to him.

"With everything you've told me, I thought that, well, I assumed that..." he stammered.

"No one has ever touched me, okay? I escaped Addicus and I was always running from him so I never met anyone. I never fell in love, never courted anyone, never gave myself the chance," she said.

"I'm sorry about that, Sharon, I truly am," Peter felt empathetic.

"Don't be sorry. I would have never met you if things didn't happen the way they did. A lot of it was terrible but this is the part that I'm grateful for,"

Peter was astounded by her strength and courage. He leaned in and kissed her again. They continued their sweet and intense kissing which was a preview of an impending night of passionate lovemaking still to come.

"Are you sure you want to do this?" Peter asked her.
