Chapter 4
Kimberly almost reacted instinctively, her face full of terror as she tried to push the person away.
As she tried to dodge, her stiletto heel twisted, and she nearly fell.
A hand reached out, wrapped around her waist, and pulled her back.
Kimberly's face pressed against the man's warm chest again, and then a familiar male voice rumbled from above her head.
"What are you doing, so panicked?"
"Vincent?" Kimberly looked up, genuinely surprised.
What was he doing here?
That night, didn't he have a falling out with Louis?
On second thought, it made sense. He and Louis had been friends since childhood; how could they have a conflict because of her?
Vincent looked at her, then glanced at Louis, who was holding his new girlfriend with a sullen face, and his eyes turned slightly cold.
"Here to see him?"
Kimberly shook her head, "No, I was just passing by."
Before she could finish speaking, there was a sudden banging on the door outside the private room, "Kimberly, come out, I know you're in there."
Vincent clearly felt the person in his arms tremble.
He squinted at the door and reached out to open it.
"Don't!" Kimberly instinctively grabbed his wrist, looking at him with pleading eyes.
Vincent brushed her hand away and still opened the door.
Kimberly closed her eyes in despair.
The door opened just a crack, revealing Vincent's cold and displeased face.
Daniel, who was banging on the door, was stunned, then looked terrified, "Mr. Watson!"
"What's the matter?" Vincent's voice was cold, with a hint of threat.
Daniel frantically shook his head, "Nothing, I got the wrong room! Sorry, Mr. Watson, I'll leave right away!"
With that, he turned and ran without looking back!
Inside the room, hearing Daniel leave, Kimberly breathed a sigh of relief and looked up at Vincent.
But Vincent walked straight past her without even looking at her.
"You can go now." His tone was very indifferent, as if they didn't know each other at all.
Kimberly's gaze paused, then she smiled knowingly.
She knew that to someone like him, she was just a plaything.
Maybe not even that.
These days, Kimberly hadn't contacted Vincent or looked for him, guessing that what he said that day was just a joke.
She didn't dare take it seriously, waiting for him to give her more confirmation.
Unfortunately, in the end, she realized she was overthinking it.
What Vincent said in bed was indeed not to be trusted.
Especially someone like Vincent, who had no shortage of women around him, many of whom were more beautiful and had better figures than her. How could she be worthy of his attention?
Kimberly self-mockingly tugged at the corner of her mouth and turned to leave.
Outside, Daniel was indeed nowhere to be seen. Kimberly walked to the window, intending to cool off in the breeze.
There was a small platform outside the window. Kimberly stepped onto it and stood at the edge.
One more step, and she could fall.
This was the second floor, so even if she fell, she wouldn't die.
But Kimberly had no intention of committing suicide. She was just standing there, tentatively lifting her foot, looking as if she was about to jump.
Suddenly, her wrist was grabbed, and a strong force pulled her back, throwing her against a wall.
Her shoulder hit the hard wall, causing Kimberly to frown in pain.
"What, seeing him with a new girlfriend makes you want to die? Too bad even if you jump from here, you won't die."
The mixed scent of tobacco and cool mint wafted over. Kimberly looked up and met Vincent's extremely cold eyes.
Kimberly was stunned, "Why is it you?"
Wasn't he supposed to be with Louis and their friends? How did he end up here?
"What, disappointed to see it's me?"
Kimberly shook her head, wanting to say something, but Daniel's voice sounded outside.
"Miss Sanchez? Stop hiding, I saw you go to the small platform. If you don't come out, I'll come up and get you!"
The lewd and disgusting voice made Kimberly's face turn pale, and she instinctively hid in Vincent's arms.
Kimberly hadn't expected that, scared by Vincent, Daniel hadn't run far and was still nearby.
Seeing Kimberly come out, he immediately followed.
Just a moment ago, she was terrified and trying to push him away, and now she was throwing herself into his arms?
Vincent looked at Kimberly, who was like a frightened rabbit, and raised an eyebrow.
Kimberly being sold to the Knight Family as a marriage tool, with the Knight Family desperately trying to use her face to climb the social ladder, was a joke in their circle.
But knowing was one thing, helping was another.
Kimberly saw his look of amusement and felt her heart turn cold. She knew that if she didn't ask for help, Vincent wouldn't step in.
Maybe even if she asked, he wouldn't help.
But now she had no other choice; Vincent was her only way out.
Kimberly bit her lower lip and pleaded humbly, "Please, can you help me get rid of the person outside?"
Her tone was almost humble, and the humiliation made her clench her hands tightly.
"Remember me when you need help. Do I look like someone who enjoys helping others?"
Kimberly was stunned for a moment, then thought carefully about his words and understood the hidden meaning.
Vincent was hinting that he was angry because she hadn't contacted him these past few days?
Why?
Kimberly being obedient and not bothering him should be a good thing for Vincent, right?
"I thought you preferred girls who understood boundaries!"
Kimberly's watery eyes showed a bit of guilt and helplessness. One hand clutched the hem of his shirt, while the other climbed up to his chest, her fingertips lightly scratching a certain spot.
She could feel Vincent's body suddenly stiffen, and even his breathing became erratic.
Vincent's eyes were filled with naked desire. Remembering how he had almost died on her that night, Kimberly thought he probably liked her body.
If that was the case, she might know how to get him to help.
Kimberly stood on tiptoe and kissed him directly.
The moment their lips touched, she felt the hand around her waist tighten.
Kimberly's eyes gleamed with triumph, and her lips curled up.
It seemed she had bet right!
Kimberly's kissing skills were not great, and it felt terrible.
But her lips were very soft, her waist slender and flexible, and her neck long and inviting to kiss.
When she tilted her head back, it formed an almost seductive curve.
Vincent's breathing suddenly became heavy, and he grabbed her waist, lifting her to sit on the railing.
Vincent was very tall, and with Kimberly sitting on the railing, her legs could just wrap around his waist.
She spread her legs, pressing her body against his, feeling his hot, iron-like organ against her lower abdomen. Kimberly let out a coquettish laugh.
"Who would have thought that the supposedly ascetic Mr. Watson would be like this."
Before she could finish her sentence, Vincent covered her lips.
One hand gripped her waist, while the other reached under her skirt.
"You, on the other hand, are just as the rumors say, very easy to get lonely!"
