The blondie turned around at once and looked at me. "I'm so sorry, miss. I'm really am." He then looked at Leo who gave him a little nod before returning his eyes back to the shiny elevator doors. Now that I was somehow in the corner, Leo moved himself to the left of me, smiling wide like he just won a game of poker and earned a million bucks. He slowly intertwines his hand with mine and leans his head against the wall. The doors swooshed open letting us all out.

"Get to it," Leo glared at the man, making him scurry hastily to the stairwell.

"Was that necessary?" I laugh and look at him.

"He dared to look at you. Be glad I didn't snap his neck in there," he said with a hint of anger in his voice and continued escorting me down a long, never ending hall. My converse thudded on the polished marble floor where I could clearly see my face. This floor was eerily quite with just a few lads surrounded around the counter when we exited the elevator.

"I need to use the Ladies' room before we go in," I stop and look at the restroom.

"Sure," he says and follows me towards it, but luckily doesn't come in with me.

I walked into the empty bathroom and my hands immediately grip the long counter before my legs gave out. I was going to see Astor today for the first time after Leo's party. Leo proposed an idea since Astor was a friend and ally to his family, they should talk and strike a deal so that he doesn't hurt Aunt Wendy or Ashton in order to get to me and start a bloody war between the Bonferronis and Aguillards that would definitely result in massive casualties and innocent lives lost in the crossfire of it. I couldn't let people die because of me and I definitely couldn't risk Aunt Wendy and Ashton at any cost. They are my only family and the thought of something happening to them shakes me to my core, but I also want Astor to pay for what he did so that he doesn't do it to anyone else and put any other girl under the horrendous experience.

I agreed to it without a second thought, but then Leo assured me that he would humor Astor and let him think that the deal is on when in reality Leo is setting a trap for him and at the right time he'll take him down like a tiger. That was what I was clinging to with all my might. I can't let him get away with what he did to me and Leo won't either. He will always protect me with his life for which I trust him with mine. He holds the strings to my life in his hands and could unravel me anytime.

Letting out a shaky breath, I look at myself and whip my hair back. My eyes fall on the beautiful piece of jewelry Leo gave me. It wasn't a diamond but it wasn't any less either. It was priceless and will always be close to my heart because it came from the man that stood right out of that door, the man who stole my heart like a little thief, the man who I trusted with my life, and the man who I'm in love with.

I pull myself out of my thoughts when my hands begin to hurt slightly, turning my knuckles to a sick white shade. I shake my hands and regain the blood flow. Turning on my heel, I proceed towards the door and open it to find a woman talking to Leo with her back towards me.

Leo smiles lightly when he sees me. "Belle," he refers to the woman who wore a black dress that ended right above her knees with her dark hair flowing down a little past her shoulders, "meet Arie Noelle."

The woman turned around swiftly with a small smile lingering on her face as her ocean blue eyes looked into mine. My heart almost bounced out of my heart as my brows furrowed in absolute confusion and shock to see this woman here. "Arabelle?"

"Hello, Arie!" She spoke softly as she walked closer to me. "It's good to see you."

Dumbfounded, I shake my head and look at her. "What are you doing here?"

"How do you know her?" Leo queried as he looked between the two of us.

"I think it's about time you found out," she puts her hands forth with intentions to shake mine, "I'm not Arabelle Leon. My name is Arabelle Aguillard. I'm Astor's wife and I'm really sorry for what he did to you."

The conference room was constricting on me as I leaned back into the black leathered rolling chair, glaring at the woman sitting across from Leo. The lights from the ceiling downed upon her, portraying her like an angel but her voice shoved needles through my eardrums, making them bleed as she talked to Leo about god knows what because I was too busy killing her in different ways in my mind.

My blood continued to flare slowly, filling up the steam in the pot that was about to blow any moment to hit her square in the jaw. The temptation to pick up one of the other eleven unoccupied chairs in the room and swing it at this bitch for what she did to my brother was reaching for the sky. She prevented eye contact with me after she dropped the bomb and now she's sitting here like everything is right in the world.

My sick plots were interrupted by the man that walked in through the door on the far right corner of the room. "Sorry for the delay. I was getting the papers ready," said the bald man with a red file pressed between his beer belly and left arm. He pivoted around Arabelle's side and took the head seat on the left end of the table. My eyes fall on the Arabelle's bodyguard that stood against the wall right behind her with his hands knotted in front of his crotch.

"You better be," Leo snarled at the bald man. "You'll be in the grave for wasting my time. So you better speak up and tell me where Astor is?"

"Leo, please!" Arabelle calmly raised her brows at him, shooting him a warning glare.

Leo rolled his eyes and turned his attention back to the gray suited man. "Well, speak up already."

"Okay," the man opened up the file and slid two sets of documents our way and one Arabelle's. "Mr. Aguillard will not make it in today, so I'll be discussing the clauses with you and add some if you want." Well, this is just brilliant. We came all the way here to meet his pesky little ass-kisser?

"Is this a bloody joke?" Leo's hand flung and hit the large rectangular mahogany table with rage, vibrating my hands that laid on top. "We came to talk to him, not his fucking pets. I could have sent my men to do the deal as well."

"Mr. Bonferroni, please just listen to the deal and we'll talk. If you agree then the boss will come in."

Leo turned his furious gaze into Arabelle's direction who looked completely dumbfounded and just as shocked as us. "Did you know about this?" His voice ripped through the room with seething anger compelling me to jump a little in my seat.
