Chapter 1 Cornered by My Brother Alone in the Attic
Anna Hilda's POV
Up in the attic's tiny storage room, I slipped into my cheerleading uniform. It was the only spot where the men in my host family and their servants wouldn't easily find me.
In the dim light, I pulled on the black, tight crop top that made my figure look way curvier than usual. The matching short skirt had this funky leg garter underneath.
I grabbed my pom-poms, took a few deep breaths, and started practicing my moves in front of the old mirror.
Our cheerleading coach wanted us to practice at home for at least a week before the football game, but today was the only chance I had since I was usually busy helping the maids.
I didn't want to mess up in front of my teammates, especially since my boyfriend, Danial Waston, was the quarterback. I promised I'd cheer him on properly.
Thinking about Danial made me smile.
"What are you doing here?" That voice, as smooth as a cello, sounded like thunder to me.
I spun around and saw Isaac Allen.
The Allen family's three sons were triplets, and Isaac was the eldest. He was the political prodigy, winning awards left and right and always in the media spotlight.
And me? I was just the daughter of the current Alpha's mistress, a stain on their perfect family.
"Sorry, Mr. Allen, I'll get back to work right away." I bowed slightly and tried to leave the room.
But just as I was about to step out, he grabbed my wrist and slammed me against the door, making it shut with a bang.
"Dressed like this, are you trying to disgrace the family?" Isaac's usually handsome face was now dark and terrifying.
His blue-gray eyes bore into me, his nose high and straight. He had the looks of a god but the heart of a devil.
Isaac was the captain of the football team and a top student, one of the most popular guys at school.
I had seen tons of pretty girls give him love letters, hoping for a chance to date him, but he turned them all down.
As the eldest son of the Alpha of the Silvermoon Pack, Isaac cared most about the family's reputation, unlike his brother Nick Allen, the notorious playboy. But I knew it was all a facade; Nick was a devil at heart too.
"Mr. Allen, this is the school's cheerleading uniform," I quickly explained.
But Isaac didn't listen. His hand covered my already tight leg garter, squeezing my thigh as if trying to rip it off. His fingers hooked onto it, making my heart race. With Isaac's hands pressing down, my legs were being kneaded and twisted, which gave me an inexplicable sense of guilt.
"Please let go of me!" I flinched. His calloused hand, from years of fencing practice, left red marks on my leg, and the slight pain made me let out a soft moan.
Isaac impatiently tore off the leg garter. Since the skirt had hidden connections to keep the garter from falling off during cheerleading, the skirt got torn too.
I covered the torn part of my skirt, my nose stinging as I held back tears.
His breathing grew heavier as he looked down at me, his voice commanding and forceful, "Quit the cheerleading team by tomorrow."
I bit my lip. This kind of bullying had happened countless times since I came to stay here. But I had no way to escape.
My mom was seriously ill, and I was staying with them to save on college accommodation costs.
Right now, my mom's medical expenses were also being paid by his father.
I traveled alone for over thirty hours by train to meet the Alpha, who was said to be my biological father, only to find that his three sons gave me the most terrifying nightmares.
In my freshman year, many people, following their orders, bullied me relentlessly and beat me for fun.
The cheerleading team was the only place where I could talk to others. Many members came from well-off families and weren't easily manipulated.
Besides them and my boyfriend Danial, everyone else made me feel scared.
After I joined the cheerleading team, thanks to the teacher's watchful eye and my boyfriend's protection, at least when they hit me, they wouldn't leave as many bruises.
But now, Isaac asked me to quit the team.
For the past six months, I had been slowly forgetting how to resist, and now I just couldn't hold back anymore, "Mr. Allen, I'm sorry, I don't want to quit the cheerleading team. I'll do anything you ask."
Isaac, rarely defied, angrily kicked the pile of clutter at his feet, causing many items to fall and crash loudly.
With each sound, I couldn't help but tremble. Even though I was already backed into a corner, I wanted to retreat further, fearing that his fist would land on me at any moment.
Isaac, however, didn't care and glanced at me. His gaze, like a hunter silently observing his prey, made me shiver. "Do you really think a little sincerity can fix the mess you've made for the family?" He let out a short, cold laugh.
Actually, they were hiding my relationship with the Allen family from the outside world, and others just thought I had offended them. Now, he was just looking for an excuse to torment me.
At this moment, I noticed something on the ground not far away. It was a cat ear headband that had rolled down from a high place. Isaac had given it to me a few months ago, and I had placed it in the storage room.
"Put this on and serve me until I calm down." Isaac ordered, pointing to the headband on the ground.
I read online that psychologists believed extremely self-disciplined and self-suppressing people often had twisted personalities. I always felt Isaac might be one of them. I had never seen a woman approach him, so I guessed he might have a physical ailment affecting his sexual abilities, which surely darkened his mind further.
I lowered my head, picked up the headband, and put it on my head, asking, "Sorry, Mr. Allen, what do I need to do to earn your forgiveness? Please tell me."
I instinctively thought that since he was impotent and I was his half-sister, he wouldn't do anything to me.
But I didn't expect that the always calm Isaac seemed to be amused by my remarks. He sneered, "Do you also think I'm a pervert with a tendency for bestiality? Do you believe everything that bastard Nick says?"
It took me a moment to react, and my expression suddenly changed as I got flustered.
At that time, I had just arrived and couldn't tell the Allen brothers apart. No wonder Isaac seemed different; he claimed to be Isaac, but it was actually his brother Nick.
Judging by Isaac's practiced reaction, Nick had probably pulled this prank before.
At this moment, I felt very troubled. Isaac must think that I followed Nick's suggestion, trying to seduce him by any means, even imitating bestiality.
So I hurriedly explained, "No, I didn't know it was him..."
Isaac's face tightened with restrained anger as he pushed me away in disgust.
I stumbled into the clutter on the ground, something sharp piercing my knee. I nearly cried out from the pain. Blood trickled down my leg, but I ignored the glass shards digging into my flesh.
I limped a few steps forward, keeping my distance from Isaac. With a shaky voice, I said, "Mr. Allen, I want to go to the medical room to bandage myself."
I yearned for even a brief moment of peace to curl up and soothe myself.
But I didn't expect that after staring at my current state for a few seconds, Isaac picked me up horizontally. His muscular arms easily lifted me, his chest as solid as iron.
I could feel his body temperature rising. My lower back and calves were pressed against his arms, occasionally rubbing together. The scorching heat was almost melting me.
Isaac seemed to notice my curious gaze and met my eyes. He stared at me, and I didn't dare to look away, his gaze stripping me naked, my breath quickening.
Isaac had an obsession with cleanliness. He never let anyone into his bedroom and even cleaned it himself.
At this moment, he threw me onto his Sealy bed, pulled the heavy dark gray curtains, and locked the bedroom door.
Accompanied by the sound of fabric tearing and his large hands sliding over my skin, my skirt completely split and fell from my waist.
At this moment, I infinitely regretted not making love with Danial.
