Chapter 7 Handcuffed to the Bedside
Anna's POV
"Alright, it's settled. You get a week off. Just relax." Nick adjusted my seatbelt.
"Thanks, but I'm really okay."
Before I could say more, he spun the Ferrari's steering wheel and floored it, speeding off.
The city blurred past the windows, like we were leaving everything behind.
Just like the rumors said, Nick never drove slow. I heard he used to be a professional race car driver.
In the rain, neon lights flashed by. If his driving was in a movie, it would be a blockbuster.
"If you need to cry, just cry." Nick glanced at me in the rearview mirror.
I forced a smile. "No, I don't want to cry."
I wouldn't cry in front of the Allens, begging for their fake sympathy, even though my eyes were burning and my nose was stinging.
Nick must've sensed my resistance; he looked a bit annoyed.
"We're at the hospital." Nick stopped the car at the entrance.
I got out and went inside.
When I left the hospital after getting my wounds treated, I thought Nick would be gone, but his Ferrari was still parked by the road.
Once I got in the car, I started coughing violently, so Nick put out his cigarette. He glanced at my bandages and asked, "Do you hate me, Anna? But a girl like you would be bullied by others even if it wasn't us."
"I don't hate anyone." I shook my head, tears finally welling up. Turned out, the bullies never thought they were wrong. Then I fell silent, not knowing what to say.
Nick seemed even more irritated. He took a sharp turn, and after a few minutes, the car suddenly stopped. He dragged me into a fancy hotel.
At first, I thought he had some business to attend to, but then a stunning woman with a hot figure approached us. "Nick, why are you so late? Who's this?"
She looked at my bandaged face in surprise. Although the swelling had gone down after the doctor applied medication and cold compresses, the medical tape on my forehead was still obvious.
Nick had already wrapped his arm around her slim waist. "A maid. She got hurt."
I didn't expect that Nick had plans with someone, and it turned out to be such a gorgeous woman. Before I could react, Nick handcuffed me in the room.
"Learn this. Women need to be obedient to be liked." Nick's voice sounded in my ear.
Seeing them kiss passionately, I realized what might happen next in the room.
"Nick, please, take me home!" I stood up quickly, causing the chair connected to the handcuffs to wobble and hit my back.
Nick, half-undressed, initially ignored me.
But I gasped in pain from the impact and couldn't stand up for a while. My wrist throbbed from the handcuffs.
I was considering how not to kneel on the ground when Nick suddenly unlocked the handcuffs and picked me up. As he held me, his hot erection pressed against my body.
My face flushed, and I clung to his neck, trying to avoid the awkwardness.
But Nick seemed to misunderstand my intention and held me even tighter. He ignored the woman's pleas behind him and carried me all the way to the car.
I was thrown onto the driver's seat, and just as I sat up, Nick suddenly pinned me against the steering wheel. I tried to struggle, but he grabbed my wrist. "Be good, Anna, don't make me have sex with you here."
I knew I had interrupted Nick and the beautiful woman, but when he leaned down to kiss my face, I still dodged.
His lips brushed my neck, making me shiver. He bit my collarbone hard before letting me go.
He made me sit on his lap, and I could feel his body getting hotter. He started the car.
The car sped dangerously fast, almost crashing into the guardrail ahead.
I couldn't help but shout, "Watch out!"
But Nick swerved left just in time, missing the guardrail by inches.
My heart pounded, and then I heard Nick's voice above me. "Kiss me, or next time we might not be so lucky."
I clenched my fists, remembering how he almost made me watch him have sex with someone else. Nick, this madman, might really do it.
I placed my hand on his face, then slowly leaned in and kissed his chin before quickly pulling away.
But the Ferrari suddenly braked hard, and Nick pressed my head down, leaning over me.
His tongue tangled with mine. He was a great kisser, making me dizzy, and I couldn't help but moan.
His eyes were filled with intense possessiveness, but he suddenly let me go. "I really can't hold back."
Nick had been holding me to keep balance in the car. When he let go, I instinctively grabbed his neck to stay balanced.
Every time I got hurt, I was especially afraid of pain.
Unexpectedly, he pressed down on me again, prying open my teeth and tangling with me once more.
I grabbed his tie with one hand. Initially hesitant, I soon began to respond passively. As I started to cooperate, the pleasure in my body soared, intensifying with our movements.
When my body reached its limit, Nick released me and held me in his arms, breathing deeply.
My body felt electrified, and I finally understood why so many girls were infatuated with Nick.
When I looked up, Nick gazed at me. After a second, we kissed again.
My reason resisted, but my body instinctively obeyed Nick.
"Is it okay?" Nick asked in my ear, his magnetic voice almost bewitching.
"No." I refused with the last bit of my rationality.
Nick wasn't angry. He held me in his arms. The friction and embrace made me acutely aware of his desire to make love to me, and my body mirrored his feelings.
When we stopped, I realized we had arrived at the estate. When the door opened, I panicked a bit.
Inside, Isaac was sitting on a long bench, looking like he'd been waiting for a long time. His gaze moved from my slightly swollen lips to the red mark on my collarbone, then to Nick, whose clothes were a bit disheveled.
"Did you have sex with Nick?" Isaac's voice was as cold as ice, making me scared. Thinking about what happened with Nick, my face couldn't help but flush.
"Isaac, yes." Nick answered first.
I was stunned, not knowing why Nick would say that.
Isaac grabbed my wrist, noticing the handcuff marks, and his face darkened.
"Come with me," he ordered.
I looked at Isaac. "Will you make Tina apologize to me?"
Isaac seemed to consider for a few seconds, then looked at me arrogantly. "I'll make whoever offended you apologize, but Tina is different from you."
For some reason, my heart felt like it was being squeezed, the suffocation growing stronger.
Indeed, I had nothing to compare with the popular and top student Tina.
I looked at Nick, who held my hand in front of Isaac and mocked, "Isaac, you see, Anna doesn't want to go with you."
Isaac, always proud, looked at me like I was something dirty, then turned and left.
"Sorry about today." Nick pushed the foie gras on the table towards me, his eyes filled with guilt.
I sighed and lowered my head. "It's okay, I should be thanking you. I'm used to bad luck anyway. Thank you for speaking up for Danial and preserving his reputation, which was already bad enough because of me."
Danial already had strained relationships with many classmates because of me. Publicly doubting him might make his situation even more difficult.
"Thanking me for that? How silly," Nick suddenly laughed. "Do you like Danial that much? Aren't you afraid Isaac will kill him?"
