Chapter 8 Being Forcefully Kissed in the Locker Room
Anna's POV
"Danial's birthday is coming up, and he mentioned he hopes we can get intimate on his special day," I told Nick. "I'm going to come clean to Danial. If he still wants me, I want to be with him every day at school. Isaac's going to hate me for this; he already does."
Nick flashed a charming smile. "What if Danial turns you down?"
I took a bite of pineapple and said, "If Isaac tries to hurt Danial, he'll have to go through me first. I'll protect Danial."
Nick looked at me like he was seeing me for the first time. "You don't get Isaac's ways. My brother's not a good guy. You think he bullied you, but he hasn't really done anything yet."
Nick's words caught me off guard. I started to regret those weird moments with Isaac. I lowered my head, my expression serious. "Anyway, I'll protect the one I love. Even if I have to leave him for a bit, it's fine."
The next day at school, the teacher was already in the classroom, helping students with questions.
When class ended, someone "accidentally" bumped into my desk, scattering my books all over the floor. A few passing students stepped on them, leaving dirty footprints.
As I bent down to pick them up, a boy deliberately ran over and knocked my head.
The teacher had left, and the students started making a commotion.
"Some people are so desperate, trying to get with Isaac. Have you seen the photos of her getting beat up? They're all over the school!"
"So many photos? She totally deserves it!"
I was dizzy from the bump, and seeing them pass around the photos made me feel even worse.
I just focused on picking up my books and notebooks from the floor. One of the notebooks had been borrowed by a female classmate, and when it was returned, it was covered in the word "bitch." But I still had to use it because I didn't have extra money to buy a new one.
"It was an accident!" A boy stepped on my bandaged hand, pressing down hard, and apologized with a fake smile.
I was in so much pain that I couldn't speak. At that moment, someone hurried to my side.
Danial had somehow come to our classroom and helped me up with concern. "Anna, are you okay? I'll take you to the infirmary."
I rubbed my wet eyes and shook my head. "No, the next class is P.E. I've already missed it twice, and if I miss it again, I won't get the credits."
Danial quickly helped me gather my books, arranging them neatly and cleaning the covers as much as possible.
"We don't have class next period. I'll go with you," he said, looking at me worriedly.
Danial was familiar with the P.E. teachers and had accompanied me to P.E. class before, so it shouldn't be a problem this time.
He wiped the tears from my face, and I smiled at him.
For P.E., I had chosen basketball. In this class, students from different classes who had chosen basketball often attended together.
But I didn't expect to run into Isaac's class.
The students were gathered around the teacher, who was explaining how to dribble, and Danial and I were watching too.
Danial whispered in my ear, "This step is hard for beginners to understand. I'll practice with you a few times, and you'll get it."
I looked at Danial with gratitude. He was really good to me, the best person in the world.
"Isaac, why don't you demonstrate for everyone?" The teacher suggested, looking at Isaac, the school's famous sports star.
It had rained last night, and there were many puddles on the basketball court.
In everyone's surprised eyes, the basketball slipped from Isaac's hand, hit a puddle, and then landed on me.
I was already standing closest to the puddle, and the basketball splashed a ton of dirty water all over me.
When it was time for everyone to practice freely, the P.E. teacher noticed my bandages and pulled me aside, saying, "Anna, go change into a clean sports uniform, or your wounds might get infected."
Danial saw I was upset and wanted to come with me, but I squeezed his hand, reassuring him, "Danial, I'm fine, don't worry."
At this elite university, everyone had a spare set of uniforms in their lockers, including sports gear.
I grabbed my sports uniform and headed to the locker room. After drying off and changing into the new one, I unlocked the door to leave and bumped into someone.
I rubbed my forehead. This overly muscular chest felt familiar.
"Isaac."
As soon as I said his name, he pulled me into the room.
He grabbed my arm and pinned me against the door. "Why did you try to seduce Nick after failing with Sam? Just because Sam is Tina's suitor and you're jealous of her?" he questioned.
I was stunned. I knew the name Sam; I had asked Jane about him yesterday. The pervert who almost broke my finger to assault me was named Sam. To stop me from resisting, he had dislocated two of my right-hand knuckles.
I looked at Isaac in surprise. "Sam said I seduced him?"
"Tina said it. Sam went home early yesterday. She also showed me the messages where you and your cheerleading teammates insulted her," Isaac replied coldly.
I couldn't help but laugh in anger. Sam was truly a shameless coward. He left early out of guilt but didn't forget to have his friends lie for him.
I tried to open the door to leave. "Go ask Nick if I seduced Sam. I'm not who you think I am, but whatever!"
"I will ask," Isaac said, but he still wouldn't let me go.
I was afraid someone would see us both in the locker room, so I pushed him hard. "What do you want? Yes, you love Tina, and I'm jealous of her. Does saying that make you and Tina happy?"
But Isaac grabbed my hand and pressed it to his chest, silencing my words with a kiss. He seemed inexperienced, tentatively prying my lips open and going deeper gradually.
Isaac tried various ways to arouse my desire, but when I looked into his blue-gray eyes and handsome face, all I felt was hatred.
This seemed to spark Isaac's need to dominate. He forced our fingers to intertwine, pressing me against the old door. He quickly learned how to make my body respond.
I was both ashamed and angry, so I fought to control the kiss. Neither of us gave in, making it more intense.
Just then, someone knocked on the door and shouted, "Who's been in the locker room for so long? Hurry up, there are so many people waiting!"
I was mortified. If people saw me and Isaac coming out of the locker room together, it would be over.
"Come here." Isaac draped his school jacket over my head, covering my face.
As soon as we stepped out, I heard the students teasing, "Isaac actually found a girl he likes!"
"I wonder how beautiful she is!"
I clung to his jacket, letting him lead me away.
We ran until we reached a small grove some distance from the locker room, and I finally let go of his jacket.
I wanted to leave, but he reached out and pulled me into his arms.
"Isaac." I looked up at him, and he held me tighter.
His hand sometimes stroked my long hair, as if cautiously comforting me.
Sometimes, I felt like Isaac was treating me seriously, even though he was the one who had done all the wrong. But with Danial and Nick, it seemed like they were only driven by desire.
