Chapter 2: Scarlet- It all fell down

I could feel the way the wind blew through the giant hallway. The hallway that, suddenly felt too small. I took in a deep breath and stood up straight, there was no way I would let my Alpha see me looking weak. They already think I'm a “baby” because I’m so much younger than my brother. It’s not my fault that my parents wanted to wait so long before they had me.

“You need to come with me.” He whispered, I could hear how teeth were grinding against each other, the way he didn’t move. He wanted me to follow him, probably like that other girl did. I wouldn’t be her though, whatever had caused the onset of pair coursing through my chest wasn’t happening anymore.

I took in a deep breath and let my hand fall at my side while I repositioned my backpack, “Actually, I need to get to class.” I excused myself trying to figure out what classrooms Laguna had left me by before she walked off to her classes that would be starting in the next few minutes. My class should be just down the hall since I was by room 202 and my class is in room 207. I just needed to find a way to get the Alpha distracted and run to my class.

Taking another deep breath, allowing the air to fill my lungs while I try and find my courage I look down the hall. Fuck. There is no way I would be getting out of having whatever talk he wanted with me now.

“Just leave me alone. I had stomach problems, I’m fine now.” I stated, trying to sound as unbothered as possible with the pain coursing through my body. Where the hell is my brother when I need him?

“Scar, you need to come with us.” Lucas smirked, walking down the hall eagerly with his long legs. When did they all get so…. Sculpted? All three of them looked so different now and I haven’t even had the confidence to look at the original problem, Alpha Levi.

“I’m not going anywhere, with any of you. I have to meet with my brother for some materials before class that I forgot.” I sneered up at Lucas and turned in the direction of the office. I might have gone to the office because the nurse is such a bitch but at least I would be safe from whatever this is.

“Little Scar, you will be coming with us. Now do this the easy way and it will hurt a lot less.” Levi threatened, I could feel the anger radiating off of his body the closer he got to me.

I rolled my eyes and turned left, running into a hard body. Ouch. My body crashed against his warm-toned muscles in a matter of seconds, “You aren’t getting out of this, Scar.” Levi said sternly, his gruff voice sending goosebumps over my arms. Thankfully they were covered.

He set me back down on the floor, grabbed my wrists, and dragged me into an empty classroom before he threw me across the room. I didn’t have the right shoes on to stop my body from being flung into the nearest desk and falling onto the floor, “Why did you do that?” Lucas growled, running over and helping me stand up before he moved away from me. Did I have some sort of sick disease that made them incapable of sleeping with someone like me? I mean they have pretty much slept with every she-wolf that they can get their hands on.

“Scar, we have to talk about what happened earlier,” Liam said, his calming voice sending butterflies through my stomach.

“No, we don’t,” I said, looking out the window. Why did it matter which she-wolf they had a taste for this week?

“Yes, we do.” Liam sighed, standing next to his brother in unison. They always did something like this only it’s normally worse because they have my brother on their side.

“Actually, we don’t.” I snarled, looking at them in disgust. If we weren’t a species that couldn’t get sick I’m almost sure that they would have all kinds of sexually transmitted diseases by now.

My body slammed against the wall, “Ugh!” I groaned, feeling my head hit the wall. Levi’s scarred and calloused fingers tangled into my hair and made me look up at him, “Please, just listen.” he pleaded looking into my eyes with a shimmer of hope. I gulped, my cheeks flushed lightly, “What do you need to tell me about the flavor of the week?” I bit the inside of my cheek and stared back at him with every ounce of anger I could gather.

“Fucking dammit, Scar,” Levi growled, slamming his mouth into mine and shoving his tongue into my mouth. I pushed against his shoulders, "N-mmm.” I moaned, feeling his tongue massage my mouth while his finger’s trailed down my spine and over the curve of my ass, stopping at the hem of my dress.

His warmth ripped away from me and left me a puddle on the floor, “You know you can’t, Levi!” Liam shouted, his eyes switching between his wolf and his human side.

“Scar, I’m sorry. I, Alpha Leviathan Kensington  of the royal pack reject Luna Scarlet Kinley as my mate and Luna.” Alpha Levi grunted finishing off the rejection while I crumbled into a ball.

“I, Alpha Lucas Kensington of the royal pack reject Luna Scarlet Kinley as my mate and Luna.” Lucas repeatedly shortly after.

“I, Alph-” His words blurred out against the agonizing pain burning through my body I couldn’t think of anything else but the scorching fire burning through me.

I have to get out of here. Everything around me burned, I just needed to get outside and go home. Yeah, I would be safer if I could just go home. I got on my hands and knees and forced myself onto my feet while I hung onto the wall. How could they just watch as I suffered? I have spent my whole life around them, playing with them, doing dinners with them and they just ripped me apart without a second guess?

"Scar... Just let us explain.." Liam sighed, giving me a chance to work out some form of an answer.

"Don't call me that. Scar is reserved for people who care about me, who love me, who want to protect me and you all showed the opposite." I clenched my jaw and soaked in the burning sensation, it's so much worse than earlier. I ran towards the door and out of the high school, my shoes flying in different directions while my feet stung from the asphalt cutting up my feet. It doesn't matter though, I just need to get away.

"Scarlet, just let us explain." Alpha Levi growled out.
