Chapter 2 Scratches on the Back
"Can't wait?" Brandon suddenly said.
Monica froze, staring at him, who had just sat up in bed with a smirk. She was too stunned to react.
Wasn't Brandon supposed to be in a coma for three years with no hope of waking up?
She was about to scream, but Brandon grabbed her jaw.
His tone was lazy, yet chillingly indifferent, "Be a good girl and don't tell anyone I'm awake, or you'll regret it. As my wife, you should listen to me."
Monica's face turned pale, and she nodded stiffly, "Okay, I will."
She had heard about Brandon's ruthless methods; those who crossed him never met a good end.
But she was still confused, "Why are you pretending to be in a coma? Everyone thinks you won't wake up."
Brandon chuckled, "Curious, aren't you? So many questions on our first day of marriage? Where should I start? How about the first one?"
Monica blinked, unable to remember her first question.
Just as she was about to speak, he suddenly pressed against her, kissing her. Then, his large hands gripped her waist tightly.
"Didn't you want to know if I'm capable? Let me show you right now."
His deep voice whispered in her ear, and then he softly bit her earlobe.
His warm breath on her face made Monica's body tense up.
"Please don't do this! " She tried to push Brandon away, "I didn't mean it; I didn't know before..."
Brandon's hand slipped under her wedding dress, then clasped her ankle, "Changing your mind? That's not an option. You're my wife. Since you're curious, it's my duty to fulfill you."
Monica was terrified. His firm chest pressed against her, hot and hard, yet unfamiliar.
She struggled, but Brandon held her tightly, kissing her neck all the way down.
At some point, the zipper of her wedding dress was pulled down, and he bit the clasp of her bra, causing her full breasts to spring free.
Monica gasped, her mind blank.
The next second, he lowered his head and gently bit the rosy nipple, his lips and tongue slowly teasing her body.
At first, Monica tried to resist, but he held her so tightly that she couldn't break free.
Unconsciously, she became lost in the moment, clinging to his neck and starting to respond.
When he thrust his penis into her vagina, she whimpered in pain, tears streaming down her face, "It hurts!"
Brandon chuckled softly, gently kissing away her tears, "Sweetie, it won't hurt for long."
Monica curled up in his arms, trembling with his movements.
His hands roamed her body as he thrust deeper each time, leaving Monica's mind blank. She could only moan and gasp instinctively.
The passionate entanglement lasted for who knows how long, and Monica couldn't remember when she finally fell asleep, utterly exhausted.
When she woke up, she found herself in pajamas, but the bed beside her was empty.
The sheets were clean, showing no signs of the previous night's chaos.
If it weren't for the soreness between her legs, she might have thought it was all a dream.
And Brandon had left.
Monica forced herself to sit up, her eyes dazed.
Just then, footsteps sounded outside.
Brian knocked gently on the door, "Mrs. Robinson, are you awake?"
Monica responded, and Brian opened the door.
He explained, "Mr. Robinson was taken to the hospital for a check-up today. We saw you were sleeping soundly and didn't want to wake you. You can get familiar with the house today, or if you want to go to the hospital to be with Mr. Robinson; that's fine too."
Monica instinctively clutched the bedsheet.
The scenes from last night still lingered in her mind, and she didn't know how to face Brandon.
But she was also eager to know why he was pretending to be in a coma.
If she could talk to Brandon and leave the Robinson family, taking Kathie away from the Evans family's control, her life could return to normal.
After a moment of hesitation, she said, "I'll go to the hospital. I can learn how to take care of him."
Since she was already married into the family, she and Brandon were in the same situation now.
Showing concern for him could help her gain favor with the Robinson family. If she could secure her position there, she wouldn't have to worry about the Evans family controlling her and Kathie.
Brian seemed pleased with her decision, "Alright, I'll take you there shortly."
Monica got up and had breakfast before heading to the hospital with Brian.
The elevator took them to the top floor's special care unit. Monica opened the door to see the doctor examining Brandon.
His eyes were closed, looking peaceful and gentle. It was hard to believe he was the same person who had held her tightly and ravished her the night before.
Angelina was also there. Seeing Monica, she smiled kindly, "The doctor says Brandon is doing much better. It seems marrying you was good for him."
Monica inwardly scoffed at Brandon's act but managed to look flattered, "If Brandon gets better soon, I'll be very happy."
Hearing that, Angelina looked even more satisfied. She was about to speak when the doctor suddenly made a puzzled sound and said, "How did Mr. Robinson get these scratch marks on his back? And this red mark on his neck, where did it come from?"
