Chapter 1 The Daughter of A Murderer

In the busy coffee shop, a girl got slapped hard across her pretty face. She clutched her reddened cheek, her eyes empty and lifeless, not even thinking about fighting back.

People around her sneered and laughed, no one stepping in to help. After all, she was Alvin Carter's daughter, and they thought she deserved it.

"Victoria, your dad killed so many people, and you have the nerve to judge me? If I were you, I couldn't live with myself!" Ella Garcia taunted.

Victoria Carter hung her head, her voice barely a whisper. "I'm sorry, Ms. Garcia, I spoke out of turn. I apologize to you."

"Apologize? This is how you apologize to me? I asked you to get a cake from Honeycomb Cottage, but you made me wait forever, and this cake is awful! Do you expect me to keep it? What a joke!" Ella fumed. "I'm the daughter of the Garcia family, Mr. Scott's fiancée! Even if I threw away a hundred or a thousand cakes, it's not your place to criticize!"

Victoria lowered her eyes, a bitter smile on her lips. How could she dare to lose her temper with Ella now?

Even before, Victoria didn't have the right to yell at Ella. And now, with Alvin arrested and her mom, Nora Adams, in the hospital from the stress, it was even more impossible.

Not to mention a single slap, she'd have to endure a dozen if necessary!

Seeing Victoria stay silent, Ella got even more annoyed and grabbed a coffee cup from the table, smashing it on her head. "You're the daughter of a murderer. Why don't you just drop dead?"

The cup shattered, and the hot coffee splashed on Victoria's delicate cheek, causing a burning pain. She pressed her lips together, not daring to make a sound, but feeling a wave of dizziness.

Ella looked at her pitiful state, growing more furious. She picked up her bag from the table, ready to hit Victoria, but was interrupted by a man who burst through the door.

Ella turned and saw the man, a flash of joy in her eyes, and quickly walked to his side, holding his arm and acting all sweet. "William! This Victoria is driving me crazy."

The man came in holding a bouquet of roses, handed them to Ella, and gently ruffled her long curly hair, speaking softly, "Baby, there's no need to get upset with her. She's just a nobody. I'll make her apologize to you."

Victoria, covered in coffee stains and her face flushed, stood awkwardly to the side. Hearing his gentle words, she felt a shiver run through her body and couldn't help but glance at the man.

Sunlight streamed through the large windows, shining on him. He had broad shoulders, a narrow waist, a tall and upright figure, and well-defined features like a sculpture—a creation even God seemed to favor.

Victoria's eyes stung, and her heart ached.

This man was William Scott, her current sugar daddy and the heir of the Scott family. They had been intimately involved in the Scott Group's office that very morning. Now, he was demanding Victoria to apologize to his fiancée, Ella.

"Are you deaf? I told you to apologize to Ella!" William's voice turned icy.

Victoria bit her lip, her eyes slightly red, her body trembling, but she stubbornly refused to apologize in front of him.

William looked at her, feeling a tightness in his throat, swallowing hard.

"Didn't you hear? William told you to apologize to me, or I'll have him fire you. How will you pay for your mother's medical bills then?" Ella ordered arrogantly, glaring at Victoria.

Victoria took a deep breath, gritting her teeth, tears streaming down her cheeks.

"I'm sorry." She finally couldn't hold back, choking as she apologized to Ella, then lowered her head.

Ella was right. If Victoria angered William, she would lose her livelihood. How would she then manage to pay for Nora's medical bills, her brother Bobby Carter's tuition, and Alvin's substantial debts?

"Victoria, you really are a disgrace!" Ella sneered.

Hearing this, Victoria didn't lift her head, tears streaming down her cheeks.

William looked at Victoria and cursed inwardly. Her name echoed in his mind like a spell, making him feel hot and restless.

"Ella, you should head back first. I have some work to take care of at the office," William said, regaining his composure and speaking coolly.

"Okay." Ella glanced at him, a hint of reluctance in her eyes, then nodded and replied sweetly before leaving the coffee shop.

William then approached Victoria, looking down at her. He saw her white dress soaked with coffee, clinging to her body and revealing her perfect curves. His eyes narrowed and his gaze deepened as a surge of desire rose within him.

Victoria looked up at him and asked, "Mr. Scott, what do you want to do?"

William narrowed his eyes and replied, "What do I want to do? What do you think?"

With that, he pulled Victoria into the coffee shop's restroom. He continued, "Of course, I want to have sex with you!"

He kicked the stall door shut and pushed Victoria against the door.

William's tall and straight body pressed close to her, his hot breath spraying on her face. "I can't resist you when you look so pitiful." With that, his thin lips covered hers, biting and sucking harshly, with a punishing intensity.

Victoria's eyes widened, looking at the handsome face so close, her mind going blank. William's kiss grew more urgent, as if he wanted to consume her entirely.

He was like a hungry beast, ravaging her mouth for its sweetness and beauty. Victoria's hands were pinned against the wall, unable to break free, and it hurt a lot.

"Let go, you're hurting me!" Hearing her delicate complaint, William didn't stop but intensified his assault.

Victoria gradually lost the ability to think, driven only by an instinctive desire to break free from his grip. However, her resistance made William even more excited. One hand lifted her hips, while the other unbuttoned her shirt.

Just as he was about to remove her shirt, the sound of the door opening came from outside.

Someone had come to use the restroom.
