Chapter 6

It was another night of torment.

Sebastian took revenge on Christina, trying every way to make her emit enticing sounds.

Each intercourse lasted more than an hour, and they did several times throughout the night.

The long and painful night finally ended until a strong sense of exhaustion numbed her entire body.

"Still not getting up? Do you want one more time?" Sebastian looked mockingly at her and casually pulled open the curtains.

The morning sunlight streamed through the curtains, instantly illuminating every corner of the room and highlighting the red marks on Christina's neck.

These marks were evidence of Sebastian's torment from the previous night, a shame she couldn't escape.

Christina struggled to get up and stood in front of the mirror. She gently touched those red marks, feeling painful and humiliated. "You just want to embarass me by tormenting me last night at the company today."

Christina knew these marks couldn't be concealed; she had to find a way to hide them.

Then, her gaze fell on a scarf in the wardrobe. It was a scarf left to her by her mother, which was her favourite one.

She silently took down the scarf, gently wrapped it around her neck, and tried her best to cover the marks.

Getting dressed, Christina took a deep breath and went to start her new job as Sebastian's secretary.

She murmured, "Christina, you can get through this."

She knew this job would be the beginning of her suffering, but she had no choice but to endure it all for her family.

She walked out of the mansion, the sunlight on her face making her feel dizzy.

Christina's steps were heavy. Her body and mind were exhausted to the extreme. But she had to keep moving forward.

Christina arrived at Sebastian's company, walking into the towering skyscraper.

"Mrs. Boleyn, why are you here?" The security guard recognized her at a glance and couldn't help but ask warmly.

Christina showed an access card. "I'm here to work."

Under the security guard's astonished gaze, Christina's footsteps echoed crisply on the smooth marble floor. Her heartbeat accelerated.

This would be her new battlefield, and she had to survive here.

She walked into Sebastian's office, where several secretaries were already busy, and various strange looks followed her from outside the door.

"Mrs. Boleyn is coming to work. Didn't she and Mr. Boleyn get divorced?"

"How could she still be Mrs. Boleyn after the bankrupcy of her family? Probably she is here to please Mr. Boleyn!"

They noticed the scarf around Christina's neck, their eyes flashing with curiosity and suspicion.

"Could it be that, because of family ties, she is deliberately seducing Mr. Boleyn? Did she turn from an ex-wife to a mistress?"

"How could Mr. Boleyn be that kind of person? There must be some hidden deal."

Christina ignored these speculations, showing no weakness or fear here.

"That scarf is so ugly! Why not take it off and show everyone our achievements from last night?" Sebastian sat behind his desk, smiling coldly. He looked at Christina, his eyes full of provocation and mockery.

Christina pretended not to hear anything, asking coldly, "Mr. Boleyn, what do you need me to do now?"

Sebastian's voice was deep and powerful. "I have some work for you to handle."

He handed Christina a thick stack of documents, piled high, so heavy she almost couldn't hold them.

This work far exceeded a secretary's normal workload.

"Sort through all these documents and familiarize yourself with the company's current situation. This work must be completed today." Sebastian's voice carried a tone of command.

Christina nodded, not saying a word. Any resistance was futile. She silently took the documents and began her work.

"Mr. Boleyn really knows how to play. He is going to get engaged to a popular actress while keeping his ex-wife as a secretary."

"Ms. Seymour still has some charm, but her family suddenly falls from grace, such a pity."

"What's wrong with you? Seeing her trying to cover up, it's clear she got this job through some unspeakable services."

The other people in the office started whispering, their eyes occasionally falling on Christina's neck.

Their eyes were full of curiosity and disdain, and they began to secretly exclude and bully Christina.

Christina tried to stay calm. She started working overtime, frantically sorting through the documents and recording data.

Her fingers flew over the keyboard, while her eyes fixed on the computer screen. Her body was exhausted to the extreme, but she couldn't stop; she had to finish the work.

As night fell, everyone else in the office had left, leaving only Christina.

"Finally done." Christina stretched with relief, having finally completed all the work. She stood up, ready to leave.

"Where's my bag?" She suddenly remembered she had left her bag on Sebastian's desk. She thought, 'At this time, he should be gone, right?'

Christina cautiously approached Sebastian's office door. At that moment, she heard a strange sound.

"Sebastian, no, what if someone comes?" Laura pretended to be shy verbally, but her body clung to Sebastian like a snake.

Sebastian's eyes were full of seduction. "Laura, don't you want to have sex with me?"

Laura blushed, constantly blowing hot air into Sebastian's ear. "Sebastian, I want it!"

The door to Sebastian's office was ajar, and Christina saw the two entangled bodies at a glance.

Laura called out, "Sebastian, I want you!"

Sebastian and Laura were being intimate in the office, and Laura's wanton moans echoed in the empty office.

Christina felt dizzy. Her heart was filled with pain and humiliation.

Although she had anticipated they must have had a sexual relationship, seeing it unfold before her was still unbearable.

Sebastian saw Christina at the door. He had deliberately let Christina see it. A smug smile appeared on his face.

"Laura, you're so beautiful! That woman can't compare to you at all." Sebastian deliberately intensified his actions, his eyes full of provocation and mockery.

Christina felt nauseous; she couldn't bear such humiliation and quickly turned away. She rushed out of the company and onto the street.

The night wind blew on her face, drying her tears and leaving streaks.

Both her heart and body felt a chill.

'Is this what my life will be like from now on?' She felt unprecedented despair and helplessness!
