Chapter 5 Reaping What You Sow

Lewis even knew all about her mom, which just showed how powerful the Windsor family really was.

Aria took a deep breath, eyeing Lewis with a mix of doubt and hesitation. "Why are you helping me?"

"Believe it or not, that's your call," Lewis said, his face calm and his eyes unreadable.

Then, Lewis slowly pulled a business card from his pocket, holding it between his long and perfect fingers, and handed it to Aria.

Aria took the card with a little hesitation, and then looked at it.

The card read Brett Astor.

Aria repeated the name in her head, a flicker of surprise in her eyes.

He was a world-famous top doctor!

In the medical area, his name was legendary, and many tough cases had turned into medical miracles by him.

But then again, given Lewis's status, it wasn't shocking that he knew Brett.

Seeing Aria staring at the card for a while without saying anything, Lewis thought she still didn't trust him, and his eyes darkened a bit. "He's my friend, you can trust him."

Aria thought it over and finally agreed. The offer Lewis provided was too tempting.

She was eager to reclaim the Russell family's property that belonged to her mom's family!

"Thank you, Mr. Windsor. Wish us a pleasant partnership." Aria carefully put the business card away.

Marrying into the Windsor family seemed too good to be true. She felt like she was getting all the benefits with no losses.

This made Aria even more cautious, but whether for herself or to reclaim the Russell family's property, it was worth the risk.

Lewis nodded slightly, then raised his hand, signaling the bodyguards to take Duke away.

"Wait." A glint flashed in Aria's eyes, and she smiled meaningfully. "Can you hand him over to me?"

Lewis nodded indifferently, "Do you need any help?"

He didn't question or doubt her, which surprised Aria.

Why did it feel like he was indulging her?

"Have your bodyguards take him to Laura's lounge together with the aphrodisiac incense. I want to see her get what she deserves." Aria smiled.

Lewis glanced at Aria and waved his hand, and the bodyguards followed Aria's request.

After the bodyguards took Duke away, Aria leisurely sat on the sofa and picked up a novel to read.

Outside the door, there were noisy footsteps, and her stepmother Ruth Brown's voice was particularly piercing. "Aria is about to get engaged. I brought you to meet her."

Ruth's voice couldn't hide her glee, as if she had already seen Aria's downfall.

The door suddenly swung open, and Aria slowly looked up to see Ruth leading a group of guests in, including Billy's parents.

"Aria, why are you reading?" Ruth's smile froze on her face, and the words she had prepared to scold Aria for her chaotic and promiscuous private life were stuck in her throat.

The scene she expected didn't happen. Instead, Aria was calmly reading, with light shining on her, like a beautiful painting.

"Why can't I be reading?" Aria put down the book and stood up calmly. "Ruth, seeing you remind me that Laura asked me to discuss something with her in her lounge. Since everyone is here, why don't we all go together?"

Hearing this, Ruth felt a sense of foreboding.

Aria's lips gradually curved into a meaningful smile. She moved with grace and lightness, walking out calmly.

"No!" Ruth reacted strongly, instinctively reaching out to block Aria's path.

Aria looked at her, puzzled, and Ruth quickly realized her reaction was off. She hurriedly explained, "I brought them to see the bride-to-be. If Laura needs you, you can go alone."

"But it's not just Laura in there, Billy is with her," Aria said, her eyes clear and innocent.

This bit of info made the guests exchange knowing looks.

Earlier in the hall, Aria had exposed Laura's affair with Billy, and it seemed to be true.

They couldn't control themselves and were having an affair in the lounge during the banquet.

What did this make Aria, the fiancée?

The guests looked at Aria with sympathy, and noticing this, Aria pretended to be sad.

"What? Billy is in Laura's lounge?" Billy's parents couldn't hold back any longer. Ignoring Ruth's attempts to stop them, they strode towards Laura's lounge.

A large group of people followed, and Ruth could only nervously trail behind, praying that nothing went wrong with Laura.

Aria smiled and stayed at the back, waiting for the upcoming drama.

As soon as the door was pushed open, the guests gasped in shock at the chaotic scene inside. "Oh my God!"

Clothes were scattered everywhere, like the aftermath of a wild night.

On the sofa, a naked couple was tightly embracing, their faces flushed with passion, and a disheveled, unconscious man lay on the floor nearby!

The woman was, of course, Laura, and the unconscious man on the floor was Billy!

Ruth screamed in fright, her face turning pale, her eyes filled with horror and disbelief. "Laura, how could this be? I had everything arranged!"

The crowd was too shocked to notice the oddity in Ruth's words.

Especially Billy's parents, who, too shocked to react, hurriedly lifted the unconscious Billy.

Billy's mother shook him anxiously, "Billy? Are you okay? My God, what happened?"

At this moment, Aria pretended to be shocked and said, "Wasn't Billy meeting Laura to discuss work? How did Duke, who had a scandal with Laura before, suddenly appear here, and why are they naked and hugging?"

Her words shocked the guests again.

Laura, the stepdaughter of the York family, had done something so scandalous, meeting two men at once? A threesome?

Disdainful glances and murmurs filled the room.

"You bitch, shut up! You must have framed Laura!" Ruth reacted and cursed, rushing to pull Laura up. However, Duke, under the influence of the aphrodisiac, clung to Laura, and Laura was also entangled with him.

Ruth couldn't separate them.

"What are you looking at? Help me!" she shouted, and others came to help, finally separating Laura and Duke with great effort.

"I want more, don't go!" Laura twisted and called out.

"Mom." Laura covered her face, waking up, and looked in horror at the crowded lounge.

Realizing she was naked, she screamed and covered herself with clothes.

The noise woke Billy, and he was also stunned by the scene before him.

Especially seeing his lover Laura and Duke both naked, he immediately understood what had happened.

He rushed forward and grabbed Laura, roaring in anger.

"Fuck! What the hell is going on? Didn't you say the scandal with Duke was fake? Now you knocked me out and made love in front of me? You better explain this clearly! Or I won't let you off!"
