Taken By Kieran
Lilith:
I held my breath as everything else around me seemed to disappear. All I could hear in my ears was a constant ringing and the fading sound of reality.
Kieran stood there, looking at me for what I could only guess to be around a whole minute. His eyes, glowing and reflecting my own reflection in them, showed how of a mess I was.
My hair ruffled up, my eyes wide with shock and a side of my mouth twitching from fear. Despite being under this monster, everything started to feel like it was okay. The fear started to subside as it crept closer, sniffing me on my face and around my shoulders. My breasts bobbed up and down from the deep breaths that I was taking at intervals, not wanting to piss him off.
I could hear Alpha Zander giving orders in the distance and without even looking, I knew that Ryder was somewhere cowered in fear behind his father.
My only worry was Seren. She was crazy enough to come running and try to attack this monster. Luckily for me and her, she didn't. After it was done sniffing me, it took a step back, allowing me room to sit up and probably stand. I moved cautiously and sat up, keeping my eyes peeled on its movement.
It was still baring its canines at me but watched me closely. My first thought was to get up and run for my life but that proved that it could've been the worst decision that I would have made.
If the beast in front of me nearly pounced on me again as I was about to get to my feet, wouldn't it have torn me apart if I tried making a run for it?
Judging from how fast it had closed in on me, with time to go through ten men like it was nothing, I wouldn't even have gotten the time to turn my back towards it before it strikes.
I remained seated, something that it might have preferred. With my back towards everyone, I could hear them call for me to run while others were trying to tell me what to do.
"Stab it in the eye and run,"
"Play dead. It'll leave you alone,"
Those were just but a few of what was being suggested. ' It's as if it can't hear you. It's not just a fucking wolf but also a human like you and me!' I snapped back at them, though internally.
I couldn't risk shouting with it so close to me. I got a better view of the aftermath of the men that tried to defend the pack.
Clasping my mouth in horror, I didn't want to imagine what it could do to me. Especially since it had killed all of them so swiftly and brutally like they were nothing.
'All those years of training for nothing,'
I murmured.
Just as things had died down, the sound of paws slamming on to the ground caught my attention. I laid down just in time for around three or five wolves jumped over me and were attacking the Exile.
That was my chance.
"Run!" Seren shouted at me bringing me back to reality fully.
I got to my feet as the fight ensued behind me. All I could hear was snarling, the sound of canines grazing each other as the wolves snapped their mouths at each other and even before I got far, I heard squeals and whimpers.
I was still quite the distance from the pack and just as I was contemplating whether to shift so that I cover the distance between me and them quickly, I picked up the sound of something flying through the air.
Whatever it was,it was big and it was moving fast. As I was about to trigger my shift, something hit me on the back sending me flying a few meters crashing and rolling on the ground.
Everything was hazy as I turned and groaned in pain. I had landed hard on my knee and it was hurting pretty bad.
As I was rolling on the ground, a shadow cast over my entire body. Trying to look up, it was Kieran once again, with the moon shining over him.
I wanted to run, I wanted to fight, but my body was exhausted and in pain. I was struggling and was slowly losing consciousness.
Waking up, the first thing that crossed my mind was: Why is the wind blowing on my face so harshly today?
I tried opening my eyes but everything was blurry. I could feel my body bouncing up and down, it was as if someone had tied a rope around me and was tugging at it.
I tried reaching around but all I got hold of was air.
Nothing!
Moving my feet, it quickly hit me that I wasn't on the ground. My face was looking down and the ground soon became clear but it was moving, no, I was the one moving.
And I was moving fast. I realized that I was being carried and when I looked to my side, I spotted two, black and furry feet that were running on the ground.
I looked at my surroundings and there were trees all over. That's when it all made sense.
Kieran was carrying me in his mouth and we were running through the forest.
In the distance, I could hear howls which seemed to be hot on Kieran's trail.
'Where is he taking me?' I questioned myself as I tried looking at him.
"Let me go!" I demanded, trying to pry his mouth open so that he drops me. No matter how much I tried, his canine's grip wasn't budging.
The running came to an abrupt stop as Kieran braked hard, nearly rolling over on the ground. He was growling and he didn't sound happy at all. Turning my head to look at him, his eyes were glued ahead and his growling was getting worse.
It was as if he had seen someone.
