Chapter 6: They were defeated
Vector nodded, trying to hide his own excitement. He knew that this was just the beginning. They still had to make their move.
As the leader approached the van, his hand reaching for the handle, Vector gave the signal. "Now!"
The Black Eyes clan members sprung into action, launching themselves out of the van and attacking and shooting the motorcycle gang with lightning speed.
The element of surprise was on their side, and the Black Eyes Clan used it to their advantage. They took down the first few gang members before they could react, their skills and training putting them at a clear advantage.
The rest of the motorcycle gang was taken completely off guard, their confidence shattered as they realized they were facing a highly skilled team of fighters.
Some of the gang members tried to fight back, but they were no match for the well-trained Black Eyes Clan. The clan members moved seamlessly, working together to take down the remaining gang members with speed and precision.
The battle was over within minutes, the motorcycle gang either dead, incapacitated or unconscious on the ground like a bloody bath. The Black Eyes Clan stood victorious in the middle of the road, their breaths ragged but their eyes sharp.
Vector surveyed the scene, making sure that all the gang members were down. He then turned to his team, a look of pride in his eyes. "Well done, team. We did it."
The team members nodded, their expressions serious as they took stock of themselves and their surroundings. They knew that they had been lucky to survive the ambush, but they also knew that it had been their training and teamwork that had led them to victory.
Just then, the sound of police sirens cut through the air. The team exchanged worried looks, realizing that they couldn't afford to be caught by the police.
Vector quickly got back behind the wheel, quickly revving the engine. "We need to get out of here, now!" he yelled to the team.
The team settled back into their seats, their breathing steadying as they realized they had escaped unscathed. They exchanged glances, the adrenaline slowly wearing off and realization setting in.
"That was a close one," Sniper said, "We were lucky to get out of there in one piece."
"Yeah," Archer agreed, "We need to be more careful from now on. We can't afford another run-in like that."
Vector nodded gravely, his mind still racing. "I know. We'll have to be extra vigilant for the rest of the trip. We're so close to being done with this mission, we can't afford any more setbacks."
The team nodded, their expressions somber as they settled in for the rest of the drive. They knew that they had a long night ahead of them, but they were determined to make it back to the clans mansion safely.
The drive back to the city was tense, the team on high alert for any signs of danger. They kept checking their mirrors and the area around them, wary of any potential threats.
After a few more hours, the team finally arrived back at the clans mansion. The van pulled up to the gate, the guard on duty nodding at the driver. With a silent signal, the gate opened and the van pulled into the mansion's grounds.
The team breathed a collective sigh of relief as they pulled into the garage, the familiar surroundings of the mansion casting a sense of security over them. They climbed out of the van, their tired bodies stretching and aching from the long drive.
The clans butler, a stoic man in a well-tailored suit, approached them as they unloaded the weapons from the back of the van. "Good to see you all back in one piece," he said in a gravelly voice.
Vector nodded at the butler, his expression weary but relieved. "We ran into some trouble on the way back. But we managed to take care of it."
The butler raised an eyebrow, his eyes scanning the team for any signs of injury. "Any casualties?" he asked.
Vector shook his head, "No, we all made it out unharmed. We're just tired and winded from the fight."
“Is the Don in his suite?” Vector inquired.
“Yes, he is. And before I forget, the Master said you should report to him,” the butler replied.
“You guys can take a rest; I’ll see the Don,” Vector told the rest of the team.
The Don's Suite
Marcus was busy working on his computer when he heard a knock at the door.
“Come in!” he commanded.
Vector opened the door and stepped inside.
“Master, this is the payment from the Vikings Clan,” Vector stated.
“I hope everything went smoothly,” Marcus asked.
“Yes, everything went well, but we did face some attacks from an unidentified motorcyclist,” Vector responded.
Marcus leaned back in his chair, his sharp mind processing the information. "An unidentified motorcyclist, huh? That's not good. Any idea who they are?"
"No," Vector replied, shaking his head. "They came out of nowhere and attacked us on the highway. We didn't get much of a look at them, just that were armed and aggressive."
