Chapter 5 Midnight Ride

After Addie got over her fear, she actually enjoyed being on his bike. It was an adrenaline rush, that's for sure. She was so excited and had so much energy she thought her cheeks would freeze from all the smiling. After they had been on the road for a while, they pulled over to a wide spot on the side of the road.

"Is there something wrong?" Addie asked.

"No. You're not used to riding, so I wanted to give you a little break." Cage explained.

Everyone got off their bikes. Sym and Diego were on their phones. Joker and Paris get off his bike. She walked over to Addie, rubbing her butt.

"Damn, it's been a while, my ass is numb." Paris laughed.

The guys all laughed. Addie just smiled. She was still so jittery from the ride, that she feared her voice would betray her. They made small talk for a few minutes, then got back on the bikes.

"Prez said we needed to stop at the clubhouse before we took the women home," Diego replied.

Addie was horrified about having to go inside. Her face turned bright red. Everyone decided not to mention it. Paris gave her a thumbs up.

They all pulled into the clubhouse gate. They waited while the gates opened, then drove through. Addie was taking everything in and felt her body would burst any minute with all the new experiences. The guys parked their bikes and got off.

"I'll just wait right here." Addie replied.

"Nonsense. We don't know how long Prez needs us, and I'm not having you to wait outside. Never know who or what may be out here." Cage explained.

"Ok." Addie agreed.

Cage took her hand and led her up the steps to the front door. It looked like a massive warehouse on the outside. It wasn't run down or anything. Just like an ordinary one. There was another one next to it that set back a little which was just as big.

They walked into the clubhouse and Addie was afraid to look around. That was until she noticed there were no wild orgies going on. There were people sitting and talking. And some sat at the bar, some set on couches.

Addie gave Paris a warning look. She wondered if Paris had made those stories up to scare her off, or prank her. Cage caught her glare at Paris.

"Tonight is a calm night. It's only Wednesday. Most are worn out from working and still have tomorrow and Friday work." Cage explained.

"Oh, ok." Addie replied.

"Friday and Saturday are the wild orgie nights." He laughed.

Addie blushed. She didn't know if he was telling the truth or kidding her. Cage walked over to an empty sofa. Paris was behind Addie. She hadn't realized all the guys that were with them had disappeared.

"You and Paris can wait here. If you'd like a drink at the bar, that's fine. Just know if you get drunk, you'll have to spend the night here in my room. I won't risk you falling off my bike drunk." Cage warned.

"Ok." Addie replied.

He left as they sat down. Addie was afraid to look around. Although it seemed calm, she didn't want to push her luck and see something that would embarrass her. She also didn't want to appear to be a freak.

"So, what do you think?" Paris asked.

"It's nice." Addie replied.

Paris burst out laughing. "Only you would say something like that."

"I'm trying not to be what my parents taught me to be. Give me a break." Addie retorted.

"You're right. Baby steps. I'm sorry." Paris replied genuinely.

Addie finally decided to step out of her comfort zone and look around more. When she did, she found out her imagination was way off. It was a large room with a huge bar on one side. The other side where she was had multiple couches and chairs.

There were a couple of tables along the wall. She noticed the steps that went up to another level. Everything was clean and well kept. And it didn't smell bad either.

Ten minutes later, a few women dressed scantily came into the room. Addie had hoped they'd keep on walking. No such luck.

"Hey Paris." One spoke.

"Carly." Paris replied, not so friendly.

"Who's your friend?" Carly asked.

"She's here with Cage." Paris remarked.

Carly burst out laughing. "Funny Paris. That was a good one. No offense honey, but Cage wouldn't be caught dead with an innocent virgin like her!"

The other two women just looked uncomfortable. They didn't laugh or look at Addie as they walked off. Addie was relieved when she saw Cage come into the room.

Until Carly flung her body against his and kissed him. Addie didn't miss her hand rubbing the front of his pants. Cage said something to her and scowled at her.

Then Addie heard him raise his voice and say now. After that, Carly walked away. But not before she looked at Addie and winked.

"Ignore her. She's a bitch. Always putting herself where she's not wanted." Paris replied.

Addie decided to just ignore it. Not her monkey, not her circus. Cage and another man she hadn't seen before walked over to them. The man was staring at her. She felt he was familiar but couldn't remember seeing him before.

"Addie, this is our Prez." Cage introduced.

"Nice to meet you." Addie smiled and offered her hand.

He shook her hand. "Who's your mom?"

Addie thought it was a weird question to ask but thought maybe he knew her mom. So, she decided to answer him.

"Lydia Watson." She replied.

His jaw clenched. "Lydia Hawkins?"

"Yes that was her birth name. Do you know her?" Addie asked.

"Something like that." He replied.

"Ladies, we were called in because some other bikers were spotted in the area. We were unsure who they were. But they're gone now. Just nomads passing through." Cage explained.

"The guys can give you ladies a ride home now." Prez replied.
