Chapter 5 The Pregnancy

Today was the engagement day of Nathan and Rosaline Wilson , but he spent the night in the hotel with Catherine Wilson .

Rosaline laughed. It seemed that she had already guessed that such a thing would happen. After all, her cousin had plotted against her to take everything from her over the past five years.

Her shares, her property, and her fiance.

Rosaline was surrounded by reporters, and the cameras kept taking pictures of her.

Nathan had not appeared. Samuel rushed over to protect Rosaline.

"Rosaline, it's okay. Don't be afraid. I'm here for you."

"Grandpa, I'm fine."

"Nathan has gone too far. From now on, the Wilson family has nothing to do with the Petrelli family." Samuel raised his voice and glanced at the Petrelli family. His words were full of coldness and annoyance.

"As for Catherine, if she dares to be with Nathan, she will be kicked out by the Wilson family." Samuel turned his head to Catherine's parents.

"I'm telling all of you. If anyone dares to hurt Rosaline, don't blame me for being merciless."

Samuel was a well-known figure in Los Angeles. When he said this, everyone was shocked.

Rumor had it that Samuel doted on his eldest granddaughter, who had just come back five years ago.

Hearing these words, Rosaline felt so warm in her heart. She knew how much Samuel loved her.

Grandpa took Rosaline back to the lounge to avoid those who had evil intentions.

In a short while, the sound of people walking around came from the door. It must be the man looking for more clues!

Fortunately, they just stayed at the door for a while and did not come in. Rosaline breathed a sigh of relief. It was such a close call! He almost caught her.

However, she knew that he wouldn't end the thing like this. She did not know what he would do next.

It seemed that she had provoked someone she couldn't afford to offend. "I must do something to escape from him"

Rosaline felt that it was very difficult, and she even felt that it was almost impossible.

Rosaline was a little depressed. "Who did I mess with? Why did I have to mess with such a god of plague?"

"Luckily I have a disguise on my face, he did not see my real appearance."

Her mother had always asked her to pretend to be ugly because she had been a beauty since she was a child. Her mother said that if a girl was too beautiful, she might have extra troubles.

Her mother learnt a lesson from her past, so she did not want her tragedy to happen to her daughter.

Rosaline had always listened to her mom. When she returned to the Wilson family, she did not change at all. Therefore, even the Wilson family did not know what she really looked like.

The outsiders even knew less of it.

"Maybe I should go abroad to improve myself by learning some new courses. A lot of friends and teachers went abroad..."

Rosaline began to prepare for her going abroad.

"If I leave now, the man would notice me. I have to stay in Los Angeles for a while. I need to wait for the opportunity."

She asked her friends to find a small house in a remote village. Then she can wait for a few months to go to Canada to avoid the man's investigation.However, during the following two months, she didn't have a period and had no appetite to eat. So she went to the hospital for a check-up.

"Miss, you're pregnant."

"No way!  It was just a one-night stand!"
