CHAPTER 2 Night Of Desire

Billionaire Adam Caven sat in the dimly lit private lounge of his upscale bar, The Raven's Nest, a glass of bourbon in his hand. This was his sanctuary, a retreat from the ceaseless demands of his business empire.

Known for his strict, stern demeanor and his lack of interest in women, Adam valued his solitude and guarded it fiercely, despite been known as the most eligible bachelor in the whole of new city he was not interested at al in all the publicity.

The Raven's Nest was his creation, a place where he could observe the world from a distance, shielded by the walls of his private room.

The bar was bustling with its usual weekend crowd, the sounds of laughter and music filtering through the heavy door.

Adam preferred this sanctum, a refuge from the noise and chaos.

Tonight, however, a nagging restlessness gnawed at him, a sense of unease he couldn't quite place. He took a long sip of his bourbon, savoring the warmth as it slid down his throat.

Deciding he needed to clear his head, Adam stood and made his way to the adjacent bathroom, leaving the room dim and quiet.

As he splashed water on his face, he thought about the week's events—the endless meetings, the negotiations, the relentless pursuit of maintaining his position as the top billionaire bachelor. The weight of it all pressed down on him, but he had learned to bear it with stoic resolve.

Meanwhile, Ina stumbled through the crowded bar, her vision blurred by the effects of too much alcohol. Lila had gone to get them another round, leaving Ina to navigate her way to the bathroom alone. Disoriented and unsteady, she pushed open the wrong door, oblivious to the "Private" sign.

The room she entered was dark, the only light a faint glow from a distant streetlamp filtering through the curtains. It seemed inviting, a stark contrast to the bustling bar outside. Ina's feet moved of their own accord toward the large, inviting bed in the center of the room.

Her mind registered a fleeting thought—this isn't right—but her body was too exhausted to care. She switched off the small bedside lamp, plunging the room into near darkness, and collapsed onto the bed.

Adam returned from the bathroom, his thoughts still on the week's events. The room was dark, but he was familiar with its layout.

He moved toward the bed, thinking of nothing but the sleep he desperately needed. Without noticing the additional presence, he lay down, the weariness of the day finally catching up with him.

Hours passed, and the bar below gradually quieted as patrons trickled out. In the stillness of the room, Adam drifted into a light sleep. But his rest was soon interrupted by a weight shifting beside him. His eyes snapped open as he felt a soft, warm body press against his. Before he could react, lips met his in a fervent kiss.

Startled, Adam's first instinct was to push the intruder away, but something made him pause. He reached out, his hands gently grasping her shoulders, and pulled back slightly, breaking the kiss. "What the hell is going on?" he asked, his voice low and firm.

But before he even had the chance to finish his sentence, Ina was on his lips, her sloppy kiss showing signs of inexperience. "Martin, this is what you want, right? I can do it. Just don't leave me alone. I love you."

Adam's initial shock turned to irritation. "God help me, but you are getting on my nerves. Whoever you are, if you're one of those people sent by the media to test me, you better stop this act, or I am going to make your life a living hell."

But despite the threat, there was still no response from Ina. By now, her hands were in his pants, and Adam, unable to bear it anymore, turned Ina over.

"Fuck the media. I am going to make you regret this," he muttered through gritted teeth.

Ina, not seeming to understand what was going on due to her drunkenness, started unbuttoning his shirt. After much struggling, she could not get all the buttons undone.

Finding himself unable to contain his desire any longer, Adam impulsively stripped them both of their clothing, consumed by his passion, without any preparation or protection he entered her and kept on going all through the night unable to stop himself and also with this being a first for him he realized how much he needed this release to relieve his stress.

However Adam's pent up desire came to an abrupt halt when Ina suddenly vomited all over the bed.

Shocked and sobered by the unexpected turn of events, his desire gave way to irritation. He couldn't fathom how a woman could be so frustratingly unpredictable.

Nonetheless, he took it upon himself to carry her into the bathroom and clean her up.

As he tended to her, Ina remained oblivious, still lost in her own world. She laughed intermittently, even playfully slapping his face.

Adam couldn't help but wonder if this was a regular occurrence for her with other men and this particular thought brought a sting to her heart and this was an emotion he hardly eve felt.

After gently laying Ina down on the now cleaned bed, Adam made his way over to the couch to catch up on some work.

The room was dimly lit, the soft glow of the lamp casting a warm ambiance. He retrieved his laptop from the coffee table and settled in, the hum of the device filling the quiet room.

As he sifted through emails and reports, Adam's mind drifted to the multi-billion dollar contract he was trying to secure with a Chinese company. It was a crucial deal, one that could elevate his business to new heights.

He made several calls to his personal assistant, discussing strategy and fine-tuning the details of the proposal.

Hours passed as Adam delved more into his work, his focus unwavering. The clock on the wall ticked past midnight, reminding him of the late hour.

With a sigh, he decided it was time to call it a night. He switched off his computer, the screen going dark, and stretched his arms, feeling the tension from hours of work starting to show.

His gaze fell on Ina, still asleep on the bed. Despite the tumultuous events of the evening, she looked peaceful in slumber. Wondering what and how she was able to bring out that type of reaction from him because he had never been one to lose control, especially not in such a way.

Quietly, he made his way to the bathroom to freshen up before joining Ina on the bed. He laid there, staring at the ceiling, his mind buzzing with thoughts of the contract, of Ina, of everything that had transpired. Eventually, exhaustion caught up with him, and he drifted off into a deep sleep.
