Chapter 7
At that moment, Alexandra felt a rush of excitement.
"Can I have this Olympian Elixir?"
She knew the Windsor family was loaded and probably wouldn't mind giving away some herbs. But the Olympian Elixir was a whole different story—rare and super valuable.
Even though Susan had grown it just for fun and didn't realize its worth, Alexandra wasn't sure they'd hand it over so easily.
"Sure thing!" Susan said without hesitation. "It's just a plant. If you want it, it's yours. Actually, you can have anything in this garden!"
"But Alexandra, from the way you're reacting, this Olympian Elixir must be pretty special. If you need more, I have a friend who might be able to get some."
Alexandra was floored. "Really?"
"Yeah, I visited his garden once and saw his Olympian Elixir growing all over the place. I thought it looked pretty and asked for some seeds. So, he must have plenty of it!"
Alexandra was speechless. The Olympian Elixir was incredibly rare and expensive because it was so hard to grow. It usually thrived on cliffs, enduring harsh weather for years before it could be harvested for medicinal use. Growing it at home required perfect conditions and years of care.
So, both Susan and her friend were pretty impressive.
"If possible, could you help me get in touch with your friend?"
With the Olympian Elixir, Alexandra could make the life-saving medicine she needed.
Seeing Alexandra's eager expression, Susan nodded. "Of course!"
"In a few days, if you're free, I'll take you to his place. I'm not sure if what he has is exactly what you're looking for."
"Okay."
Alexandra tried to contain her excitement. The thought of having the Olympian Elixir and being able to save Oliver made her incredibly happy.
Even though the Smith family hadn't treated her well, Oliver was the one bright spot in her life. She would do everything she could to help him.
Alexandra followed Andrew and Susan through several hallways until they reached the innermost room.
The entire garden was meticulously maintained, with lush plants everywhere. They entered through glass doors, and everything inside was perfectly arranged.
Most of the decorations were antiques, and the paintings on the walls were famous works of art. The bed was a soft pink, and Susan nervously wrung her hands.
"Alexandra, you haven't been back in years, so I wasn't sure what you liked. I tried my best to prepare this for you. If you don't like it, we can change everything!"
Alexandra didn't particularly like pink, but she could see the effort that had gone into the room's decor. She turned to look at Susan, who was sweating nervously.
Susan was clearly afraid she wouldn't like it.
In the Smith family, Alexandra's status and treatment had always been mediocre. Over the years, she had become independent and self-reliant. She knew she couldn't depend on anyone and didn't want to trouble others.
Even though she was the Windsor family's biological daughter, she hadn't been with them for years and didn't feel very close to them. She understood her situation and wouldn't take advantage of their kindness.
She smiled at Susan. "Thank you, I really like it."
Susan's face lit up with joy. She clasped her hands to her chest, breathing heavily, with tears in her eyes. "That's wonderful! I'm so glad you like it. I was worried you wouldn't."
"I thought all girls liked pink, but since we haven't seen each other in so long, I wasn't sure about your preferences. I just wanted to give you the best."
Andrew chimed in, "Susan has been preparing for your return for days. She changed many things in the house, especially this room. She even replaced the paintings with more colorful ones to make you happy."
"Susan didn't sleep for several nights, worrying you wouldn't like it."
Hearing this, Alexandra felt no strong emotions. She knew they were doing this out of guilt for not finding her all these years. But even so, she nodded. "Thank you, I really like it."
"You're so considerate, unlike your sister," Susan said, putting an arm around Alexandra's shoulder. She stopped herself from saying more.
Andrew's expression changed slightly. "Alexandra will find out sooner or later."
"Alexandra, you actually have a sister. She's just a bit younger than you. She's been abroad, so you haven't met her yet."
Andrew watched Alexandra's face as he spoke.
"But she's planning to come back and live with us soon. You don't mind, do you?"
"I already have three brothers," Alexandra said calmly. "What's one more sister?"
The Windsor family was indeed large. Having so many siblings was a bit overwhelming for Alexandra, who had always been solitary.
"As long as you don't mind," Andrew said, visibly relieved.
At the villa's entrance, a luxury car pulled up, and a woman in a designer dress stepped out, carrying the latest LV embroidered bag and wearing NM high heels. She removed her sunglasses and looked at the door.
"Dad, Mom, I'm back!"
"Mr. Windsor and Mrs. Windsor's fifth daughter, Miss Celeste Windsor, has returned!" The butler greeted her respectfully. "Mr. Windsor and Mrs. Windsor have been eagerly awaiting your return."
"What?"
Celeste was puzzled by the unfamiliar title. "Why are you calling me that?"
Celeste had been abroad for a long time and only recently decided to return. However, Alexandra's return had been planned for some time. Andrew and Susan had instructed the butler to refer to Alexandra as Mr. and Mrs. Windsor's fourth daughter, to make her feel like part of the family. Since Celeste was younger, she would be the fifth daughter.
But Celeste was unaware of this arrangement.
