Chapter 6 Worry-Free Coffee
Even though I wasn't quite sixteen yet, I had a bit of a clue about sex.
Right now, being pinned down by this strong woman demanding I sleep with her, I felt a shiver run through my body!
"Hey... let's not joke around."
"I'm not joking!" Her thick, dark eyebrows almost shot up. "I need a man to sleep with every day at six in the evening!"
I was stunned and suddenly remembered Lorenzo's words before he left, telling me to fulfill any requests these four people had!
Poor me, a virgin and a sunny boy, was I really going to be taken by this tall, strong woman in front of me?
Absolutely not, I had to summon Alicia at the very least; I could not be coerced without understanding the reason why.
Just as I was about to call for help, the short guy tugged at the strong woman's knee. "Alright, stop scaring him, or you'll freak him out so bad he can't have kids!"
The strong woman rolled her eyes at him but let go of me.
The thin guy nodded at me. "Alright, make coffee for the four of us."
With that, they turned around and found a place to sit down.
It was then that I realized the tall, strong woman and the short guy were a couple, and the fat woman and the thin guy were a couple—they were holding hands as they walked to the table!
Oh my god, the world was full of wonders.
I shrugged and took out the key from the drawer, then turned around and opened the safe.
The safe had two layers, the lower layer was a locked drawer, and there were four black coffee cups arranged in sequence of tall, short, fat, and thin in the upper layer, which was so interesting.
These four coffee cups were truly beyond words. Their rims were encrusted with thick coffee stains, visible lip marks, and emitted a faint, unpleasant odor.
As I removed the four coffee cups, I discovered that they were all crafted from black porcelain, boasting smooth surfaces that reflected a deep black hue under the lamp.
I looked at the four people sitting upright: "What kind of coffee would you like?"
The fat woman turned to look at me. "Didn't Lorenzo tell you?"
I smiled bitterly and shook my head.
"You just need to fill each cup with water, and it will be a cup of coffee."
I was stunned, thinking there were such magical cups?
Without thinking much, I hurriedly grabbed the cups to wash them, but the thin guy stopped me. "Hey, our coffee cups have never been washed. If you wash them, you won't be able to make good coffee!"
By this time, I was no longer surprised. I took the cups and filled them with hot water. Sure enough, as soon as each cup was filled with water, a rich coffee aroma wafted out, and the plain water turned into coffee.
This scene appeared vividly in front of me, and even though I was prepared, I still found it somewhat unbelievable.
I carefully carried the tray with the four cups of coffee over and distributed them according to the shape of the cups.
The short man chuckled. "You've got it mixed up; my cup is actually the tallest one!"
I was taken aback for a moment, then quickly swapped the cups around: the tallest one to the short guy, the shortest to the tall, strong woman; the thickest to the thin guy, and the thinnest to the fat woman.
Finally, they all nodded in satisfaction.
I went back to the bar and watched them sip their coffee. I couldn't help but wonder who they were. Their looks alone would definitely turn heads if they walked down the street.
As I was lost in thought, a man in a black trench coat pushed the door open and walked in. He glanced at me, then headed straight for the four people.
They whispered something to him, and he turned to look at me, seemingly in disbelief, and said a few more words to them.
After that, the man walked over to the bar and asked, "Hey, when's Mr. Williams coming back?"
I looked into his hawk-like eyes. "Mr. Williams said he'd be back in three days."
"Oh." He nodded. "I'd like to get a cup of Worry-Free Coffee, with less sugar."
Worry-Free Coffee? What the heck was that?
Lorenzo had told me about all the different types of coffee in the shop, and I went through them in my mind, but I didn't remember him mentioning that one.
"You don't know Worry-Free Coffee?" The man asked, raising an eyebrow.
I scratched my head, feeling a bit embarrassed. "Sorry, I've only been here a few days, and Mr. Williams didn't tell me how to..."
Before I could finish, the short guy stood up, downed the rest of his coffee, and walked over to the bar. Standing on tiptoes, he strained to reach and knocked on the counter twice. "The Worry-Free Coffee cup is in the lower section of the safe. Make him a cup."
So, the Worry-Free Coffee cup was like those black ceramic ones they always used.
Since it was a customer's request and the short guy had guided me, I found the key to the lower drawer of the safe and opened it.
Weirdly, the drawer had several fist-sized iron boxes.
The first one had a label that read "Worry-Free Coffee."
I took out the iron box and gently opened it, revealing a black crescent-shaped coffee cup.
It looked exactly like the white one Alicia had, except for the color!
At that moment, the other three had finished their coffee, called out to the short guy, nodded at me, and then left.
I stood there for a moment, realizing these strange folks hadn't paid. Figuring they'd be back next Monday anyway, I put it on their tab.
The trench coat guy looked at me anxiously, clearly wanting his coffee ASAP.
The short guy had just told me to make it the same way as their coffee, so I poured hot water into the black jade cup.
A refreshing aroma wafted up, with a faint coffee scent mixed with a hint of grass, making me feel refreshed and light.
I took a deep sniff, then carefully handed the cup to the man.
As I looked at him, my heart suddenly tightened, and I almost dropped the coffee cup!
