Chapter 2
"Ash, baby..." Sirius tried to look into his sister's eyes rather than her big, white and springy chest. "You know I have to go to work. It's also an emergency. I'll be right back when I'm done." He answered.
"Hmm... Alright." Ashley hugged her brother and rested her head on Sirius's firm, broad chest. Sirius immediately hugged her tightly again, while stroking his little sister's back. Ashley loved this warm feeling. She feels safe and loved. Sirius was always by her side, good or bad. Her brother was the most important and dearest person to her in this entire world.
After Ashley was on campus and said goodbye. Sirius kissed her forehead affectionately and told her to go home with the driver and bodyguards who was already on guard later. Ashley got out of the car and stared at the line of cars that drove her away until they disappeared from the campus gates.
Ashley, steadily stepped on her favorite campus. This is a famous and big college in this city. Made her more excited to learn and compete for a better feature. It wasn't long before a young girl of her age called her. It's Jean. Her best friend in high school. She also entered this college. They then walked together to their first class.
"So, you think you like your step brother more than before?" Jean asked in a low whisper. She and Ashley were currently having lunch in the large, terraced campus cafeteria. Eager to get a closer look at the gardens and fountains, Ashley suggested they have lunch downstairs.
"Yeah. I think so. I always blush every time I see Bubba. I love him because Bubba is the one who is always there for me. He is the only family I have left. He also really cares and loves me no matter what my situation is. Also... He looks deadly gorgeous." Ashley covered her face while shaking her head vigorously. She remembered every time her handsome brother woke her up, or the big burly body he showed every time he finished taking a shower and was only wrapped in a towel around his waist. Oh! Ashley grew even more embarrassed when she remembered getting there. She doesn't understand her own mind. Since when did she start thinking about her Bubba like that?
"Eeh... Ash you need to stop. Your head can come off, if you keep going like that." Jean held back her head that kept shaking because Ashley couldn't stop thinking about her overly sexy brother. She was sure at this moment her face must be like a boiled shrimp. "Oh my gosh you're really in love huh. Your face is so red." Jean laughed so loudly that it attracted the attention of those around them even for a moment.
"Shh... Stop it Jean! I'm embarrassed! But yeah, what about it? Am I wrong? Bubba is my brother." Ashley is suddenly gloomy and becomes sad. "You're guys are step-siblings aren’t you?" Asked Jean to which Ashley nodded. "That means there's nothing wrong. None a bit wrong. You're not siblings or have blood ties at all. So that's fine." Jean answered, giving a thumbs up which made Ashley smile in relief.
"That's true, but what if Bubba doesn't feel the same the way I do?" Ashley was sad again. She was afraid that if she clearly showed her feelings, her brother would feel uncomfortable and walk away from her. "How about you finding it out?" Jean suggested. "How exactly?" Ashley tilted her head, making her looked really cute. "Ask directly?" Jean smiled widely when she saw her friend's surprised expression. "Impossible!" Ashley whispered half screaming. "I don't want to! That's embarrassing! And if Bubba doesn't feel the same the way I do, he'll think I'm weird and stay away from me." Ashley shook her head. Trying to get rid of the fantasy of her brother who doesn't want to be close to her anymore.
"Hehe, sorry I just wanted to see your reaction." Jean scratched the back of her head. "What if you act even more spoiled than usual? If he accepts it and even responds happily. It's likely that your brother likes you too. If he doesn't respond or has a strange expression on his face, it means he only has feelings as a brother for you." Jean said obviously.
Ashley nodded at Jean's suggestion and planned to do so when her Bubba came home. "By the way, I wonder why you call him Bubba, when his name is Sirius." Ask Jean. "Didn't I ever tell you?" Ashley asked again, Jean replied shaking her head. "When I was little, I couldn't say "brother" so I used to say "Bubba". Finally, until now, I call him as Bubba, as well as his pet name." She clearly smiled, remembering that her brother also called her baby or princess.
"Ohhh .. your tongue was short when you were little." Jean's comment responded to that explanation. The two of them giggled and continued their conversation. Not far from their table a few of Ashley's bodyguards dressed like normal college students were also sitting at lunch. They disguised themselves as students so as not to make Ashley uncomfortable and also not to attract the attention of others.
Meanwhile, a group of male students sitting at a table in the corner of the room looked at the two girls. They talk about how beautiful and sexy the girl with long black hair is. They even talk indecently commenting on Ashley's body which is indeed perfect. Her skin is white and smooth, making them salivate looking at it for a long time. Meanwhile Ashley didn't notice the mischievous stares on her.
Until Ashley was home, she was still thinking about her brother. Did Sirius like her too? Or maybe he already has a girlfriend out there? His brother is very handsome. There is no way that such a perfect face and body does not have a woman at all. Ashley thought sadly.
Meanwhile, Sirius is currently in the process of interrogating his employees who guard his warehouse of illegal firearms. He lost fourteen new weapons that he had just finished crafting. His anger was running high and everyone was standing with their heads down and their bodies shaking. A man lay on the ground covered in blood, with a shattered face and broken hands. Even the man's eyeballs were out of place. He was the man who had been staring at Ashley this morning with a perverted gaze. Made Sirius angrier and took it out on the spot.
"Well, at least you're smart when you don't run away. So your death could be quick and easy. I'm just adding some spice because you've been presumptuous of looking at my beloved with those disgusting eyes of yours." Sirius said expressionlessly as he stared at the man's corpse flatly.
"All of you. Anyone want to follow him?" Sirius asked. Look around carefully. There are 30 people who guard and work in the armory. All men. Now they all have more than 50 people, the rest are his other subordinates, he brought specifically to execute traitors around them.
They just stood still and didn't dare to move. Ah. That's right, who wants to seek death by attracting the attention of an angry beast? Suddenly there were gunshots and screams from outside. Get them all on alert. Several guards directly protected their boss. Sirius gave the code for all of them to take their positions and stand guard. They are attacked.
Less than an hour later, Sirius and his group managed to subdue the attacker. They are a gang of robbers who are still amateurs and ignorant. They were the ones who stole the guns a few nights ago. It was their recklessness and stupidity that made them all die tonight.
Sirius was cleaning his gun, and was sitting on the table wiping his gun. "Clean up these filth. Don't let them stain my territory." Sirius ordered his men to dispose of the bodies and remains of the robbers, as well as two of his men who betrayed him. Of course he knew who the traitor was among them. There was no way such an amateur and weak robber could steal from him, if no one helped.
Sirius's phone vibrated in his pocket and he took a deep breath. Who dared to call him at this hour? It must be midnight. If there is nothing urgent from his subordinates then there is only one person who can contact him freely at this time.
That's right, the call was from his beloved sister, Ashley. He immediately picked it up. Ashley never called this late, unless it was really important.
"Baby? What's wrong?" Sirius answered the phone with a flat tone and his handsome face without any expression. He didn't hear an answer, instead he heard his sister's sobs. "Baby? What's wrong, princess?" Sirius was now standing straight, even though his tone and face didn't show any expression. In his heart, he was very worried.
"Bub-Bubba..." Ashley cried. Sirius's chest felt like someone was squeezing and pressing it, until it hurt, when he heard his sister's cry. He most disliked his Ashley who was cheerful and full of the light of his happiness to be sad and in tears. "Yes, baby girl. What's wrong? Any problem? Are you there alone?" Sirius started walking out of the barn and toward his car. Her expression didn't change, her tone softened slightly. He gave the code to the driver who was waiting for them to return to the mansion.
Ashley's next answer stunned Sirius. "Bubba... Do you really dislike me? That you love and marry someone else?"
