Chapter 5-Female Alpha

KYROUS’S POV.

“You look extra hot tonight, my love. The whole pack and kingdom are so excited to have you as their Luna, Lucinda. Strip and show me what that gorgeous body of yours can do. The moon goddess assured me that you would bear me children and an heir as strong as I am would emerge.

“ Yes, my love, I am ready to do whatever you ask of me tonight.

I cannot particularly explain how I feel about this woman; her body excites me, her skin is sportless and each time I have a glimpse of it, it turns me on. Her body is perfect and I could never wish for a better partner. I grabbed Lucinda by the arm and kissed her on the lips and before I knew it, she pushed me on the bed and got on top of me.

“Energy! I like that type of stuff.

“You are the king by day but by night, you are my little butterfly.

We kissed like never before; the night was blooming into a magical moment between me and my soon-to-be wife. We kissed and I almost ripped her apart because of the excitement. I was about to go naked when the distress bell rang and I unconsciously pushed Lucinda off of my body and she hit her head on the wooden part of the bed.

“Omg! Are you trying to kill me like you killed your father?

I was hopping mad at this point. I walked towards Lucinda and lifted her by the neck.

“What did you say to me?

With a crack in her voice and fear in her eyes, she spoke to me.

“I’m sorry, I didn't mean that.

"I will kill you with my bare hands if you ever repeat that, do you understand me?

"yes, my Lord.

The moment I took my hands off her, there was a knock on my door and I opened it and saw my guard panting. It looked like he had run through the staircase.

“What is the emergency?

“Juno, Juno…….

He tried to speak but he was losing his breath and he was gasping for air so he paused a bit to catch his breath but I was already impatient.

“Speak!

“She escaped!

“You incompetent fools! I told you all to watch over her!! You idiots couldn't pour water out of a boot with the instructions on the heels! Get my horse ready!!! Now!!

I rushed and wore my royal mantle on my way to head out but Lucinda held my arm.

“Are you going to bring her back alive?

"It's not your business; retire for the night.

I headed out. I had one goal in mind, which was to kill Juno. I was done with her. I had no use for her. Keeping her was of no use to me so this was the perfect opportunity for me to kill her. As I walked down the staircase, I saw the look on my stepmother’s face. She wasn't particularly happy about me ascending the throne, but there was nothing she could do. I promised to make life miserable for her and Varick however I could. I took my horse and went after my horsemen who were already chasing after Juno. It was only a short while before they caught up with her. They had pinned her on her knees by the time I highlighted from my horse.

“Look who we have here! You thought you could run away from me? I told you I was your god!!

I pulled her hair so she could look at my face.

“You piece of sh*t! Your place is in hell.

“I know that already poor Juno, but it is so sad that you will get there before me. And perhaps you could greet my father for me because I know his soul is burning in hell.

“I cannot wait to put a knife in your chest and watch you die.

“That would never happen, but you know what would happen? I would kill you at this very minute.

I pulled out my sword and moved backwards. I enjoyed watching Juno in that state; she was hopeless and it brought me great joy to see it.

“I would never give you the satisfaction of killing me.

Juno opened her neckless and gulped the poisonous substance on her neckless and in an instant, she dropped dead on the floor; she was unresponsive; I was disgruntled; she robbed me of the satisfaction of killing her; I moved closer to her but she was unresponsive; there was no Paulse.

“She is dead, Your Majesty; do you want us to bring back the body to the palace?

“No, leave it here; let the wild animals deal with it.

I wasn't particularly happy that Juno took her own life but I was happy I didn't have to deal with her anymore; there was no one to drag Astoria with me. I turned to leave but I was stopped by a very great noise—a noise that was filled with anger and rage. I turned and I saw Juno in a form I had never seen before. Her eyes were red and before I knew it, she killed three of my guards; they were lying lifeless on the ground. Her speed was nothing like I had ever seen before, and I won't deny the fact that I flinched for a few seconds.

“What? Impossible.

Juno transformed into her wolf form and had the eyes of an Alpha. I could not possibly explain how everything happened but she vanished into thin air before I could say or do anything.

“Find her!! Search the whole place; bring her back alive!! I do not want to see any of your miserable faces if you do not come back with her.

My guards went in search of Juno and I would say I was still in awe. I had never seen anyone with that type of speed and strength; whatever was in that neckless was surely going to make me stronger too and I wouldn’t stop until I found Juno and collected everything from her. This isn't over yet.
