Chapter 5
"Where have you two been?" Snake, the boss asked as Tanya and Laura stepped in.
"We went on some little business." Laura replied.
"Sit down." He ordered and they both nodded taking a seat.
"Now that they're here, we can move on to what we were saying. Like I said, this is a very important mission, it's not our usual petty crime work, this is bigger. That is why I've chosen our top thieves, Daniel, Tanya and Laura." Snake announced and the trio nodded.
Most of the members threw glares to their direction. They always got the better missions.
"They would be breaking into the Bloody-Fist mafia clan." Snake said, and Daniel choked on his drink, spitting it out, his eyes widening.
Laura and Tanya gave Danile curious glances, seems like they don't know about how powerful the clan was.
"I'm sorry boss, but that's way impossible. Do you want us to die, well equipped mobsters from other mafia clans can't even get in, and you expect us, petty thieves to be able to get through?" Daniel said.
Snake turned angry instantly, "Are you insane, how dare you cut me off! I was still talking. And who gave you the right to complain? You've destroyed other mafia clans this shouldn't be different. You three are going and that's final, make sure to take as many money as possible. I'm done here. You leave tonight, there's a car prepared for you three. I'm done here!"
With that said, Snake angrily got up and left into one of the rooms.
Some of the thieves slept here.
"You made him real angry Daniel, why?" Tanya said, immediately Snake left.
"I'm just trying to protect us. Do you know how dangerous that clan is? It's like we are walking into our own death trap." Daniel said, unsettled.
Tanya shook her head, "I don't believe, we've taken down about three mafia clans. I don't think it's as dangerous as you say, else boss won't send us on it."
"Tanya, those three clan we took down can't even be referred to as mafia's, they are just bunch of thugs, but you see this? This is the real mafia clan. "Daniel ran his fingers through his hair, "I'm telling you two now, it's dangerous, we can't do this."
"Then what do you wanna tell boss? Look we have to do it, atleast give it a try." Tanya said, not still believing that it's as dangerous as Daniel claims.
"Look I heard that the owner of the clan, his son is referred to as 'El Diablo'" Daniel said in a whisper.
"Oh, that's a lie!. The devil is only in hell. It's just to scare people away. Now if you don't mind, I'm going home, I've got to prepare for tonight. Bye Laura. " Tanya said, and left the hideout with the shopping bags.
Daniel sighed, "Laura what do you say?"
"I say you're right Daniel, but there's nothing we can do. We have to atleast give it a try like Tanya said." Laura replied.
"I hope this isn't the last time I breath." Daniel said, frustrated as he placed his forehead on the table.

"Dinner time!" Tanya shouted at her siblings who immediately came down stairs.
"Oh finally, I'm starving." Lila said, rushing to the dinning table.
Lily on the other hand was scrolling through her phone's gallery admiring her cute pictures.
"Hope you both love it, Chiles Rellenos." Tanya announced.
Lily's eyes lit up as she took her first bite. "Mmm, this is delicious, Tanya! You're the best!"
Lila nodded in agreement, her mouth full of food. Tanya smiled, happy to see her siblings enjoying the meal.
"I'm glad you both love it," Tanya said, smiling.
Lily and Lila cheered, savoring the roasted poblano peppers stuffed with cheese and coated in a light batter.
As they ate, Tanya's mind went to the mission, she just hopped it wasn't as dangerous as Daniel talked about it.
Her face suddenly sparkled remembering something, "Hey Lila, Lily. I have a surprise for you both."
"What's that?" Lily was the first to ask.
"Just wait a moment." Tanya said and began going up stairs.
Soon she came back down holding the shopping bags Laura helped her shop earlier.
"This is for you two!." Tanya said, handing one over to each of them.
"Wow. Thank you Tanya!!" Lily said, really excited as she checked the clothes in the shopping bag one by one eagerly.
Lila smiled for a moment, "Muchas gracias (thank you very much) Tanya." She said.
Tanya nodded, "You're welcome
I'm so happy you both like it."
"But Tanya, I'm not sure if this is what we need, right now."
"What do you mean, Lila?"
"Well, soon they'll send pupils home. Our school fees are unpaid." Lila replied.
"Oh." Tanya whispered, "Don't worry Lila, I've got that covered."
"Really?" Lila asked, her face brightening.
"Yes I'll pay soon." Tanya assured, thinking of the mission.
"Finally I can rest a bit." Lila said.
Lily on the hand looked so focused on taking selfies, not minding their
conversation.

The car came to a halt and they all sighed; Daniel, Tanya and Laura.
This was the Bloody-Fist mafia clan.
It was time for the mission and they were here........
