Chapter 15

"Sebastian, what the hell are you doing? Let go of me!" Gloria yelled.

The door to the presidential suite flew open, and Gloria stumbled inside, dragged by Sebastian.

Panic surged through her as she struggled to break free and escape.

The door slammed shut behind her.

Sebastian suddenly let go of her hand.

Caught off guard, Gloria fell to the floor, but her first instinct was still to turn and try to open the door.

Sebastian was too dangerous.

She couldn't endure his torment.

"Are you trying to run?" Sebastian asked.

The sharp crease of his suit pants blocked her path.

Sebastian crouched in front of her, gripping her chin, his handsome face cold and unyielding. "Didn't you want money? You'd sell yourself to a drunk for cash, so why the act now?"

Sebastian had removed his glasses at some point, and the aggression in his eyes was terrifying.

Gloria's heart tightened, but she forced herself to stay calm. "I told you, it was a misunderstanding. He forced me."

Sebastian narrowed his eyes. "A misunderstanding? What about you working at the bar these past few days? Another misunderstanding?"

Gloria bit her lip, staying silent.

Sebastian added, "You didn't want to go with him because he didn't offer enough money, right?"

Sebastian's words cut deep, his eyes full of disdain.

Gloria's eyes flickered, and she bit her lip so hard that it nearly bled.

She didn't think there was anything wrong with wanting to survive.

To live, she needed money.

But no respectable place would hire her.

What else could she do?

Sebastian was right. If that man had agreed to her price, she might not have refused.

She just wanted to live.

But seeing the contempt in Sebastian's eyes, a part of her still ached.

Sebastian's voice sounded again, like a devil's whisper. "If you want money, I can give it to you. You know what you need to do."

With that, Sebastian released her and walked steadily to the bed, sitting down and looking down at her.

There was nothing stopping her from leaving if she wanted to.

But Gloria just knelt on the floor, her eyes cold.

As she expected, Sebastian was humiliating her in this way.

If she ran now, it would only lead to more severe torment from Sebastian.

Gloria lowered her eyes, forcing a bitter smile.

She had no choice left.

Gloria slowly stood up and walked over to Sebastian.

Sebastian's gaze followed her, finally settling on her face, devoid of any warmth, filled only with judgment.

Time hadn't left any marks on his face, only made his presence more imposing.

Gloria thought she was numb, but under his gaze, she still felt humiliated.

She awkwardly raised her hand, not knowing where to place it.

Three years ago, when she passionately pursued Sebastian, she had imagined countless times how she would seduce him, make him fall for her.

But now, standing here, Gloria realized that fantasies were just fantasies.

She didn't have the courage to touch him, especially after these three years.

Her tentative hand was suddenly grabbed.

Before she could react, she was spun around and fell awkwardly onto Sebastian's lap.

"You've already sold your body. Didn't QL Bar train you for this? You think you can make money like this?" Sebastian's voice was close, dripping with sarcasm.

Gloria frowned, staying silent.

Her injuries hadn't healed, and Sebastian's rough handling made the pain worse.

Her silence only made Sebastian more displeased. "Or are you waiting for me to make the first move?"

Hearing this, Gloria's body stiffened.

Sebastian's eyes narrowed, his tone dangerous. "Gloria, my patience is limited..."

Before he could finish, Gloria leaned in and kissed him, trying to appease him.

She couldn't imagine the torment if she waited for him to make the first move.

Her body couldn't take any more.

Gloria's dry, soft lips touched his, sending a jolt through him, spreading quickly.

Sebastian's mind went blank for a moment, but his body moved instinctively.

He grabbed the back of Gloria's neck, pulling her closer, deepening the kiss.

Gloria was unprepared, and in the moment their lips met, she forgot to breathe.

The next second, she was pressed down on the bed by Sebastian.

Gloria's eyes widened in panic, the tension making her pain worse.

She tried to push him away, but the pain left her weak.

Sebastian noticed her distress, and Gloria's face was pale, her breathing weak.

He wanted to accuse her of rejecting him, accepting a drunk but suffering from his kiss.

Gloria grabbed his wrist, her voice full of pleading. "Sebastian, it hurts. Help me!"

Sebastian followed her gaze to see her clutching her stomach.

As he stood up, Gloria curled into a ball, cold sweat dripping onto the sheets.

She looked like she was in extreme pain.

The agitation in Sebastian's blood cooled instantly.

He frowned and called his private doctor.

The doctor didn't ask many questions, confirming the location and agreeing to come.

Hanging up, Sebastian looked at Gloria on the bed. "What happened?"

Gloria gasped in pain, her voice broken. "My internal organs were injured. I saw a doctor this morning, and he gave me medication."

"Where's the medicine?" Sebastian frowned.

Gloria's voice grew weaker. "I don't know. I lost it."

She had dropped her medicine while struggling with the drunk, and Sebastian's sudden appearance hadn't given her a chance to retrieve it.

Now, it was probably thrown away as trash.

Hearing this, Sebastian's frown deepened.

Three years in prison had changed Gloria, making her unrecognizable.

But this reminded him that Gloria was once a pampered heiress.

Without the Russell family, Gloria had no survival skills, unable to take care of herself.

Sebastian left the room.

With the door closed, the danger he brought disappeared.

The room fell into silence.

Gloria lay curled on the bed for a long time, the pain growing worse, the grievances of the past flooding her heart.

A tear slipped from the corner of her eye.

Gloria sniffled softly.

She missed her parents and brother.

If they saw her like this, they would be heartbroken.

It was her own fault for not knowing where to find them and for ending up like this.
