Chapter 4 :: You can’t take what you give out

coming out from the back she saw Aldwin Rush standing in front of his car waiting for her to come out. “Is that tears I see?” he asked and she wiped her face with her hands. “Mr. Rush what are you doing here?” he grins dangling a phone on her face. somehow she is on the video he had filmed her crying. “Wow isn't this a golden moment, you thought you were anything like me,” He says while walking closer to her. “I can't be anything like you, Mr. Rush,” she says in reply. “Good thing you know,” he says, staring at her; “that wasn't a compliment, you didn't let me finish” he glares at her. “I can't be at on your level; cos to be there, I would have to stoop to your level for that to happen Mr. Rush” he gets infuriated by my words. “You are nothing you hear me Kia Ray nothing” I flushed. “This nothing seems to be giving you a lot of headaches Mr. Rush” he turns to her calmly again. “well i got what i wanted though so it doesn't matter what you say”. “But are you satisfied though?” she asks seeing the anger on his face. “What did you just say?” he stopped turning back to her. “i believe you thought seeing me get fired would give you the satisfaction so i ask again are you satisfied?” he knew she was right, and that got him angrier. “Nothing can fill that little boy inside you begging to be loved” she says to him and that got to him.

That night she cried while watching Aries sleep. Aldwin returned home being hunted by his childhood memories. People bullied him so much until he became this person. Kia Ray seems to have a strategy for getting through to him. When he saw he was starting to draw attention he turned to leave. “this is far from over” he turned to leave and Julia ran after him. “Mr. Rush I will still get the 20 thousand you promised me right?” “You just made me look like a fool in there, why didn't you say you were not her mom when I picked you up from the airport?” He stared at Her but she flushed “Well you said you were going to pay twenty thousand bucks, I can tell you what can hurt her if you like?” Julia says and he brought out the envelop. “Now spill” he says and she started talking.
