Moonlit legacy

Kira has always had strange episodes of forgetfulness, confusion, and waking up far from home with no idea how she got there. She has assumed that it is due to stress from work and school. The last thing she needs is to be dragged to a strange small town for the funeral of a father she hated all her life. Once she arrives at the funeral, she observes two peculiar things. One, everyone stares at her like they know something about her that she doesn’t know yet. Two, the townsfolk talk with reverence about the full moon. What is the secret that she isn't yet party to?
