Chapter 3 Twin Alphas Sharing One Luna

Eden's POV

The serious one spoke. "I am Adrian," he said, then pointed to his twin. "This is my brother Maxim. You are our mate."

Mate? What’s that mean? My mind raced with scary thoughts. Was I being made into some kind of sex slave for these two men?

Maxim's fingers traced my jawline, making me shiver. "What's your name, little one?"

I kept my head down, too scared to look at either of them. "Eden," I whispered.

"Eden," Maxim repeated, like he was tasting my name. "Such a beautiful name."

He started unwrapping the ropes from my wrists, gently rubbing the red marks. "Don't worry, we won't hurt you. You're very important to us."

The blood rushed back into my fingers. I rubbed my wrists. Though the bindings on my hands had been loosened, I still felt invisible restraints tethering me.

Maxim pulled me into his arms and kissed my temple.

I stiffened in his embrace. I stiffened in his arms. His gesture confirmed my earlier suspicion - was I meant to be a sex slave?

Adrian watched us with a blank face. Then, surprisingly, he reached out and gently stroked my cheek.

"Give her some time, Maxim," Adrian said. "She doesn't understand who we are yet. Or who she is."

Maxim pouted but didn't let me go. "Do you know what werewolves are, Eden?"

My heart raced faster. I shook my head, remembering only the scary stories from the orphanage about monsters in the forest.

Adrian’s thumb brushed my lower lip, making me catch my breath. "You are the werewolf, just like us."

I stammered, "I don't understand... I'm just a normal person... this can't be..."

Maxim kissed me. "No, darling. You're a half-blood werewolf."

Adrian stood up, looking serious. "Since you don't understand who you are, we'll prove it to you."

He started unbuttoning his shirt.

I nervously looked away, but couldn't help peeking. When he took off his shirt, I saw a perfectly muscled chest and stomach.

"Look at me," he said, his voice firm. "See the world you're about to join."

Suddenly, Adrian's body began to change.

I covered my mouth in shock, my eyes wide as I watched the impossible happen right in front of me.

Where Adrian had stood moments ago, there was now a huge white wolf. It was more than twice the size of any normal wolf, with powerful muscles moving under its fur.

The most striking thing was its eyes—once ice-blue, now bright red, but still showing the same intelligence as when they were human.

I tried to back away, but Maxim held my shoulders firmly. "Don't be afraid. He won't hurt you. This is what we really are."

The wolf came toward me slowly, as if giving me time to understand what I was seeing.

When those red eyes looked into mine, something amazing happened. I heard a voice—not through my ears, but directly in my mind:

"This is the werewolf. We can shift."

The voice was deep and serious, definitely Adrian's.

I gasped. "I... I can hear him talking... in my head..."

Maxim tightened his grip on me. "You can understand what he's saying?"

I nodded in confusion, not understanding why I was experiencing this phenomenon. Could it be that I was truly a werewolf?

The great wolf stepped back, and his body twisted and reformed, gradually returning to human form.

Adrian stood bare-chested, looking down at me coldly. "This proves who you are. Normal humans can't hear a werewolf's thoughts."

My mind went blank, as if I had lost the ability to think. I was afraid of their forms, but was told that I was just like them.

"Do you understand now?" Adrian asked coldly.

Maxim added enthusiastically, "And you're our Luna! It's perfect! Twin Alphas sharing one Luna—it's destiny."

I still couldn't understand what was happening. "What... is a Luna?"

Adrian explained flatly, "A Luna is the mate of an Alpha, second only to the Alpha in the pack. The Silver Fang Pack needs a Luna to continue our bloodline."

Maxim's hands moved on my back. "Simply put, you'll be our wife, Eden."

I shook my head frantically. "No... I can't... I don't want..."

Adrian cut me off coldly. "You have no choice. This is fate, arranged by the Moon Goddess."

"Don't worry," Maxim said, though his words didn't comfort me. "We'll protect you, treasure you. Everything will be fine as long as you do what we say."

When I heard his words, my blood ran cold. Were they buying me just to have me with them?

But I didn't even know them! I didn't want to be bound to strangers! It was too terrifying for me, I didn't want my fate to be in the hands of others, which was one of the reasons I dropped out of high school.

But it seemed like I had no ability to refuse, thinking back to the terrifying wolf form and the growl in the auction, I feared that refusing would only put me in greater danger.

Adrian asked, "Do you have any important things in the human world that you need? We can send someone to get them."

I shook my head hopelessly as silent tears fell. There had never been anything in my life worth keeping.

"We should leave," Adrian said, putting his shirt back on. "This isn't the place for this conversation."

Maxim pulled me to my feet, gentle but firm. "Come on."

My legs felt weak, steps unsteady, a result of both shock and fear. But I pushed myself to keep moving forward, afraid to slow down their pace.

A sleek black luxury car waited at the entrance, its door sliding open silently.

"Please get in," Adrian said politely, gesturing toward the backseat.

I climbed cautiously into the car, the thought of being confined in this cramped space with them sending shivers down my spine.

The brothers sat on either side of me, though they left me enough space to breathe.

"Raise the partition," Adrian told the driver. "Take us to the downtown apartment."

"Yes, sir," the driver replied respectfully.

As the partition rose, the car became quiet.

I sat stiffly, trying to minimize my presence, avoiding touching any of them.

I could feel them glancing at me occasionally, but they weren't as threatening as I had feared.

Maxim broke the silence. "She's so quiet." He sounded concerned.

Adrian responded calmly, "Give her time. Anyone would need time to adjust."

I remained silent, not wanting to speak. But it seemed they didn't require a response from me either.

The car drove into the underground garage of a luxury apartment building.

My last shred of hope dwindled. I felt that once I stepped into their domain, escaping would only become more difficult.

As the gates opened, a huge and lavish top-floor apartment came into view, widening my eyes.

Adrian said coolly. "We'll spend the night here and go to the pack territory tomorrow."

Maxim excitedly pointed toward the inside. "There are four bedrooms over there. You'll sleep in the master bedroom—with us."

Fear gripped me, my throat dry, body tense. I hadn't expected to fulfill my duties as a sex slave so quickly, especially under these circumstances. My breathing became irregular.

Adrian gave Maxim a cold look. "Stop scaring her. She'll have her own room tonight."

Maxim pouted but didn't argue. "Fine, but don't make me wait too long."

Standing in the center of the room, I sighed in relief. But in the next moment, black spots began to appear in my vision.

The room began to spin, then everything went dark as my body fell forward and I passed out.
