For four years, Nat has tried to move on. She built a new life, convinced herself that the man who vanished without a word was just a ghost from her past. But the past doesn’t stay buried. 

Because he’s back. 

And he’s been watching. 

An FBI agent with dangerous obsessions, a man who was never truly gone. He knows where she goes, who she sees, the way she looks at the world when she thinks no one is watching. But he’s always watching. 

She gives him one chance. 

One moment to stop her from walking away forever. 

All he has to do is say the words. Tell her he loves her. 

But he can’t. 

And when she closes the door on him, he spirals. 

His control fractures. His hunger consumes him. 

And as he stalks the edges of her life, waiting for the moment to take back what’s his, one question remains.
