Chapter 6 Sylvia van Jan Sasbrink 4
"you are Mattie, General Raul Is your client?" Abigail asks Mattie.
"yes, but he's not my favorite client," Mattie said and looked at Walker.
"how can I prove the story of General Raul is a truth?" Abigail asked.
"believe me," Mattie said.
Abigail walked forward and looked at Walker. "what do you think? Is it true?"
Walker thought carefully before answering, "It's hard to believe, but a book is an important proof."
"how do we do?"
"Please take Mattie to your hotel, I will toward Royal castle for reports to her about Sylvia."
"Are you crazy?" Abigail yelled. "That's dangerous!"
Walker smirked. "I've been in worse situations."
Abigail crossed her arms, glaring at him. "Sneaking into the royal castle with just a book and no solid plan? That's suicide."
Walker held up the small ledger he had taken from the storage room. "This book has General Raul's name in it. If he's connected to illegal dealings here, it could be enough to raise suspicion. If I can get an audience with Queen Mia-Selina or Princess Crystina, maybe I can plant the first seed of doubt in their minds."
Mattie, who had been silent until now, shifted nervously. "If you want proof, I can tell you something else."
Both Walker and Abigail turned to her.
Mattie took a deep breath. "Raul isn't just visiting this place for fun. He comes here to meet someone. A man who wears a black hood and never shows his face. I don't know his name, but I've heard Raul call him 'The Shadow Broker.' Every time they meet, they exchange something—documents, gold, sometimes even weapons."
Walker's expression darkened. "If Raul is conspiring with someone in secret, that could be our leverage."
Abigail shook her head. "Even if we expose this, it won't prove that Sylvia is innocent."
"No," Walker admitted. "But it will discredit Raul. If we can prove he's involved in corruption, the court might start doubting his accusations against Sylvia."
Abigail sighed. "Fine. But you're still insane."
She turned to Mattie. "Come with me. You'll be safer at the inn."
Mattie hesitated. "What if they come looking for me?"
"I'll protect you," Abigail promised.
Walker tightened his grip on the book. "Then I'll head to the castle. Wish me luck."
Abigail rolled her eyes. "You're gonna need more than luck, idiot."
With that, they parted ways—Abigail leading Mattie toward safety, while Walker disappeared into the shadows, heading toward the Royal palace, of Terulantis.
the Royal Castle is one of most beautiful buildings in Terulantis, but only few people can enter the castle. There is always guard around. There is also big wall surrounding the castle. The guards are very strong and tall. They wear white uniform with red trim. Inside the walls of the castle there is the courtyard, the rooms where the queen and princess lives, the court, the jail, the library, the throne room, the kitchen, the garden, the armory, the stables, the gymnasium, the workshop, the quarters for the guards, the offices, and many other places.
Walker walked through the castle's inner courtyard. He was careful to avoid being seen by the guards stationed at the outer gates. His path took him past the royal palace, where Queen Mia-Selina sat on the balcony overlooking the courtyard.
"Map activated," Walker said.
Guide to Queen Mia-Selina 's chamber
A Hologram of a map appeared in front of him.
Walker followed the map until he found an open gate leading into the royal palace. As soon as he stepped inside, the map vanished.
He immediately spotted the two guards standing watch near the entrance to the queen's chambers.
He appears in A holographic again and shows Princess Chamber connected to Queen Mia-Selina 's chamber.
"Ok, guide," Walker said.
Guide to Princess Chamber
A Hologram of a map appeared in front of him.
He followed the map until he found the door to Princess Crystina's chambers. he entered the room.
Walker found Princess lying on the bed, reading a book.
Walker approached her slowly. "Princess, I have some information for you."
Princess Crystina looked up from the book. Her expression was blank. She didn't say anything.
"I'm not to hurt you anymore, please trust me," Walker said and bowed
"How you can enter my room? " Princess Crystina said. "Who are you?"
"I'm Woody Walker, Sylvia's future husband."
"Sylvia? Where is she now?"
"She's in a safe place. I'd like you to testify in court to clear her name."
Princess Crystina blinked. "But how you can help her?"
"I'll explain everything later," Walker said. "Please, you must trust me—"
"How do I know you're telling me the truth? How can I believe you?"
Walker considered the question. "Because I love Sylvia."
"Love? You mean you're in love with her? That's impossible! you are a commoner!"
"Why would you think that?" he asked.
"Sylvia and me... we are friends. We talk every day. She told me about her life, her problems... and she is a knight even though she is a royal court."
"Please, Take me to your mom...Queen Mia-Selina." Walker said.
"You must be crazy," Princess Crystina said. "That's impossible!"
"It's the only way to save Sylvia's reputation."
"How can I trust you?"
"There is a reason why I am here."
"ok," Princess Crystina said. "follow me."
Walker followed her to the door connected to Queen Mia-Selina's chamber, he noticed Queen Mia-Selina was sitting in her chamber. Queen Mia-Selina is beautiful. She is tall and thin, she has long, black hair, green eyes, pale skin, and large breasts. She wears a gown made of white silk and blue crystals. She looks like a goddess.
"Mom" Princess Crystina said.
"Crystina, who is he?" Queen Mia-Selina asked.
"A man named Woody Walker is Sylvia's lover."
"What does he want?"
Princess Crystina hesitated. "To save Sylvia's reputation."
"Interesting." she said. "but General Raul is proof Sylvia is a traitor."
"No!, Queen! General Raul is plotting treason. He's working with a man named, The Shadow Broker. Together they're planning to overthrow the kingdom and seize control of Terulantis."
Walker sent a book from The Last Resort to Queen Mia-Selina.
"So you're Sylvia's lover?" Queen Mia-Selina asked. "How could that be?"
"I fell in love with her at first sight," Walker said. "And I'm sure Sylvia feels the same way."
"You're a commoner, so how you can marry a princess?"
Queen Mia-Selina pursed her lips. "Terulantis is a big country, we're surrounded by enemies. I don't want to risk our lives."
"I understand," Walker said. "If you allow me to prove Sylvia's innocence, I swear I'll repay you tenfold."
Queen Mia-Selina nodded.
Suddenly the soldiers entered the room. They surround Walker and Princess Crystina.
"That's not our guard," Queen Mia-Selina said.
"What happened? What's going on?" Princess Crystina asked.
"Finally queen knows everything," General Raul said and walked towards them.
"Is it true you're working with The Shadow Broker?" Queen Mia-Slina asks.
General Raul smirked, his sharp eyes gleaming with confidence. "You always were perceptive, Your Majesty," he said. "Yes, it's true. The Shadow Broker and I have aligned our interests—for the future of Terulantis."
Queen Mia-Selina's expression hardened. "You mean for your own ambitions."
Walker instinctively moved closer to Princess Crystina, shielding her from the soldiers who had infiltrated the chamber. "General Raul, if you go through with this, you will destroy the kingdom you swore to protect," Walker said.
Raul let out a low chuckle. "Spare me your moralizing, commoner. The world is changing, and the royal family is unfit to rule in these times." He turned to Queen Mia-Selina. "You were a fine queen, but your reign ends today."
With a snap of his fingers, the soldiers raised their weapons.
"Get behind me!" Walker whispered to Crystina.
The princess hesitated, her hands trembling, but she obeyed.
"You underestimate me, Raul," Queen Mia-Selina said coldly. "This is still my castle."
She raised her hand, and at that moment, a piercing whistle echoed through the room.
The doors behind Raul burst open, and royal guards—clad in their signature white and red uniforms—stormed in. The queen's personal elite guard, far stronger and better trained than Raul's infiltrators, swiftly overpowered the enemy soldiers.
Raul's smirk vanished. He drew his sword, preparing for a fight.
Walker wasted no time. He lunged forward, intercepting Raul before he could reach the queen. Their blades clashed, sparks flying as they exchanged rapid strikes.
"You fool!" Raul snarled. "You think you can defeat me?"
Walker gritted his teeth, pushing back against Raul's sword. "I don't have to. I just need to stall you long enough."
From the corner of his eye, Walker saw Queen Mia-Selina stepping toward the throne, activating a hidden mechanism. A section of the floor opened, revealing a secret chamber beneath.
"Crystina, Walker—inside, now!" the queen commanded.
Walker disengaged from Raul and grabbed Princess Crystina's wrist, pulling her toward the chamber. The queen followed, and as soon as they were inside, the hidden passage was sealed behind them.
They were safe—for now.
But the fight for Terulantis was far from over.
Walker took a deep breath as the hidden passage sealed behind them. Princess Crystina clutched his arm, her face pale with shock.
Queen Mia-Selina exhaled sharply. "We don't have much time. Raul won't stop until he has complete control."
Walker tightened his grip on his sword. "Then we take the fight to him."
Before the queen could respond, a loud explosion shook the castle. The walls trembled, dust falling from the ceiling.
Walker's earpiece crackled to life.
"Walker, are you alive?" Abigail's voice came through.
"I'm here. Where are you?"
"Sylvia and I are outside the royal chambers. We took out some of Raul's men, but he has reinforcements coming. We need to move fast."
Walker smirked. "Then let's make this count."
With a nod from the queen, he pressed a hidden lever inside the chamber. A section of the wall slid open, revealing a hidden exit leading back into the castle corridors.
