You belong to us
The first Alpha’s smirk faltered for a moment, a flicker of something dangerous flashing in his eyes. The second Alpha’s gaze turned darker, more threatening.
“You’re going to regret that,” the first one said, his tone colder now, each word laced with venom. “You don’t have a choice in the matter. You are our mate.”
I shook my head, taking a step back, the fear gripping me tighter now, but the defiance in me flared up. “No. I don’t care what you think. I’m not yours. I don’t belong to anyone.”
The second Alpha stepped forward, his eyes narrowing with something darker, something more dangerous than I’d ever seen. “You’ll learn soon enough, pup,” he growled. “You will belong to us.”
I could feel the weight of their words, the pressure building in the air around me, suffocating me. They weren’t just claiming me as a mate, they were taking me.
“No,” I repeated, though my voice shook. I wasn’t going to let them take me. I wasn’t going to just roll over and accept this, no matter how powerful they were.
The first Alpha chuckled darkly, a low, menacing sound. “We’ll see about that. You’re ours now, whether you like it or not.”
Before I could even react, his hand shot out, gripping my wrist with terrifying force, pulling me closer. My breath hitched as I tried to pull away, but his grip was unyielding. The second Alpha moved in, his eyes gleaming with malicious intent.
“You’ll learn to submit,” he said, the words carrying a threat that made my blood run cold.
I could feel the tension crackling in the air, the finality of their claim closing in around me. There was no escape. No way out.
I tried to struggle, to break free, but my body, weakened and broken, couldn’t do much. With one final tug, the first Alpha dragged me forward, his hand tightening around my wrist, forcing me to follow.
“You’ll be ours, whether you want it or not,” he repeated, his voice a low growl as they began to drag me away, my resistance nothing more than a fleeting whisper in the wind.
....
I woke up with a sharp jolt, my body rocking violently. Cold air lashed at my skin, and when I tried to move, I realized my hands were bound behind my back. Panic surged through me. I was in a car. The scent of leather and something deeply masculine filled my nose, though it wasn’t their scent. It was just the raw presence of them, the two Alphas sitting in the front seats.
“You’re awake,” one of them said.
I recognized his voice as the one who had first claimed me, low, dark, dangerous. He didn’t even bother turning around to look at me.
“Where are you taking me?” I rasped, my throat dry. “Home,” the other Alpha answered, his tone lighter but no less threatening.
I swallowed hard. “I don’t belong to you. I can’t be your mate”
“You don’t have a choice.” A chuckle, deep and mocking came from him.
My pulse pounded in my ears. My whole life, I had been powerless, an outcast because of my scentless wolf. Now, these Alphas were acting like I was something precious, something they refused to let slip away. It made no sense.
I tested my restraints, my wrists burning against the rope. “You can’t just take me,” I hissed, my voice shaking with suppressed rage.
A sharp growl rumbled through the car. “We can. And we did.”
Suddenly, the car lurched to a stop, tires screeching against gravel. My heart leapt into my throat.
Then, before I could react, the door beside me was wrenched open, and a strong hand grabbed my ankle, yanking me out. I hit the ground hard, gasping as the impact jarred my ribs.
Pain shot through my limbs, but I barely had time to recover before I was hauled up by the collar of my shirt.
The taller Alpha loomed over me, his grip unyielding. His dark eyes flashed with warning. “Run again, and I’ll break you.”
The second Alpha stepped up beside him, tilting his head. “Unless, of course, you want to submit now. Say the word, and we’ll make this easier for you.”
“I’d rather die.” My body was trembling, but I forced myself to glare at them.
For a moment, neither of them spoke. Then, the taller one smirked. “Then let’s see how long you last.”
He threw me over his shoulder like I weighed nothing. I kicked, struggled, but it was useless. The last thing I saw before we disappeared into the forest was the empty road, the one I’d fought so hard to reach.
I thrashed against the Alpha’s grip, my fists pounding against his back. “Put me down, you overgrown mutt!” I snarled.
The taller Alpha ignored me, carrying me effortlessly through the dark forest. The other one walked beside him, watching me with amusement.
I gritted my teeth. If they thought I’d submit, they were in for a surprise.
“You think you’re strong, don’t you?” I snapped. “Just because you’re Alphas? News flash, I don’t give a damn. You’re nothing but entitled brutes with daddy’s title handed to you on a silver platter.”
The amusement vanished from the second Alpha’s face. His golden eyes darkened, and a growl rumbled from his chest.
The Alpha carrying me tensed. “Careful,” he warned, his voice low and deadly.
I smirked. “What? Did I hit a nerve? Poor little Alphas, so used to having people bow at their feet. Must be a real shock when someone doesn’t kiss your ass.”
The second Alpha moved in a blur. A sharp crack rang out as his palm collided with my cheek. My head snapped to the side, the sting burning across my skin.
My breath hitched, but I refused to look away. Instead, I laughed. “That’s it? A little slap? Pathetic.”
The first Alpha let out a long sigh. “You just don’t learn, do you?”
Before I could respond, he tightened his grip and threw me. My body crashed onto cold, hard stone. Air whooshed out of my lungs as pain exploded through my side.
I groaned, rolling onto my hands and knees. The scent of damp earth and rusted metals filled my nostrils. A cell.
Chains clanked as the door slammed shut behind me. I forced myself to look up, my vision swimming. The Alphas stood on the other side of the bars, staring down at me like a misbehaving pup.
“You want to act like a wild animal?” the taller one said, his voice edged with menace. “Fine. You’ll stay in a cage until you learn your place.”
The second Alpha leaned against the bars, smirking. “You’re not leaving until you beg us to forgive you",
I spat blood onto the ground and glared at them. “Watch me and see.”
They exchanged a look before turning away, their footsteps echoing as they left me alone in the darkness.
I curled my fingers into fists, my wolf stirring inside me. I didn’t know how long I’d last in this cell, but one thing was certain.
I’d rather rot in here than ever submit to them.
