Just as one of the men around made to get close to Cecilia, Nicki Ramos blocked the fellow from touching her as if she was protecting her making Japheth very surprised.

The manger was very scared she could tell from his expression that doom is coming upon very soon.

Japheth inspected the situation with angry expression, the ladder that the lad used was still there, he saw the celling and the small window which the skylight fell through, it was big enough to let someone of Nicki through.

He could understand what had happed there.

He waved is hand to dismiss the man that wanted to pick her up, then he picked her up gently in his arms and Nicki tagged behind him like a puppy not letting go of Cecilia’s arms.

He carried her out of the bar towards his car in fast strides, anyone with slow motion camera would have thought they were couples and their child.

PEOPLES HOSPITAL, LOS ANGELES.

Cecilia woke up with sore body, when she opened her eyes; it was morning already, the day of the audition.

She made to stand up but she stopped when she saw a man by the window, reading a book, is legs were long and casually crossed.

He wore slim fitting tailored suit that emphasized his broad shoulders and slender waist.

He was bathed in the warm morning sun, is cool and calm profile graced his stoic appearance.

The man suddenly looked up from the book in his hands and noticed her looking at him.

His appearance was cold, his chilling gaze seemed to pierce through her.

The way he looked at her made her feel as if a surgery knife was pierced in her skin, scattering her veins sheet by sheet; it made her bone shudder.

The man didn’t loosen his gaze and Cecilia was not ready to release hers either, seems like staring contest.

She asked hurriedly, “Excuse me can I ask how I end up here? Yes, also did you see a girl? She seems to be five or six probably, she speaks very fast and very rudely, she had curly hair and also very cute!”

The man raised his eyebrows at her description, and looked at a particular direction then replied her question with a question “Are you talking about Nicki?”

Cecilia followed his gaze and saw white, soft and cute little girl lying in a cot beside her.

Cecilia’s eye brightened “Yes, its her, is her name Nicki?

She let out a huge sigh of relief and reached over to feel Nicki’s forehead, it was warm which means her fever was subsiding.

She remembered helping her earlier, she wondered if she hadn’t saved her then in that wine bar storeroom what would have happened to her by now?

Then she faced the man, who was as ice as stature not batting an eye “and you’re Nicki’s …….? she asked

The ice stature still not moving an inch and his face not showing any form of expression or feelings he replied "Father!!"

Cecilia heaved a huge sigh of surprised then someone came in, “Hi Pretty, you’re awake? I’m Nicki’s big uncle!" Abruptly he rushed towards her.

Cecilia retreated backwards as if guiding herself against him, then she saw his face clearly

“Se…Se… Seth Ramos?” He was the second Demi God of Immortal entertainment, Singers and musicians CEO, he was a big time playboy.

No one in California doesn’t know him, he was more popular among the media than celebrities, and artistes, he was once rumored to change girls every hours.

She could never mistake his face, if the man earlier was Nicki’s father, then….. Seth is… “Nicki’s Uncle? And Nicki’s father was…. Was…… Japheth Ramos? The CEO of Immortal?

So the child she saved was the rumored child of Immortal’s CEO?

Japheth Ramos sensed the woman on the bed was feeling somehow insecure about Seth and him, as if he was trying to tell if the expression of surprise on her face was real.

After a while, it seemed as he finally believed that her expression of shock and surprise was real and she didn’t know Nicki’s identity.

Then he spoke up coldly “Your request?” Cecilia was surprised

“Re…Request? She could not understand what he was trying to impose.

Then Seth spoke up “Mike…. I mean Mr. Japheth wants to thank you for saving our Nicki’s life and he’s asking what is your request like sort of compensation” Seth interpreted his stoic brother’s appearance.

Hearing the interpretation of what the icy man was saying, Cecilia quickly rejected the offer, “No, you.. you don’t need to thank me, really, Nicki was too cute to ignore, she sounds a bit rude but she was impressive, and if aren’t for her, then I wont have been saved too, so we’re even now isn’t it? She asked blinking rapidly at the two male gods by her bed side.

Although she was lucky to have saved the cute girl, how could she dare to claim more rewards for it? The more money or compensation she demanded, the more prone she was to paranoid delusions.

Also, it was a good thing that she was not framed to have orchestrated the whole incident, she can’t afford to take anything from them, even though this is the perfect opportunity for her to demand a place in Immortal entertainment, but she must not demand anything for now.

To avoid future problems and sufferings, incase she was later signed to immortal entertainment, It was best to even out the relations between them.

Cecilia, had thought her answer was straight forward and needed no issues or qualms but Japheth Ramos’s expression caused a burst of fright in her heart. ‘did I say something wrong? Why is his expression not batting, or is he always like this?

Seth faced his brother after noticing that Cecilia was weary of his expression, “Mike, don’t put such a scary expression, we know you’re trying to compensate her but at least you should try and smile"

He admonished but the hard figure was not shaking instead he gave his brother a very discerning look.
