CHAPTER 2: RECOVERING

Jonathan's P.O.V.

After Mariann left with the girl, I got right on the phone to Doctor Lee, then I called Andre' to have him meet me at the house after the bar closes. I was also told of truma that the girl has gone through and that her name is Analina Wheaton. She has the first name of sister. I remember the day my parents told me of my sister being kidnap right after being born.

Flashback

I just got home from high school, it was my senior year, I was passing by my father's office to get to the library. The door to his ofice opened and my father's head popped out. "Son, I knw you are heading to the livbrary to do your homework, but can you step into my office for a bit. There's something I need to discuss with you." "Sure, Dad."

When I entered the office, my mother was also there, I looked from my mother to my father and as I did, he motioned for me to take a seat. I sat down in one of the chairs in front of his desk and waited patiently for him to start. "When you were eight years old your mother gave birth to a baby girl- "What?" I interrupted. "Baby, please don't interrupt your father." "Ok." I spoke. He continues as I noticed the tears in my mother's eyes. " As I was saying, your mother gave birth to a baby girl, we got to hold her for a short time before the nurse took to the nursery. Your mother kept going to the nursery that night to see your sister, but the nurse wouldn't let your mother see her. The next morning your sister was gone."

"So, your telling me that I have a baby sister out there, who has been kidnapped. What was her name?" "Yes, that's what we are telling you." My mother confirmed while tears were running down her face. "Her name is Analina and we've trying to find her, we even hired three private investigators to help in the search."

Present time

I was snapped from my daydream hearing a knock at my door. "Come in." "Ah, Doctoer Lee." "Hi, Jonathan. Where's the paitent?" "She'll be here soon, Mariann took her to get cleaned up." "Since i have you here alone. Can you do a DNA test on her? I think she maybe my long lost sister that was kidnapped." "Sure, I'll just get some blood samples from her, and I still have some on your parents." I gave the Doctor a run down about what happed to her."Oh, here she is Now." I said as Analina and Mariann walked into the room. "Doctor, this is Analina Wheaton. Analina this is Doctor Lee; I called him to examine you."

"Hi Analina, can you lay down for me so I can examine you." Mariann took her to the couch to lay down. "Mariann, can you sit down next to her and hold her hand, please." Mariann sat beside her and held her left hand which was the closest to her. "Can you lift up her shirt for me? Just below the breast area. I want to check her ribs." Mariann carefully lifted up heer shirt and brought just below the breast area, just like the Doctor asked. She gave Analina a comforted smile. Doctor started to gentlely press on both sides of her ribs, checked her face, arms and legs. "You had a couple of broken rids, but they started to mend, brusing under the eyes, jaw and some bruises and cuts on your arms and legs. I'm going to wrap up youmr ribs and put some ointment on your cuts." Ater wrapping Analina's ribs, Mariann carefully pulled her shirt back down as the Doctor continued with his treatment.

"Now I want take some blood for further testing and a urine sample, I wat to check for pregangancy." He took about three tubes of blood from her and then handed her a cup to pee in. "Mariann, can you go with her, honey." Mariann nodded her head at me and went with Analina to the bathroom. "Now Jon, here's a bottle of painkillers for her, I want her to take two now and again every four hours, also I'm going to give you a bottle o sedatives, trauma such as what she has been through will experience nightmares, just give her one also if she feels overwhelmed you may want to give her one, but make sure it's at least six to eight hours apart." "Ok, thank you Doctor Lee." "No problem."

Rocco's P.O.V.

Just as it was reaching closing time Maverick, and I got instructions from Jonathan through are earpieces. "Rocco, Maverick, I want the both of you to get the customers out and then Maverick, I need you to grab the car and bring it around back, Rocco after you close up, I need you in my office." "Ok." We both answered. After we did what we were instructed to do I made my way to the office. "Hey Jon, what do you need?" "I need you to carry Analina to the car." "Ok." I said as I went to pick her up, she backed away saying. "I.....I can walk on my own." "I'm sure you can, but it will quicker if I just carry you plus you will unseen." She finally nods her ok in understanding and let me pick her up, I followed Jonathan and Mariann out the back door. Maverick already had the car there and waiting with the doors opened, Mariann and I climbed into are expected seats closing are doors as Jonathan locks up and runs to the other side of the car getting in and shutting his door.

"Ok, buckle up everyone." He then pulled out into the street. I suggested to Analina to stretch out on me and Maverick and turn her head towards my stomache so that the passing cars can't see her face. She listens and puts her arms around my waist tightly which surpriseed me at first but didn't object, whatever makes her feel comfortable is all I care about. I don't want her scared of me I just want to protect her not cause her any harm.

Jonathan's P.O.V.

"Ok everybody, I want Mariann out first to unlock the door, then I want Rocco with Analina right behind her, Maverick, I want you behind Rocco and I will be behind you." "Is that safe?" Maverick asked me. "Don't worry I'm on alert, just everyone have her guard up." "OK!" they saind back. " alright GO!!!" I said and we all took are spots. Once inside we were met by my buntler Boris, he must have noticed the tension and hurried footsteps becuase he rushed closing and locking the door behind us. "Sir, Andre' Chavez is in your office." "Ok, Thank you Boris. Can you have Maggie bring uns a pot of coffee and six cups, please." "Sure, Sir."

Rocco bring Analina to the suit acros from mine and Mariann's, then come to the office. For some odd reason he took an protective stance and said. "What about Analina? Who's going to be with her while we are all in your office?" "She'll be fine, we won't belong plus she's across the hall from me." He didn't seem to like my answer, I think he was hoping to stay with her but that isn't needed right now. I'll have elevate on things tomorrow when I'll know more.
