Chapter 27

Autumn's POV

I felt weak the moment I opened my eyes. My body felt heavy as I tried to move. My eyes fully opened and I found myself back in my room. I started to recall the fact that I was supposed to have gone, but now I'm back here. How did I get back here?

I tried to get up, but I found out that I was chained to the bed. At first, I thought I was going crazy, probably because of the fact that I felt dizzy. I saw it was already late outside.

Then I remembered that they must have used something on me to make me feel unconscious, just to stop me from leaving.

Those bastards are the worst people on earth. How could they do this to me? They already promised a lot of people that they would let me go and now they are going back on their words.

Even after acting crazy and threatening to kill someone, they still dared to bring me back here. Not just that, they chained me to the bed. Am I really unable to escape from them? What do they want from me exactly?

"You bastards! Why are you keeping me locked up here? Let me go right now, you horrible people!" I shouted at the top of my lungs.

I was hoping they would come and check on me, but they really didn't check on me. Maybe I was finally starting to realize that they only wanted to control me and nothing more.

All that act of being nice was nothing but a facade. How do I get out of this situation? Now I'm beginning to get scared for my life.

I tried so hard to stay away from them. I was given a second chance at life and I was trying to use it so well. Why would they try to take it away from me?

"Adonis! Dante! Knox! You evil bastards! Let me go right now!" I continue to shout like a mad person because I badly wanted to get away from here.

If they were bold enough to hide me like this, it meant they were not planning to let me go anytime soon. I don't even know what I've ever done to deserve this. Do they have any memories of their past life or what? Do they want to continue from where they stopped? At this point, I don't even understand what is going on at all.

It took me a while of constant shouting for me to finally see the door opening and the three of them walked in like nothing happened. They had this smug look on their face like they were proud of what they did. These evil bastards. I wish I could tear the smile off their faces and make them kill each other.

"You idiots! I clearly want nothing to do with you. You already promised the people that you would let me go. Why would you bring me back here? You are all liars and you don't deserve to be the alphas of your pack!" I snapped angrily at them.

My blood boiled just looking at them, and they didn't even look remorseful at all. What exactly is going on in their heads, and what are they planning to do with me?

"Barbie, can you just calm down?" Dante said, smiling at me.

I looked at him with disgust evidence on my face.

"Are you fucking blind? Do I look like I'm in any situation to calm down? You guys chained me up here. What is the damn reason you can't let me go? Do you really want to finish what you started in the past life? Dying once is not enough for you?" I yelled at him.

The shocked look and their faces was very evident. I was also shocked by what I said because I wasn't exactly planning to let anyone know that I was living the second life.

Besides, they are already trying so hard to keep me here. If I should tell them that I'm someone born again, they'll probably think I'm crazy. And then they'll do everything they come to stop me from leaving.

"Past life? What are you talking about Barbie?" Knox suddenly asked, after a moment of long silence.

The silence was strangely long and now they are asking what I am talking about. Do they really not believe in me or do they think I am just losing my mind?

They all started laughing like mad people and it was annoying to listen to. Even if they don't believe in what I'm saying, do they still have to treat me like a crazy person, coupled with the fact that they are keeping me locked up here against my will?

"What? What past life did I talk about? I just asked what you want from me. You've done a lot of evil to me in the past. And I've been trying to get away from you people. Clearly you've wanted me out of your lives a long time ago. So what is the reason for all of this now?" I asked, quickly changing the subject.

Adonis, who hasn't said anything since he came moved closer to me.

"Autumn, you need to calm down so that we can discuss this." He stated, I know he usually calls me by my real name when he takes me serious. But I'm not going to let that fool me.

"We're not keeping you here to make you suffer. We couldn't just let you go because it's dangerous out there. You've never been out like that. Where would you be thinking of going to?" He questioned me.

I scoffed, "Where I go is none of your fucking business! I'm clearly trying to sever ties with you. Are you really that slow or dumb? Can't you all understand that I hate you to death?"

The looks on their faces changed when I said the word hate, but I didn't care. If it's enough to make them angry, they should just get angry. I haven't even thought of getting revenge on them.

All I've wanted since I came back was to get away from them, and they've been pushing me to the edge ever since. If they wouldn't let me go away, then I wouldn't mind starting their downfall, for which was everything I tried to pretend in my past life.

I will make sure they regret ever trying to bring me back.

"Barbie—"

"Stop calling me that!" I snarled at them without giving them a chance to say anything at all.

I was just too angry to listen to anything they had to say. Are they going to explain to me that I have to stay with them until they eventually find out that I'm their mate?

They might have lied to the people about me being their mate, but I'm sure I'm the only one who knows now that they will be my mate in the future. Before they discover that fact, I have to get away from them as soon as I can. Do they have a fetish for torturing people, or what is the reason exactly for all of this? I keep asking myself questions that I'm getting no answer to.

"We can't let you go no matter what. We will find a way to explain it to your friends and the people about what happened." Adonis continued.

I fumed, "Are you going to keep me locked up here against my will forever?"

They shook their heads. Dante moved closer and Strangely enough, he removed all the chains from my hands and legs while his brothers watched him. They're not going to stop him from doing this? I'm a little bit surprised and confused. What is the meaning of all of this?

"We are not going to keep you locked up here, but we do have an offer for you that might keep you here." Dante said.

What offer are they talking about? I looked at them trying to read their expressions but there was nothing I could get from that. They are not to be trusted and they are very evil. They've done a lot of evil to me and they are the reason I died in my past life. What kind of offer are they going to give me to make a deal with them?

"An offer? You think I have time to make deals with you people? I'm not interested, and I don't even want to hear what it's about." I replied, moving towards the door.

"You're going to become a millionaire."

This is what I heard that made me stop on my tracks. Did I just hear that I'm going to become a millionaire?

What kind of deal exactly is this that has so much benefits? I don't want to ask them, but at the same time I'm interested in the money. After all, if I'm going to live my life again, I need to be rich. I don't want to suffer like I did in my past life. But then, can I trust them?
