Kadie

I woke up the next morning and found the sheets beside me empty, he was gone. My brows furrowed in disappointment and a frown spread across my face immediately, women were the ones who left in the mornings and not the men. I sighed and pulled down the duvet to see how my down there looked like after having such a memorable moment with the stranger. It was sore but in a pleasant way.

I sighed in satisfaction again and pushed the fluffy duvet away from my body but then my thighs and legs screamed ‘not so fast!’ I winced inaudibly and laid back for a few minutes.

The events from last night came rushing back to my head, the way he slapped my ass hard while he dug his cock deep into me, the way he pulled my hair and made my boobs clap vibrantly against each other. Those memories were the ones that could last me a lifetime.

Dez and I always made out but that was the first time I felt warm from a man's touch. What a shame he didn’t stay so I could get more, more of him and who he was. I really hoped I was going to see him again at some point.

The night felt so good I almost forgot the reason why I came over. I hurried over to my phone and as if I knew, Dez had already given me a million and one calls and text messages.

“How do I explain to Dez, I got too carried away in good sex and forgot to get my pay?” I almost groaned in frustration when a small white paper that was placed under my lingerie caught my eye. I grabbed the paper immediately and looked at the writings.

“A blank cheque! Oh my God! It’s a blank cheque!” My eyes and entire demeanor lit with happiness, the stranger sure looked wealthy but it didn’t cross my mind he’d be that generous. All I needed to do was to put in any amount I wanted and cash out.

I was happy I had the money to take home to Dez at least!’ I danced my way to the bathroom to freshen and leave the room.

The sun was already shining as bright as ever and the people were already moving about their day. I stepped out of the hotel feeling fulfilled and happy, at least Dez wasn’t going to bug me this time around and I would still have some change to save up for the ‘greater purpose’ as Tess, my best friend and I would call it.

The thought of handing over that whole cheque to him suddenly popped in my thoughts. Dez was a selfish blackmailing asshole and he was going to make that man go bankrupt if he knew he had that much to offer for just a night.

He had left me tons of messages and voicemails already and I could feel his frustration and impatience. I snorted as I read through them. Dez was such an asshole, making me sleep with men and then taking all the money and leaving me with just crumbs.

“What do I do?” I mumbled slowly as I walked down the street. “I should call Tess.” I took out my phone and dialed her number quickly.

“Thank Heavens, you’re alive. I tried to reach you all night.” Tess shouted through the phone the moment she slid the answer button.

“He was not a murderer, Tess.” I said with a chuckle as I quickly went over the events of last night in my head.

“I am sure he wasn’t, and you sound like he had a bad dick! Oh No, did he?” Tess was that vulgar and chatty. She didn’t wait for me to say another word before returning to bombarding me with questions. “Come on and tell me everything about last night. Who was he, was he handsome? Did he make you scream his name? Obviously he didn’t because you don’t sound like someone who had a good D…Did he…” I had to cut her short or she was going to go on with those questions, typical Tess!

“Calm down Girl! The man smelled of wealth and the dick was damn good but I am going to tell you everything later, for now, I need your help.” I said and she giggled like a kid who had been handed a pack of candies.

“Spoiler alert! Fine, what’s up?” She immediately gave up that part of the conversation for the time and asked. Tess was the kind of friend I could run to anytime any day and she would be more than willing to help me. We met when I began my job at the club and we have become soul sisters since then.

“He gave me a blank cheque.” I announced and waited for her to respond, it didn’t take a second before she shouted.

“Wait, what? A whole freaking blank cheque? Oh Kadie, you sure made that man cum his life out.” She cackled and teased while my cheeks turned pink. I wish she knew I was the one who came my life out instead and my ass and whole body was still sore from last night.

“Focus Tess… well, you know I can’t possibly take this cheque to Dez, he is going to dry up that man’s account balance.”

“Well, what’s the harm in that? Who gives a blank cheque to people these days? I am sure he has a lot of money for him to throw in the air.” Tess said but I know she didn’t mean those words.

“Tess, come on! You know how Dez is…I need you to come to the bank with me. I am going to cash an average amount, give him some of it and keep the rest with you, you know I need all the money I can get now right?” The money was going to be a big push for me when I finally run away from Dez like I had been planning for years, “The Greater Purpose”

“Uh! You are such a kind person!” She groaned lazily. “I’ll meet you up soon.” Tess agreed and ended the call.

The lady at the counter glared at us as though she had seen a ghost. Her stares moved from scared ones to demeaning ones the moment she took a closer look at the cheque we handed over to her. It was obvious that he had something to say but rather remained quiet.

It made me very uncomfortable but Tess was ready to blow up her nose right there and then if she decided to accompany her already mean gazes with mean words.

After making whatever the confirmations there were she was doing and giving me a form to sign, she handed over the amount of cash I wrote down to me.

I looked at Tess and we smiled at each other, the cheque was real after all.

“That stranger must be a wealthy and influential man for that lady to bombard us with such glares.” Tess said as we stepped out of the bank and walked to her car.

“He sure looked rich.” I told her.

“Did you at least get his name?” Tess grabbed my arm abruptly and asked.

“No, I didn’t, he didn’t ask for mine either.” i told her. You know the rules Tess, of what use is knowing his name going to be for me? I said in my head.

She looked at me and sighed in a bit of frustration, “You should have…” She said,

“I shouldn’t have Tess! Especially not with this client.” I took the conversation from her immediately. “We both had an amazing evening and that’s that. I should head home, Dez has been blowing up my phone.”

“That asshole, I hope he falls down from that building and breaks his neck.” I burst out in laughter and slowly wished her wishes came to pass. Tess had never been a fan of Dez and Dez shared the same feelings towards her, not like I gave a hoot about him anyway.

“I hope so too but while he is still alive, I have to go.”

“I’ll drop you off. Will you be at the club later?” She asked as I walked over to the other side of the car.

“Definitely, after the long day I know I am going to have with Dez, the club is the only thing that can keep me sane.” I replied while we both entered the car.

“Kadie, I have told you several times to come and live with me and forget about that jerk. I know you’re just trying to pay back everything he had put in during your mom’s time at the hospital but for how long? He has completely turned you into his puppet.” Tess said.

“That is why I am running away. Staying at yours won’t do me any good, he will still come for me and for you too. You know Dez is dangerous. Trust me, I will make enough to take me as far as I can go from this place.” I said and she pulled me in for a hug. Tess was my safe space, literally the only person I had.

Just as I expected, Dez didn’t take it easy on me. He pounced on me the moment I walked through the door.

“What the hell is wrong with you? Didn’t you see my calls and messages?” He yelled at me as usual.

“I am here now and I brought your money!” I snapped back at him. The house reeked of smoke from weed and on the floor were panties, brassieres and other feminine clothing. As usual, he brought his women into my apartment.

There were also remnants of cocaine, smoked cigarettes, empty bottles of alcohol and a staggering Dez. It was the same routine over and over.

“Did you bring someone to my house again?” I asked angrily.

“You were out there fucking some man so what did you want me to do? I found some blonde bitch who kept me company all night. And hey!” He moved closer and grabbed my chin forcefully

“Don’t you ever fucking raise your voice at me.” He warned and threw my chin away causing me to stagger a bit.

I looked at him and said nothing because I knew what would follow would be a loud slap across my face, the kind that usually left me sore and swollen.

I dipped my hand in the bag and brought out the stack of cash and handed it over to him. He threw the cigarette in his hand away and quickly collected the cash from me.

“This smells like good money! The man was loaded, wasn’t he? I got you a nice fellow! You have to thank me” He rubbed the money over his nose and back and practically licked it. Dez worshipped money, it was the only thing that kept closer to his drugs.

“Tell that bitch to leave my house.” I said while walking away from him. I had given him what he wanted and I was free from him for a few days. He’d come back after squandering everything.

“You are the best! But you need to give me more details about this guy, he seems loaded.” He ran over in his saggy pants that almost fell off his waist and grabbed my arm.

“I am sorry I didn’t remember to ask his name as the money was all I was there for. The last time I checked, you arranged my meetings, now can you let go of my arm, grab your wasted bitch and get the hell out?” I said and looked at him with all the disdain left in me.

“I told you to watch the way you speak to me.” He was angry, I could tell. “Why are you being nasty huh? He fucked you well didn’t he?” He pulled me closer and made his way down my body.

“Dez, please!” I tried to beg but as usual, it fell on deaf ears. He had never listened to any of my pleadings before. He tore my skirt and pushed me to the chair.

“Dez, please, I beg you!” His fingers were already tracing my panties. “You wanna play nasty bitch yeah? I’ll show you nasty!” His fore finger roughly pushed into my still sore vagina as I winced in pain and discomfort.

“Who is that motherfucker? Look at you! I asked you to go bring me money and went fucking him until you got this sore? His statement made me realize I was still sore down there.

“You enjoyed him didn’t you? Well guess what Honey! I am going to make you feel that same soreness now.” I knew my fate the moment I walked in, another night of pain. That had been my life in the past eight years, Dez’s puppet, I didn’t even have a life of my own anymore.

“Dez, please!” My begging only got him angrier and aroused. I tried to get up but he pushed me back to the chair and tore every piece of clothing I had left on me. I just laid there without a fight as tears fell from my eyes as usual. He pushed himself into me and gnashed his teeth and shut his eyes in pleasure while I laid there, helpless and yet again, broken.

He shot his whole cum into me and rolled off my body in satisfaction after he was done.

“Go clean the fuck up and take your pills.” He said. I got up from the Sofa and staggered to the staircase.

“You will tell me all about this stranger that made you this sore from last night when I am ready.” He added while I managed to make my way up the staircase.

Moments like this reminded me of how far I needed to get away from him. I had my bath and slumbered away into sleep for the rest of the day. I had to be at the club later in the day and I needed every ounce of strength I had left in me.

The club hadn’t opened for the night so the seats were still very empty.

“Club Ace” was no doubt the best of its kind around the neighborhood and it was frequented by many people who were in for long, steamy and pleasurable nights, the rich ones especially. Sanda, the manager and my very good friend made sure their eyes were fed exactly what they wanted.

“Hey Big Man Joey!” I greeted one of the bouncers who was an old time buddy as I made my way to the entrance. Joey and I had worked at Ace for a few years.

“You don’t look okay” Joey had an eye for these things, he always knew when something was up.

“I am good, Joey. I am at the club now, I’ll dance all that away.”

“You should leave that motherfucker soon or I’ll be forced to do something about him.” Joey groaned as he spoke. He had always maintained that he would hurt Dez but I didn’t agree.

“Joey, we already agreed that we are not doing something about him. Trust me, he is not worth your time and soon, I will leave him” I said and patted his shoulder in order to assure him I was fine.

“Well then, the night is all yours my lady!” He said with a smile. Besides being a good friend, Joey was one of my biggest cheerleaders.

“What’s a girl gon’ do? We got to get the bag!” I would’ve loved to stay back and have a little conversation with him but Sanda’s impatient gaze was already fixated on me. “I’mma catch ya later, he’s got eyes on me already.” I said and made my way to the anxious Sanda.

“You’re late.” He said.

“I am sorry. I didn’t get enough rest and Dez happened.” I answered. “But I am here now.”

“Well, get that ass in there and get ready to light up the place. I’ll join you in five.” He said in his usual dramatic tone. Don’t mind his tone, Sanda was one of the sweetest person ever.

“Sure thing.” He looked at me briefly and we both walked away.
