Chapter 7

Nova rummaged through her bag and pulled out some fruit, offering some to Isabella. They ate quietly, savoring the sweetness of the fruit.

As they ate, Nova's gaze fell upon the family scepter that hung at her side. She took a deep breath, feeling a mix of emotions. The scepter was a symbol of her royal heritage and the weight of her responsibilities.

Nova's thoughts turned inward, reflecting on the journey ahead and the challenges she would face. She steeled herself for what was to come, her determination growing with each passing moment.

It was still midnight and the werewolves warriors were no more in sight. Nova's eyelids grew heavy, and she soon fell into a deep sleep. Isabella looked at her with a suspiciously tender gaze, her eyes filled with a deep affection that seemed almost protective.

A lot ran through her mind as she gazed at Nova's peaceful face.

For a while, she sat in silence, lost in thought, her eyes never leaving Nova's face. The darkness of the night seemed to fade into the background as she sat there, her mind consumed by the sleeping princess. Eventually, she too drifted off to sleep, her dreams likely filled with visions of the trials to come.

After another day of arduous journey, Nova and Isabella finally arrived at the border of the Werewolf Kingdom. As they crossed into the kingdom’s territory, they were immediately enveloped by an air of tension. The trees seemed to loom over them, casting long shadows that stretched and twisted in the fading light.

They were both watched by many vigilant werewolves, their eyes gleaming with a mixture of curiosity, mockery, and hostility. Nova and Isabella were equally cautious, their senses heightened as they navigated the charged atmosphere.

Isabella’s gaze swept over the werewolves, her expression shows she was careful and ready for self defense. She could also read the look on Princess Nova’s face. An opportunity to teach her a few more things.

“The tensions between our races have escalated,” she said, her voice barely above a whisper.

“Is there a conflict?” Nova inquired with a whisper too.

“It’s not just about resource conflicts anymore. As the Otherworld approaches its ten-thousand-year reset, the Dark God has seized the opportunity to send hidden minions to deliberately create disputes among the five major races.”

Nova’s eyes widened as she listened, her understanding of the situation deepening. “The Dark God wants to fill us with hostility,” Isabella continued, “to further its own interests and ambitions of world domination.”

Nova’s grip on her family scepter tightened. She had heard of the Dark God’s malevolent nature, but to see the impact of its actions firsthand was a sobering experience. The weight of their mission settled heavier on her shoulders, and she steeled herself for the challenges ahead.

Nova and Isabella knew they had to tread carefully, navigating the complex web of alliances and rivalries between the different factions. The fate of the Otherworld hung in the balance, and they were determined to do everything in their power to prevent the Dark God’s plans from coming to pass.

As Nova and Isabella journeyed deeper into the Werewolf Kingdom, they finally caught sight of the Blue Moon Wolf Pack's territory, located ten kilometers outside the capital of the kingdom. Nova's eyes widened in awe as she took in the breathtaking scenery before her. The pack's estate sprawled across the landscape like a small kingdom, with beautifully manicured lawns, elegant buildings, and rolling hills that stretched as far as the eye could see.

The Blue Moon Wolf Pack was a large and wealthy pack, known for its prosperous farmlands, advanced training facilities, and stunning architecture. As they rode their horses towards the estate, they passed through vast farmlands where crops swayed gently in the breeze. Nova marveled at the sight of werewolves working in the fields, their movements efficient and precise.

She saw professional training grounds where warriors honed their skills, their movements a blur of speed and agility. The training grounds were equipped with state-of-the-art facilities, showcasing the pack's commitment to martial prowess and strategic warfare.

As they approached the central estate, Nova's mouth dropped in wonder. The building was a masterpiece of architecture, with intricate carvings and ornate details that seemed to shimmer in the sunlight. The estate's grandeur was a testament to the Blue Moon Wolf Pack's wealth and influence within the Werewolf Kingdom.

Isabella smiled, her eyes sparkling with amusement. "I told you, Nova, the Werewolf Kingdom is full of wonders. Every pack has its own unique culture and traditions."

Nova's gaze lingered on the estate, taking in every detail. She saw werewolves of all ages moving about, their faces a picture of contentment and happiness. The atmosphere was peaceful, yet Nova could sense the underlying strength and power that lay beneath the surface.

The Blue Moon Wolf Pack was indeed a marvel, a testament to the werewolves' ability to build and thrive in their own society. Nova felt a sense of wonder and respect for this beautiful and powerful pack, and she couldn't wait to meet James William, the pack's renowned warrior and one of the candidates for the reincarnated Child of Light.

Nova and Isabella walked into the training ground, their presence drawing the attention of the werewolves around them. Despite being watched, they weren't hindered as they made their way straight to the training ground.

There, they saw a young warrior covered in blood, pinned under the foot of a tall, strong, and fierce-looking Alpha. The Alpha's sword was pointed at the young warrior's throat, his eyes blazing with anger.

"You've been colluding with humans to harm the interests of the Werewolf Kingdom," the Alpha accused, his voice thundering across the training ground.

The young warrior loudly denied the accusations, but the Alpha was unyielding. "I won't tolerate traitors in my pack," he growled.

With a dramatic flourish, the Alpha announced, "I, Adolph Lewis, hereby expel James William from the Blue Moon Wolf Pack."

Hearing the name, Nova and Isabella exchanged shocked glances. "He is James William!" they exclaimed in unison, their eyes fixed on the young warrior str

uggling beneath the Alpha's foot.
