Chapter 2

Aurora’s pov

(One month later)

He was Alpha Killian.

The man that had taken my virginity on the night I was mated to Alpha Samuel.

I was only grateful that we were both intoxicated last night, else I was sure he’d have come for me by now. I wasn’t sure what for, but that man was nothing but a blood thirsty, ruthless monster, and I wanted nothing to do with him.

That was what I thought until a month later, Samuel barged into my room, looking like he wanted to kill me. It was the first time he had stepped into my room since we got mated.

After that day, he had been treating me like an outcast, giving Laura and her fellow Omegas the liberty of treating me like an even lowly slave. I couldn’t even complain to my father because I was the one who had opted to marry Samuel. I thought he loved me just as I loved him.

I never knew he was using me.

Fast forward to a month later, I got terribly sick. Early morning sickness hit me badly almost everyday.

Samuel decided to handle the matter four weeks after when I had fainted at the training fields.

And here he was now, after ordering a tube of my samples be taken for testing. He probably didn’t want his ticket to the throne to die. He didn’t care If Laura had me starved for days or beaten till I couldn’t use my eyes and Limbs. All he cared was that I remained alive.

Right now, He was looking at me with so much hate and anger that I wanted the ground of my room to swallow me and my bed. I was still too weak to move as even in my condition, Laura had ordered I shouldn’t be served anything to eat.

I could see Maureen, the pack doctor, closely behind him, and with her head bowed, I could see how pale and scared she looked.

Samuel’s aura in the room was choking and imminently dangerous. I knew if he wanted to kill me now, He would and I couldn’t put up a fight. He couldn’t care less.

“What you said back at my office, say it again.” He coolly referred to the doctor who shook under his voice.

“What’s going on?” Fright in my tone, I sat up to stare at them both, feeling uneasy.

“Speak!” Samuel’s voice thundered in the room and the pack doctor fell onto her knees, tears rolling down her cheeks from fear.

“The Luna is pregnant.”

My world seemed to come crashing down at her words, and no matter how much I tried to hide the guilt that flashed in my eyes, Samuel was quick to catch on.

“Tell me she’s lying!” He was suddenly at my side in half a second, and I gasped in shock as he kicked me out of the bed just before I dropped onto the floor.

I choked on my own bood as I began crawling away from him, but what was even the use. He kicked me again, harder this time.

I cried out in pain, covering up the doctor’s cries with mine as I dropped to my sides. Sandra howled, forcing me to shift. She was already in defense mode for the safety of her cub but I was too weak.

“I don’t care how you’ll do it, but you’ll have that child aborted, is that understood.” Towering over me, he spat before turned to Maureen. “Prepare your team and have them remove that bastard in her womb.”

Shock and pain enshrouded my mind as I snapped. “No!”

His eyes seemed to instantly belong to the devil’s as he turned to me. “What?”

It took all my willpower as I Breathed between clenched teeth, saying, “I won’t abort the child. It’s a sin to the moon goddess to kill…”

He suddenly kicked me, straight to the stomach, and I gasped, shock causing my eyes to grow wide as I spat blood onto the floor before rolling to hit a wall behind me.

The commotion drew in Omegas and several guards.

“Alpha Samuel, please have mercy!” The doctor lamented fearfully.

For a moment, I saw my life flash before my eyes. My vision was hazy and I felt nauseous as more blood slipped down my lips. Was I dead?

He suddenly leaned in, and I groaned in pain as he grabbed my hair by my scalp and pulled me in close to spit on my face. “From today, you are dead to me and this pack. I want you to get your things and get out of here. I don’t care how you survive, but you can’t stay here.”

In a few minutes, right before everyone in the pack house and in nothing but the clothes I had on, I was dragged away from the mansion. Shame eluded my whole body and I burst into tears, but no amount of begging I did seemed to pacify Samuel.

He was much too wrapped up in Laura’s arms as she calmed him down like he had not just beaten me close to death. He had tried to kill my child. At least If he had any atom of love for me, he would have considered sparing me at least. I was sure he had just been looking for the right time to throw me out.

On my weak legs, I carried them to the one place I had in mind. I didn’t have friends, and my dad’s pack was quite far, but I know I wouldn’t dare try to go to him for help. Aside from the fact that he never agreed to our union, finding out I was pregnant for another man would bring unto me another greater shame and punishment.

My stomach churned from fear and a few times my legs bukled from my weak sagging body, but I was persistent. I wasn’t going to kill the child, so Killian would have to take responsibility for his actions.

‘Why didn’t you let me take over back then.’ Sandra whimpered.

“You were already weaker than I was. That kick would have killed you.”

Years ago, If someone had told me I would ever have a reason to come face to face with the devil Alpha, I would have laughed in their face. The blood thirsty monster who sees women as only tools of pleasure? What do I.. A respectable Alpha’s daughter would have to do with him?

Well, I had his baby and in a matter of minutes, I would be standing in his presence to tell him I was pregnant with his child.

I gritted my teeth, seeing the mighty guards at the gates towering over a foot over my height. They looked intimidating enough to send anyone running, but I knew I had a purpose. I had spent hours of agonizing pain just to arrive at his pack. I couldn’t turn back now. What If they even kill me before I had the chance, worse still, what If I died by Killian’s hands.

My heart brimmed in my chest as I approached them. By their expressions, they seemed to almost recognize me instantly. “You’re not supposed to be here.” One said gruffly, Chest so large, he could knock me out with one thrust forward.

“I want to see your Alpha.” I instigated fiercely, not letting them intimidate me. Despite how weak my wolf was now, I was an Alpha’s daughter, If I was serious about seeing Killian, I couldn’t come to them with shaky knees. Because even them knew the type of person I was coming to see.

“If he had any visitors today, we would have known. If you’ll… “

“I’m pregnant with his fucking child! Go tell him that and let’s see If he’ll care If I’m a fucking visitor.” I snapped annoyingly. I was in so much unbearable pain. I couldn’t even bear with this.

They looked shocked, their demeanour slipping for a second, but I could see the disbelief in their eyes. One suddenly seemed to stare into the distance before suddenly, a man stepped out of the mansion. It was then I knew they had called him with a mind link.

Seeing him approaching me now, In nothing but a towel, eyes of red brimming like larva and his hair tussled behind his head, my throat ran dry and I took steps back involuntarily. His Wolf all the way from where he was, was so powerful, I was being subdued by his aura.

He looked angry.

Fuck.

The guards quickly opened the gates, and when he got closer, the smell of sex hit my nostrils alongside his familiar, sandal wood scent. My stomach bristled with pain and my eyes hurt from tears. He was with another woman.

That night probably meant nothing to him.

“You have ten seconds or so help me, I will kill you with my bare hands.” He growled annoyingly. His eyes were so cold as they stared hatefully into mine. I wondered why I felt so hurt. We had only shared one night after all. It wasn’t supposed to mean anything. But why did the thought of him with another woman send a chilling piercing pain to my heart?

“I… i… “ I blinked the tears away, digging my nails into my palm as I berated myself internally.

‘What the fuck are you so scared about. Just tell him.’

“I’m pregnant.”

His eyes twitched before he sneered. “No kidding. I’m sure my guards just told me to leave midway an orgasm because a stray wolf is preg..”

“For you.” I bit my lip hard, fisting my hands as I cut in. “You got me pregnant.. y- you …”

“Who even are you?” He smirked in amusment. “I’ve fucked many women. It’s not the first time I had to deal with cases like this. So name your price. My Beta will write you a check to abort it and you’ll have enough cash to spare for..”

“Excuse me.” I snapped

His eyes shine crimson red as they glared into mine, and I stepped back again, knowing I’ve crossed my limits.

“I don’t think I even remember sleeping with someone as ugly as you. Just look at you,” he smirked for a brief moment before that monstrous look returned to his eyes. “That bastard you claim to bear can’t possibly be my child.”

Without caring for my dignity, I dropped to my knees, tears cascading down my face. “Please Alpha

Killian. At least for the sake of the child.. I have no where to go. I….”

He turned to the guards and growled. “If you see her around this pack, don’t hesitate to kill her.”

And without glancing at me even once, he disappeared back inside.

I stayed there, on my knees, tear filled face of despair watching as he stormed in to return to the woman he had been entertaining.
