Why did I do that?

I really enjoyed my weekend.

Brandon stayed with me until Saturday night. We spent Saturday fucking all over my house, until he had to go home since he had to work on Sunday.

I really need to ask him what he does. I feel like we haven't had any kind of deep meaningful conversations.

But that could be because we've ended up in bed both times we got together.

The next date I plan on telling him no sex. Just getting to know each other. I know, I know. We're doing things all backwards, but we're consenting adults

But I also want to get to know him more, especially if I'm gonna date him.

Monday rolls around all too quickly. I groan as I open eyes. I lay spread on the bed for a second before getting up to get ready. Once ready, I go downstairs and make me something to eat. After eating, I head straight out the door to the train station. I make it to work by 8:50. I swipe in and head upstairs.

On my floor I greet the receptionist(I think her name is Shelley, but I'm not sure yet.) and head to my office. I put my things away, and walk to the cafeteria. When I get there, I start the coffee and go plate up some food for Mr. Logan.

I know he'll refuse it, but I still serve it in the hopes that one day, he'll actually eat. I grab the food and coffee, and go knock on Mr. Logan's door.

"Enter."

I open the door and walk over to set the tray on the coffee table. I feel Mr. Logan's eyes following me as I move. I turn to him and say "Good morning sir. Here's your breakfast, I tried to keep it simple in the hopes that you'll actually break your fast."

He smiles widely at me "Still keeping to your mission to feed me, I see."

"It's a part of my job sir."

He looks at me thoughtfully, "So how was your date on Friday?"

I look at him, shocked. "You remembered that?"

"I remember every thing about you." he says lowly.

I tremble slightly at the drop in his tone. It's pure sex.

I then cheerily say "Looks like we'll be busy outside of the office today. We have a few project sites to visit, as well as a supplier."

"We won't be back to the office until about 6."

He nods slowly, "I think after the last thing on the schedule, you can leave directly from location. No need to come all the way back here before you make your way home."

I smile brightly "Thanks sir! That would be terrific, since our last stop is right by the train station."

He asks "Do you drive?"

I say "Are you asking if I know how to drive, or if I own a vehicle?"

"Both, I guess."

"I do know how to drive, and I also own a vehicle."

"Then why don't you drive to work?"

"Traffic and parking." I say.

"We have a parking garage under the building for employees."

"Well that takes care of one thing, but not the other, and the other thing is a much bigger issue that can't be fixed." I reply.

He laughs loudly "Sorry I can't clear up traffic for you. I would if I could."

Does he hear himself? I don't think he pays attention to what's he's saying. Or maybe I'm just reading too much into the words he's saying, and not actually paying attention to what he means.

I clear my throat as he stares at me intently. "Since you don't seem like you're going to eat the food I brought, is there anything else you need before I make sure we're prepared for today?"

"You didn't tell me how your date on Friday went." he murmurs, looking at me sultrily.

I gulp. I tried to avoid the topic, why does he want to keep bringing it up?

"It was fine. I had fun."

"Fun? That's it? What, did you go to an amusement park?

"No, why would you think that?"

"What fun is to be had on a date?"

I looked at him like he was crazy. "What do you mean?" "There is all types of fun to be had on dates."

"Don't tell me you've never been on a fun date?!"

He tilts his head as he looks at me with a smirk on his face. "Probably not since college, but I apologize. That just reminded me of how young you are. I forget sometimes because you act older most of the time."

I look at him after rolling my eyes, "You can't be more than a few years older than me, so what do you mean 'how young I am'?"

His smirk deepens, "Try 8, young man."

I snicker, as he lets out a deep laugh and says "Ok, play time is over, since all you have to say for your date is that you had 'fun'."

I look at him, getting a little agitated because it seems like he's making fun of my date.

So I say "What do you want me to tell you? Do you want to hear how hot it was? Do you want me to tell you how he fucked me - !" OMG!

Me and my big mouth with no filter! In all my years as a secretary, I've never lost my cool like this.

I slowly meet his eyes, to find him glaring at me. "I apologize sir! I did not mean -."

He cuts me off.

"You meant every word." he grits out.

I shake my head quickly "No sir, I really didn't mean -."

He cuts me off again. "Just stop talking, go make sure you have what we need for today. I'll be out in 5 minutes." he growls at me.

I turn, practically stumbling over my feet in my rush to get out of his office. Omg, omg. What do I do? That was a big fuck up, he looked royally pissed off when those words came tumbling out of my mouth. I grab my phone texting the friend group chat "I have royally, and I do mean royally fucked up. I don't want to lose my job! Somebody, anybody! Talk me off this ledge."

Jack replies "What happened now?"

I say "No not you. Somebody else."

Melissa replies "What happened baby?"

I text "It's too much to talk about I need a day, when can I get a day?"

Jack responds "Why not me??"

I text back "You have no empathy, you can't feel my plight!"

Melissa's text comes in "I can come over tomorrow when you get off work?"

I reply back quickly "Yes! That'll work! See you tomorrow!

I grab all of the necessary paperwork and my belongings.

I walk to my office door as he walks out of his office. He stops and stares at me for a minute, while I just stand there shaking in my shoes. He shakes his head slightly.

He looks calmer than he did a few minutes ago, as he brushes past me saying "Let's go."
