I enjoy working for Mr. Baldoni, I really do.

However, I also knew that this wasn't the end of the road for me. So I started looking for job openings for personal secretary at the top 5 companies. If I was able to land a position at the top company that would be the cherry on top of my ice cream sundae.

I didn't find any openings but that wouldn't deter me. I'd keep checking back, so as soon as an opening pops up, I'm applying.

I get off of work at 6, even though Mr. Baldoni won't be done until the last meeting ends at 7. I know he'll probably stay til 9 working on other things. I set it up to have dinner delivered at 8, and make sure his car will be ready when he's done.

After I leave I walk back to the train station and get the train that pulls up as I walk down the steps. I make it home in 30 minutes, and when I get there I'm exhausted.

I look in the fridge and see pasta left over from yesterday. I take the plate out, unwrap it, and head to the microwave. After heating it up, I pour me a cup of apple juice and sit down to eat. After I'm finished, I rinse my dish and put it in the dishwasher.

I walk upstairs to my room and start shedding my clothes as soon as I walk through the door. I'm fully naked by the time I reach the bathroom, and walk over to the shower. We're in meetings all day, and we travel often for business. This dream feels so real, I startle awake looking around like I was expecting to be on that plane that I was on right before I woke up.

I sigh and look at the time, it's 6:30 am. Who'd have known? I chuckle to myself and get out of bed to start my day. After doing my daily hygiene ritual and dressing, I head downstairs to make breakfast. I make a veggie omelet, and toast. Grab my coffee and sit down to eat. After I'm done, and have rinsed my plate, I'm out the door on my way to work.

I arrive to work, swipe in, and head upstairs. "Good morning" I say to Linda, she responds with a cheery "And a good morning it is!"

I laugh as I make my way to my desk to set my things down, before heading to the lounge. I start up the coffee and grab some bagels that are in the pastry case, which I put on a tray with some cream cheese, butter, and jelly. I place the coffee on the tray and head to Mr. Baldoni's office and knock on the door.

"Enter." I open the door, and head over to the coffee table to set the tray down.

"Good morning sir, breakfast is served, please have a seat and enjoy before starting your work day."

He looks at me for a beat before nodding, "Thank you, while I eat can you go over my schedule for the day?"

"Sure, no problem."

"First on the schedule for today, you have a meeting with the board of directors at 9:30, to go over the project details for the Cromwell project."

"After that, you have a lunch meeting at 12 with your father, he says he wants to discuss passing over his stocks in Baldoni Inc to you. Since he's looking to fully retire."

Mr. Baldoni nods and says "Ok, and after?"

"After that you have another meeting at 1:30 with Mr. Cromwell, he wants to go over the business plan for the project. His words: "I want to make sure that there are enough contingencies in place to make sure this project does not fail."

"After that meeting you are free until 4 at which time you have an early dinner meeting with Mr. Shi from the casino project. He says he thinks there's been a mix up in the products he ordered, and what he actually received."

"The last thing on the schedule is drinks at 7 with Mr. Logan, he is interested in an acquisition. I did voice to him that you were uninterested in selling, however he said that you might change your mind after you hear him out."

Mr. Baldoni scoffs and rolls his eyes "He thinks."

I chuckle lightly and say "And soon, he shall know."

Mr. Baldoni laughs, "Ain't that the truth."

I smile, "Anything else before I go and get the meeting room ready?"

He shakes his head "That will be all."

I nod, turn and walk out of his office, I grab the papers from my desk and head to the meeting room. In the meeting room I lay the papers in front of all 8 seats, grab 2 water pitchers, then after cleaning I fill with water, tuck a box of scones under my arm and carry them back to the meeting room. I lay the scones on 2 plates and set them on the table. After setting the cups and napkins on the table I step back to survey what I've done.
