CHAPTER 04

“Luna, your pack will be safe if I’m. Not here. Sending me to another pack will only put them in danger.”

Alpha Samual will find a safe place for you.” I nodded to Luna, I did not want to argue with her I needed for her to leave.

“I’m going to go see what Alpha Samual has come up with.” She kissed Emna on the forehead and left. I packed my backpack. Took my savings from my hiding spot. I had $400.00 dollars saved it should help get me somewhere. There was a knock at my door.  I stashed my money in the bag and put it behind the door.

“Emma,” the warrior, said when I opened the door.” Alphas guests have arrived you are to go downstairs now.”

“Thank you” I said to the warrior “I will down in a minute.”

I quickly changed into my uniform and ran down the stairs. Alpha Samual gave me an annoyed look. I bowed my head.

“sorry Alpha I was charging.” I kept my head down and my hands folded in front of me.

“Emma, this is Alpha Dwayne, his Bata Mark and Alphas son Andrew. Please show them to their room and make sure they are comfortable and have what they need.:”

“Yes, Alpha Samual”, I said.

“Please follow me.” I said to Alpha Dwayne when as we got closer to the room I stopped and asked Alpha Dwayne if you would like to have a separate room for you and your son. Alpha Dwayne looked at his beta, who nodded. Please Alpha Dwayne said if it is no trouble. None at all. I showed them each a room beside each other.

“Is there anything you need?” I asked.

“A bottle of whiskey” the Alpha said, “and two glasses.”

“I will be back shortly.” I told him and went to find it, I did not know where the alcohol was kept. I knocked on Alpha Samual door.” Come in” he said. “Alpha Samual, sorry to bother you” I said with my head down.

“Alpha Dwayne would like a bottle of whiskey and two glasses I was not shown where that would be.”

Alpha Samual went to his cabinet and took out a bottle and a tray, then two glasses he put everything on the tray.

“Normally you just ask a warrior on the floor.”

“Oh, I’m sorry.”

“It is ok, Emma, take him this it is a better whiskey.”

“Thank you,” Alpha.

I took the tray and went back to the guest wing on the second floor. I knocked on Alpha Dwayne’s door.

“Come in” he said.

I opened the door he and his Beta were sitting at a table.

Alpha Dwayne asked me “Emma right.”

“Yes Alpha Dwayne” I said with my head bowed.

“Humm,” he said you look very familiar to me.”

“This is not your pack. Is it” his Beta asked.

“Ummu, no Beta”. I said, I was so scarred I started shaking.

“Did your father send you here?” Alpha Dwayne asked. I did not know what to say, so I just stayed quiet.

Alpha Dwayne looked at me.” My son recognized you. “I will assume by your silence he did. I will speak with Alpha Samual when we leave. You are coming with us. An Alphas daughter should not be a servant.”

Alpha, please, I don’t want to get in trouble.” I said he will think I complained.

“Emma, you let me handle this,” Alpha Dwayne said. Go rest if we need to, we will send for you if we need something.”

I handed him a paper with a number on it. you need not bother a warrior. I have been instructed to give you this number it is the pager. I have so guests can contact me. Just put your room number.”

“Thank you, Emma, now go rest in your room.”

“Thank you,” Alpha Dwayne. I said as I left. I went upstairs to my room Tammy was about to knock on my door when she saw me, I went and pulled her into my room. “Tammy, can I trust you. I asked.

Tammy nodded. “What is going on.”

“I’m the daughter of the Alpha of the Silver Paw pack. My father sent me here because he did not want me.”

“Really”, Tammy said that is awful.

“Alpha Samual’s guests know who I am. They said I was leaving with them.” “You’re the one the rogues are after.”

“Shh!” I told her.” Who told you that?”

“Word spread thru the pack that you are why we are under attacked.”

“I’m sorry tammy I did not know until Luna told me.

“Why did he send you away?” tammy asked.

I closed my eyes I wanted to cry. He said I was weak and would never have a mate I would be lucky if I get a wolf. His new Luna did not like me. “Where is your mother” she asked.

“Mom died in a battle when I was ten, I tried not to cry.

“I’m sorry” tammy said.” What are you going to do”.

I was getting ready to leave when Alpha Dwayne showed up.

“You will never get out of the pack   Emma security has been doubled.”

My heart sank. We went down to the kitchen to eat before it got busy tammy was now doing graces job as a cleaner and guest servant like me.

“I’m worried about leigh and Grace I told tammy as we sat in the kitchen eating. My pager went off, I went and picked up the house phone and called the number.  “Hi Alpha Dwayne” how can I help you?

“um yes I will be right there.” And hung up. Seriously tammy said.  Should they not be in the formal dinning room. They are I said he requested I go there at once.

I went to the dinning room and stood just in the doorway.

“You needed me, Alpha Dwayne?” I ask with my head down.

“Come in and sit-down Emma” he said.

“I’m good” I replied.

“how can I help you.”

“Emma you were asked to sit down” Alpha Samual said.

“Yes Alpha” I nervously took a seat at the table and folded my hands in my lap with my head down. Alpha Samual Spock first.

“Emma, Luna Rachel talked with you?

“Yes, Alpha Samual she did. I told him.

“When Alpha Dwayne and I have finished our business in 2 days you will be going home with them.”

“As you wish, Alpha Samual.”

"Are you hungry Emma? Alpha Dwayne asked.

“I was just starting to eat when you called me”.

Alpha Samual called the waiter to bring another plate.

“Alpha i can go back to the kitchen and eat there is no need... Alpha Samual stopped me from leaving.

“You will sit and eat with us right Dwayne?

“Absolutely” Alpha Dwayne replied.

I kept my head lowered. This was not normal of Alpha Samual.

“Emma why do you keep your head down all the time?” Alpha Dwayne asked me.

“My father told me in the presence of an Alpha or Luna to always keep my head down.” Alpha Dwayne let out a low growl.
