CHAPTER 05

“Emma, he asked I have some questions for you could you answer, Alpha Samual and I with what you know.? My plate of food came I sat with my hand in my lap. Eat Emma we can talk as we eat.

“Emma, you know your father is not a good person”.

I nodded my head.

“’Do you know about the illegal activities of you father? “

I nodded and said some. I have suspicions about some as well.

“What are your suspicions? Alpha Samual asked.

“I overheard a couple of guards talking. They said something about a shipment going out. One said he did not know why Alpha would not let them keep some of the girls. I was only 12 I did not understand what they were talking about when they saw me, they started teasing me.

“Did they do that often” Alpha Dwayne asked.

I nodded and took another bit of my food. After I swallowed my food, I told them I was in his office lots of times when they would come in and talk about guns and drugs. When anyone questioned him about me being in the room, he told then I was too stupid to understand what they were talking about.  I just kept my mouth shut and read my book or colored in my coloring books. “Did your father let you train” Alpha Dwayne asked.

‘No" I said “he said I was too weak and frail to train. And I would never have a mate.

Alpha Dwayne let out another growl.

“calm down Dwayne “Alpha Samual said.

“Emma don’t tell anyone we had this conversation”. Alpha Samual said.

“No Alpha Samual I will not. May I go to my room please?”

“You did not eat much” Alpha Dwayne pointed out.

“sorry I’m not very hungry.” I left and went to my room.

Dwayne’s POV

Alpha Samual and I sat eating dinner my beta and son were eating with the other members of Samual’s pack.

“So, you brought her here and put her as a servant” i asked Samual.

“I thought it would be the best way to hide her.” Samual said.

“She never received punishments, and I made sure she had things she needed. When she asked if she could train with the pack it hurt to tell her no. We could not afford to expose her.”

“How many girls did they take” I asked him.

“six but they were looking for Emma.” Samual told me.

“I can't keep her here I have to move her.” Samual said with sadness in his voice.

“I already decided I was taking her home with me when I saw her. I’m going to have her come here and see what she knows.”

Samual nodded. When she stood in the doorway, she looked so frightened like she was going to be punishment for something.  After we talked to her there was no way I was leaving her here I did not trust Alpha Samual to protect her. We finished our dinner, and I excused myself to go speak with my Beta.

I had just got to my room when my phone rang it was Emma.

“Hi Emma, what’s up.”

“Alpha Dwayne may I speak with you when your done dinner.”

“I’m in my room Emma come down” I told her.

“thank you” Emma said and hung up.

Mark and Andrew just came into the room when I hung up.

“How did it go” my Beta Mark asked,

“She knows a lot. She is on her way here she called me and asked if she could speak with me.”

“Do you think she know anything about Alpha Samual” Mark asked.

“I don't know.  I did not want to ask her here.”

There was a light knock on the door.

EMMA’S POV

I walked quickly to Alpha Dwayne room and knocked on the door.

“Come in Emma” Alpha Dwayne said.

I went in and closed the door. I was not expecting to Beta Mark and Andrew there.

“Oh, I said you're busy. I will....  I started to say.

“Emma it's ok.” You can talk in front of my Beta.”

I was very nervous, “Alpha you need to take Tammy as well” I blurted out. “Why is that”. Alpha Dwayne asked me.

“I fear for her Alpha I said. “She knows too much. That is why Leigh and Grace were taken they saw too much. There were about twelve servant girls who did not make it to the safe room but only four plus Leigh and Grace were taken I find that odd if the came here to take she wolfs.”

“I agree “Alpha Dwayne said.

“Leigh was my best friend,” I told Alpha Dwayne.

“You tell your friend Tammy to be ready tonight to leave with us, you as well.” Alpha Dwayne growled.

“I’m already packed.” I told him.  Shaking because his wolf was growling.

“Ok both of you stay in your room I will come get you both myself. “Alpha Dwayne told me.

“Dwayne” Beta Mark said” he will not be happy about one of his own going with us.”

“I will just tell him Emma will not leave without her.” Alpha Dwayne looked back to me “go and both of you be ready in an hour.”

“Yes, Alpha Dwayne and thank you” I said. I went out and went to find where Tammy was.

I knock on her door when she opened it I looked around then went inside. “Tammy pack everything you can into a big bag what you can’t take we can have replaced” I told her scared we were going to not be able to leave.

“Emma” she said, “what is going on?”

“Tammy, just do it! you’re leaving with me in an hour with Alpha Dwayne. You’re in danger here.”

Tammy grabbed a bag and filled it with what she could. We went to my room and waited. It was over an hour where was Alpha Dwayne he said an hour.

DWAYNES POV

I asked a warrior where I could find Alpha Samual, he told me he was in his office and took me there. I knocked on the door.

“Come” he said. When he saw me, he stood up.

“Alpha Dwayne I did not expect to see you again tonight.”

“Sorry Alpha Samual I got a call from my Luna I must leave right away; we can finish our conversation at the silver lake pack when we go there on the weekend. I have an issue with Emma.”

“What is that” Samual asked.

“She will not go unless I take her friend, I don't know what to do so I thought I would come and speak with you. Being she is probability part of your pack.” “Who is it” Samual asked.

“A servant named Tammy.” I told him.

Then I watched Samual face to see if his expression changed at all.

“No” he said she is not part of my pack she is just a servant. This made my blood boil, but I kept my cool the best I could, Thou my wolf Rusty want to rip him apart. I ignored Rusty.
